Quite and regal, beautiful uninhibited location. Worth a trip just to cruise nature and it’s beauty in the Arizona region.

I LOVE this place. It is an all around learning experience, but, its fun. They have an Observatory w/20 telescope;Museum of local history;planetary walk thru that speaks to you& lets you hear sounds from space;&a full immersion ride thru space from discovery park!!Thats only the MAIN building. There is another ENTIRE museum of the history& native people from this area. You could spend a week here & not see all this park has to offer. A GREAT way to pique kids interests in science.

All of the events were fun for the kids and the adults. The staff were very polite and worked great with the kids. Really enjoyed the static electricity show. Wanted to see the planetarium show but it was always to full by the time I got up to it. Wish the weather was warmer so I couldve stayed for the later shows. Disecting the owl pellets was a ball of fun. My son enjoyed it so much. We found all kind of bones. Very informative and educational. We cant wait to go back next year.

Great place for a walk, to learn a bit about science, or to sit and meditate. They also have great field trips for elementary schools. This is where tours start for the MGIO. EAC also offers various classes on the property. Pay attention to gate hours so your car doesnt get locked in overnight.

My son and myself very much enjoyed this weekend that started at Discovery park and ended there as well. The tour of the telescopes was the highlight of my year and I plan on going again as soon as I can. I recommend it to anyone.

One of our familys favorite places. We always learn something new. I dont really write reviews but this is one place in town that I dont think gets enough credit. Bring the family up on a Saturday evening to ride the shuttle or on a clear Saturday night even get a chance to look through the big telescope on site. If you love space, come learn with Jackie or any of the other awesome staff.

You should probably have someone answering the phone when it is during your business hours. Also, the website has posted hours and the sign on the way to the park and the door all have the same hours posted, but on the door it has a hanger that says they are closed until 5 (their posted hours say they close at 4)(i went at 2 in the afternoon). There is no explanation as to why and there were a bunch of cars, so people were in there.

Very disappointed!! Made two trips to visit the Discovery Center during their posted office hours to find it CLOSED - with no notice of why or when it would reopen. Were sorry we missed out...had really looked forward to the shuttle ride. Did tour the wildlife habitat - what a shame that its a total mess!!

The EAC staff that administers this Park doesnt update their website. They dont return messages and if you want to call them expect to leave plenty of messages. This is all in part because ive came up to the doors during business hours and vehicles were there but doors were locked.
