Something for everyone at this pool. Free on street parking outside. Admission is $5/person starting at age three. Shade is limited, but there are several seating options around the pool like chairs, covered picnic area, tiered bleacher like stone seating, lawn chairs for sunbathing, etc. Please note-NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED INSIDE. For the budget conscious, eat before you go and use the free water fountain beside the shallow end near the men’s bathroom. Concessions are pricey and are located in the corner building between bathrooms with seating available. The shallow end starts with a zero depth entry and small fountains for young children to enjoy. There are many water features and divided areas in the shallow end and even some in-water seating. There are many entry/exit points around the pool. The deep end is only four feet deep. There are two large water slides (one open, one a closed tube) but no diving boards. There were 3-4 lifeguards stationed in and around the pool and all were attentive. The pool is conveniently located beside the Concho River which boasts a lovely river walk, is next door to the art museum and is around the corner from historic Fort Concho for ease for tourists. Highly recommend.

Kid friendly & birthday party availability

First time at this pool. It was amazing. My only complaint being that we arrived 20 min before close and had to pay full price to get in. Then five short minutes later were told everyone had to be out of the water immediately. No one could be in the pool for 15 minutes before I they closed.... What now? Im not sure what the deal was but I had to very unhappy children and had spent 15$ to swim for 5 minutes.

We have been going to the municipal pool for years!! Its fun for all ages. They have the deep pool with the slides separated from the kids shallow pool with the sprinklers. There are ALWAYS 2-3 life guards on duty watching each area of the pool.One of our favorite family traditions is attending their 4th of July splash party.

Do NOT book an event here!We scheduled a private party and was told we couldn’t swim due to “lightning strikes” in the area. It wasn’t even raining nor was there lightning in the area. No one ever got to get into the pool the entire time we reserved it for. We were told we would get our money back from one of the people there, but when we called and told them our situation the only thing that was given back was the deposit which was already agreed to when we first booked the place.Money wasted and upset children just looking at water is what we got.I do not recommended this place to anyone.

My grandchildren & I had a great time!!! Staff and the general public were very nice!!! Hot day lots of people, but still had lots of room to enjoy yourself in and out of the water. Thank you.

Fun pool especially for small kids. However, I wish there were more chairs and loungers. The rock steps arent comfortable to sit on for more than a few minutes.

Great pool except 1 lifeguard that is not paying attention to the kids getting off the slide. My daughter was stuck at the base of the slide and that lifeguard just watched. My husband had to swim and get her. At least they pulled her after that. Otherwise it was nice.

I love the slides and it’s not deep

Went in for a private party we were invited too,There was a blonde that was super sweet and helpful with my daughter that has down syndrome. I wish I remembered her name. Some of the staff was kinda taking the whistle a little to serious. A 2 year old isnt gonna grasp the no running rule right off the back so whistling 30x per second isnt necessary.

Took the grandson there today. He loves it. Its somewhere he can go that have enough space where he can touch bottom. Its better than the other pool for little one who cannt swim. What San Angelo needs is more public pools.

Good place to cool off for the summer. Some times its way too packed but most days its not that bad. Not bad for $5 .

Love the upgrades they have done to the pool! It is clean, well maintained, the lifeguards are friendly and alert. They kept the kids in check but were very nice about it. I had a lovely time swimming with a friend and her kids!

The pool is nice, especially for younger kids. The deepest part is 4ft so I doubt the pool would be much fun for the 16+ crowd. There are waterslides, but you need to be 48 inches to ride them. Lots of sprinklers and water spraying throughout the pool. Basketball hoop at one end and kids playing football in the pool, which can get a little hazardous for smaller guests if they want to go into the main part of the pool.The grass is fake around the pool and the plastic gets VERY hot. Decent amount of seating. Some shade.Bathrooms are clean, but floors are really slippery and lots of puddles of water on them. There are lockers in the bathrooms.There seem to be a lot of unwritten rules about where to sit, stand, and climb so you just have to wait until one of the teenage lifeguards yells at you to figure those out.The water looked clean, just a few bits of broken plastic, leaves, and wrappers.No music playing, so surprisingly quiet for as many kids as there were.Concessions are pricey. One bottle of water will set you back $1.50. No outside food or drinks allowed. There is 1 water fountain though.Cost for ages 3 and up is $5 and theyre open noon to 6 Tuesday-Sunday I believe.No trouble finding parking nearby.Overall its a nice place to spend an afternoon, but pretty expensive to go regularly if you have a larger family.

Clean, updated facilities. Good lifeguard staff, and a good family atmosphere.

The showers & (peeking into staff office) need a deep cleaning. Shower head & curtian replacement. We have put in multiple requests but it goes until heard. The staff are very friendly & the kids have big fun!

The place is great for families with children of all ages. My one year old can waddle around and have fun as well as my older children.

Great place for a private birthday party

All around great pool, for the little ones with beach entry and water spraying out to big pool with fun slides. Lots of space, never feel too crowded!

Great community pool with slides, area for littles, and activities. $5 a person is a pretty reasonable price.

Its a nice pool to splash around in, but if you want to swim laps or avoid shrieking children, youll want to try somewhere else. The entrance fee isnt too bad, and the lifeguards are pretty nice. Theres a concession stand, but only cash is accepted there.

We were visiting here. I liked that they had lifeguards in the child play area and my kids love it

Looks old and there’s nothing for single adults to do there. Needs updating and bigger and taller water slides, a wave pool, etc. Disappointing that a city this size has NOTHING.

Best pool in San Angelo tx it is the best place to your kids they have a locker room, bathrooms, snack bar, sometimes a dj, life guards are always on duty for kids safety, and 2 slides it’s just the best I can’t even explain you just have to go

A small, yet spectacular swimming pool. Has a kids section, and a normal swimming pool going deep to about 7 ft

Its okay for a weekend swim, but know that the water is pretty murky. I also didnt like the cost, but I know it takes money to run a place this size. Overall, the kids enjoyed it.

Very fun for my 3 year old and 10 year old. I wouldnt recommend it to adults with no kids because the deepest the pool gets is 4 ft.

Did two sessions of swimming lessons with my grand daughter. She had a great time and learned a lot.

Water sprayers werent working. Lifeguards standing in front of signs and didnt acknowledge when entering that there were height limits for slides. Rude customer service.
