A cute and quaint place to bring your family. You don’t pay anything to enter and you can come to just relax or unwind.There is box to donate or take free books donated graciously by the Girl Scouts of America. This is a nice location if you just want to spend a little time away to enjoy natureOh also! There’s stingrays by the walkway!

Very fun and interesting park. The 900 foot boardwalk winds through a forest like setting and ends up at the waters edge with a beautiful view and a bench to enjoy it from. Really nice place to get away and enjoy nature or just a quick lunch escape. We will be going back soon.Rick W

Beautiful relaxing place to walk and spend some reflective time either alone or with friends and family, lovely surrounding areas also.

A fun kids community center that offers multiple outdoor and indoor programs and activities like a kids garden, nature walks, tent building and group activities.As for the nature trails it is a nice boarded walkway but it is under construction right now and only goes about ten feet into the brush before you come to an under construction sign.What you see in that small portion is beautiful.It was our first time going and no one else was there. It was rather peaceful and full of wild life.Parents with children watch that they dont travel too far. The construction sign is just a small sign on a wooden beam. After that the wooden path drops off completely.

A very nice small park with access to the water via Boardwalk. There are restrooms and a nature center with outdoor classroom space. Theres parking for cars and a bike rack it makes for a very nice Bike Ride Along Rockledge Road which takes you to within just a few hundred feet of the park. The interpretive signage is quite outdated along the boardwalk but the walk itself and plants are very enjoyable.

Small nice trail with walkway through the woods to the edge of the water. Flew my drone there today.

We really like talking to the employees inside and asking questions about the turtles and fish. They are great with kids. The outside play area is rundown but the boardwalk is very nice.

Absolutely beautiful walk to the river. Real bathrooms and interesting activities... Made a tree fort. Lots of ants and warnings for fire ants. Covered area for lunch.

Sadly in need of repair. The water fountain was coming off the wall. They have a dead tree marked off with cones instead of taking it down for child safety. The boardwalk also lpoked like ot needs repair. To sad.

This is an amazing park! Lots of educational play for the kids, arts and crafts, educational classes, and its gorgeous!

Saw all kinds of birds. Inside in had really nice displays nice little gift shop and prices were ok. Some good and bad.

Nice little slice of Florida hammock with small learning center, covered picnic tables, and a boardwalk nature walk to the Indian River lagoon. The boardwalk is showing its age and when wet can be very slick due to algae growth. We had to be extra cautious with our little boy!

Great place for toddlers! Lots of nature inspired play. Nice little walk to the river. Restrooms and picnic area. Nice little nature center that sometimes offer crafts. Parking lot is small.

A hidden gem! Fantastic local park with great activities and outdoor props for young kids. My 4 year old loves it and can spend an hour + here.There is a boardwalk trail to the river with beautiful views. They are still repairing the very end by the water (from hurricane damage) but your able to still walk to the water.Be sure to check the Brevard Parks and Rec Facebook page for their daily activities and hour for the indoor facility. Inside are also small aquariums and lots of educational information. Great for kids and adults alike.They do great themed field trips too!

Not very well maintained. The water play area had standing water that didnt look like it had been changed for a while. There was a sign for a garden area, but no sight of a garden. Disappointed with our visit because I had heard good things about the park.

Amazing park! Lots of activities for kids off all ages and lots of teachable moment opportunities. The boardwalk is lovely as well, but part of it is closed off due to damage from hurricane Irma.

Great imaginative play area for kids as well as nature center with live animal displays. Nice walk through nature to the water. Decent fishing spot as well.

Very nice outdoor classroom/activity area and boardwalk to the river; note that the park itself seems to be open every day: the posted hours are for the bathrooms and nature center.

Nice unobtrusive boardwalk laid in the canopy that opens to the sandy beach of the river.

They where closed due to repairs no sign to say we could not walk the boardwalk so disappinting

This is a hand on leaning park and the best part it is free. Kids can play instruments, pump water from a well, paint take a hike on the board walk and so much more!

Nice nature walk to the river kind of confined because you have to stay on just the deck but still real nice nature walk.
