Good to know about olympus pointe sculpture park history. Had a good time. Need to explore. Will visit again. Visited on sep 10th 2020.

Huge metal sculpture in a quiet park. The park has a parking lot and provides access to the Miners Ravine bike and walking trail.

Freeway is close so noise level is high. No real shady spots to speak of. No benches, just concrete blocks that surround the concrete platform the sculpture stands upon. But for two small patches of grass at the sculpture...the Entire area is a mass of dirt, dried out weeds, and gnarled vegetation. Also, there is trash Everywhere directly behind of and off to the side of 24 hr Fitness, which happens to be the main entryway the park; so not a good first impression for anyone new to the place...

Honestly this place was not very interesting to my kids. Also, there were homeless people sleeping 30 feet away. We walked the path for a while until there was a homeless man dragging a trash can which evidently someone reported to the police might have had a body in it.

A lot of trash, which is a bummer because its a nice place. Trash comes from cars at the Gym, not patrons of the park or homeless.

I mean its just twisted metal.... unless youre flying above it looking down. Then its beautiful! I sent a drone above it to get a nice view. It actually does look like a rose! The area down below and around the sculpture was kept nicely. Nothing is overgrown and trimmed. Plenty of sitting and plenty of nice plants to snap pix in front of. Maybe a big waste of money for the city of Roseville ....unless youre above it! ;)

Its great to see people who are actively wanting to better themselves physically or trying to relieve stress by being outdoors and enjoying the great weather with family and friends. Its nice to see everyone out side and enjoying themselves befor returning home to or with their familys.I love seeing the Olympus point structure and enjoying the outdoors with my wife. I would recommend coming out to see what its all about amd to enjoy the Open space and the since of friendship here at the park.

The cosmos sculpture is actually an aeronautical sculpture when you fly over it in an airplane it is a rose bud that opens up and flowers
