We went here for the first time yesterday. Walking through that first door, the smell hit me instantly. You know...that skating rink smell. It threw me back to 1996 where I was begging my parents to drop me off at the skating rink I grew up at in WI. Upon entering the skating area, you could tell there is a close-knit group of skaters there. My daughter fell a few times and not only did a staff member check on her, but one of the younger skaters did as well. My daughter has a lot of muscular issues and we use skating as a form of building her muscles. To see people not laugh at her (like they did in 96 for us parents) and to show compassion and concern with the newbies was refreshing. You can tell the staff love their jobs and love their skating families. The place was clean and I didnt feel gross when I left. We will definitely be back weekly to get her skating sessions in.

State Co was amazing just as I remember when I was younger. I loved it. Will be returning next week

It use to be $6or $7 to get in now it’s $12 plus skates say whaaaaa!!!!! Skate land it is️

Nice place for you kids to have fun . But do not order food. You can crank up the oven at your house drop your kids off and go back for a slice of pizza by the time they are done. Terrible place and unorganized staff.

We just celebrated my sons 9th birthday at Skate Co. It was the best party! The kids had so much fun! It was a great time for family and friends. The Staff were all very nice and helpful. The party was affordable on like other party places in this area. We cant wait to go back for family night!

It fun but it pretty old

Very disappointed! First of all 7.00 to enter even if you want to make sure your children get in safely. My daughter then called and asked to be picked up early, was made uncomfortable someone kept grabbing her. I left immediately to find her standing outside in the dark. Then she proceeded to tell me that she was unable to stand inside the building because she had taken her skates off. I am thankful nothing happened to her that is not a place for young girls to be outside alone!!!

New owner is really giving this place a face lift! My child attends roller derby here and loves it.

Granddaughter and I love this place. They do an excellent job with everything from food to making sure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

If youre looking for a roller rink you got one. Place needs some updating though.

Skateco its still here till this day oh yeah I remember they had a pinball machine it had to moving animatronic characters yeah theyre on a construction site I forgot their names I hope nothing has changed in there how expensive is replace I wonder

The staff were pretty friendly. Some of the staff were strict. But overall a good place to have a birthday party

Love coming here with my kiddos! They can adjust the skates for my littlest one and we always have a great time. Plus, its a great family activity to really get the kids moving!

Took a 2.5 hour drive to check out their new Sunday old school jam session. Was my first time going and I had a great time, I would make the drive again. Its under new ownership and the new owner seemed nice and socialized with his customers, other staff seemed nice as well From what I hear he is putting a lot of work into the rink and making it better as he can.

They changed the rules ,, before the rules changed anybody could get in skateco now only 60 people can get at once .

Great place used to go for school partys with the class amd still go to sunday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. skate cuz I know its fun

Thursday night old school music and JAMS. Stop in, skate, play games, and cool off. Fun for a cheap price.

Its really sad Ive been taking my children here on Fridays now they want to start charging $7.00 for none skaters. I just go inside for like 5 minutes to make sure my kids lock there stuff in the lockers so it wont get stolen. I wont pay $7.00 for that. Business must be going down hill. We wont be returning at all.

I love skating this rink, its my home away from home-rink! The new owner keeps adding improvements to make the experience more enjoyable- lighting, DJ, etc and the regulars are welcoming and friendly. Worth the 90 minute drive for me!!

I had to wait 30 minutes for a small hot dog while a person who ordered a full pizza after me got thier order. Not very clean place is a bit hidded but good roller skates not blades tho

Just like the 80s!This place is like out of a time capsule. Very CLEAN inside. Great owner, nice place. Outside a little sketchy, but inside is fine. Skates are super old, if you have your own, bring them.

Place is not safe. Hoards of unsupervised juveniles there. Large fight Friday night with 16 yr old employee involved who actively fought police. If ur a responsible adult, dont send ur kid there. There is a certain clientele this place allows.

Skate co is an awful experience! Went to pick up my granddaughter and they would not let is in at first...the guy, was checking out all the young girls and even grabbed my sons girlfriends butt! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...which is sad because I skated here as a child...called to complain to the owner and she defended her employee and got very defensive ....this will also be reported elsewhere...no star rating

What a hidden gem. My kid had fun skating there. I suggest bring your own skates. The skates there are not cleaned very well.

I will never spend my money there ever again. They should be shut down for the safety hazards going on in there. Buckets and towels all over the skating floor and dining area . Skate Co should be ashamed of themselves. Booked a party , paid my money over the phone to arrive and be told about all the leaks .What was I going to do? Take the party elsewhere last minute? I shouldve been given that choice to continue reservation after being informed of the leaks . The building was freezing and even though there was only 2 parties they still didnt let down any more than 2 tables for seating. The adults that attended my party with their young children were charged for admission on top of skate rental because they needed to help their young child skate .(skate rental understandable). Even going to the bathroom or pretty much walk anywhere you were walking over puddles . Staff wasnt very deliteful however the dj was about the only welcoming person there. I recommend other competitors.

Here for a birthday party and its gross! Sticky floors, wet towels on the bathroom floor, dirty tables and the worst part- only skates in a few sizes and those sizes are broken! Ridiculous!!!! This place should close!

It was extremely dirty and especially the restrooms with urine all over the floor? Skaters with Skates on have a access to the entire area so you are likely to be wiped out by a skater. I would advise anyone to find a different skating location!

The staff is a little grumpy and the floors are very warped and the place is way out dated!! Nothing has change in 20 years not even the bathrooms!!

I love having my kids birthday parties here bit I think that its ridiculous that they force all kids under 18 to wear skates. I have had children with disabilities or that were scared to be on skates and they forced them to wear skates or they had to leave. Dont understand why this is such a big deal.

Worse rink ever floors suck and the workers did not want to make food for my friends.first and last time ever going there sad because it was only us four people there.

Not open when they claim to be! I wouldnt give them any stars if that was an option! I am here out of state and the kids were looking forward to it!

I wanted to pick two stars but its been a while since I been skating! The music was weak, he played sponge Bob, and the last song was my mamma dont like you and she like everyone. The floor also needs to be repaired BAD and when I called they told me a party was $75.00 dollars! When I ordered $30.00 dollars worth of food he told me he couldnt give me a receipt so they maybe cheating them little children out there $.

Rented skates, very poor quality. Other than that had a good time. Blast from the past!
