Food was great,service not so much. No customers,forgot to bring apps a friend ordered. Forgot fries for another order. Server didnt bother to come over to ask how everything was until we we all pretty much done. Definitely will go back,with a different server of course

Was okay. Im in my 50s so the crowd was a little bit younger the hand full of times Ive been there. Bartenders are nice but seems forced. Atmosphere is laid back and on the trendy side. Not to bad . They do offer public restrooms and are wheelchair accessible. They have a wide variety of spirits at far prices. Ill always go back when Im in Rockford. One time I had so much fun, I ha dto get a uber home . The pictures tell all .

Great place to eat. Amazing food at low prices. I highly recommend District if you like restraunt quality bar food. Friendly staff that is always easy on the eyes also. Their daily specials are always the best deals around. Great place for lunch with family or a dinner for 2. Excellent nightly entertainment also.

Their food honestly is super good! I always get the chicken Caesar wrap and it tastes like heaven and its a good size. Not too big but not too small its perfect.

I almost rated this a 4 because of the rickety tables, but as usual, I changed my table to a more stable one, so my rating is based on the food and the service! Anything I order is good (wings, shrimp and fries, chillimac, etc.) The service is friendly and the manager, more often than not, checks to make sure that all is well. Its a warm and friendly sports bar, but I took my teen daughter there early evening, and it was a comfortable family-friendly environment for her. Some evenings Ive had a cocktail, and they always get my specialty martini right!!

Exceptional. Though the minimum order of wings could be 5-6 instead of 10.

The staff was wonderful when our daughters travel volleyball team was in town. They had service for our group of 30 but we did call a couple days ahead and spoke to the manager. Our club also had another team go a few hours later.

I can not speak about the bar or events as Ive only done lunch there. Sandwiches are great. Service is very good. Prices are very reasonable.

Not bad at all. Very open friendly. I had a mushroom and Swiss Burger with Cole slaw. The seasoned beef was off the chain. All the ingredients were super fresh. The pickles were a bit more of a cucumber fresh. The Cole slaw was a bit sweet for my taste but I know many that might want it sweeter.

The food is great! Me and my family go to ice hogs games a lot and we always stop here before the games to eat. Only complaint is last time they completely mixed up our order but they were very kind about getting it fixed.

Taco Tuesday was a horrible experiences. Waited an hour and some minute for food and the place wasnt busy. Nachos were cold and drinks were ordered but waitress didnt bring them till moments before the nachos. Waitress was asinine as we order food and drink.

Bartenders dont seem like they want to be there or work. Rarely a smile. Food was average. Its a great bar just average service unfortunately

I am not too sure what other people mean by their comments about the terrible bar owner but my husband and I didnt have a problem when we went here this past month to see a band play. It wasnt too crowded, the staff was very attentive- nearly every single wait staff member asked us if we needed anything. Food was good too.

Burgers on Wednesday...sooo good

I was disappointed with the service we recieved. It was crowded when we arrived which was to be expected, so I expected the service to be slow. Unfortunately the waitress were extremely slow, she brought us the wrong order of drinks and food. This was frustrating and it seemed an eterinty when she came back with correct order. The food wasnt all that apetitizing. Would not visit again.

Food looked good. Myself and a few of my classmates went for lunch. We were one of the first tables to sit down for food. The waitress comes up to us and takes our order, our drinks come back fast but we ended up waiting 45 minutes before we left without even getting our food. Never did we get a sorry its taking so long or anything. Just every ten minutes we were told our food was ready and coming out until we finally just left.

Havent been here for lunch, but the weekend bar crowd is pretty roudy, and the bar itself is difficult to access through the crowd. Bartenders work hard and are great with customers. Pool table arcade games and video poker in the back. Not a bad spot if you dont mind a young crowd.

The Distric always has thr weekend jumping off with great djs and much much more.

Its nice inside bar and there is gamble machine are more fun for people to play without bored for nothing

Great place with responsive bartenders. We had a good time based on the fact we were there on a Tuesday evening. Unique atmosphere and competitive priced drinks... Ill be back again.

Its a well run bar. It brings more of a trendy crowd during the weekends in my experience. Service is usually pretty good with the amount of guest that are there. Overall great bar. Not my kind of scene, but they have a good thing going.

We were not greeted when we came in, even though the place was empty, the tables were not clean, again even though it was not busy at all. Food was good, nothing outstanding. Music was all over the place, from 80s to pop to heavy metal, found that a little odd. Overall not too bad, but probably wont return

Food was good. Service was a little slow. Rockford Cheese steak was amazing. Garlic mashed potatoes were lukewarm and flavor was mediocre. Went at lunch on a weekday 2 weeks ago. Faster service would be 4 stars. And fix the potatoes and its 5 star. That said, would go again. Not a bad visit. Just lacked a wow factor.

I would say the service was horrible, but that would mean I would have had to actually receive service to begin with. In me and my wife’s experience no one ever came to our table to provide service. It was a busy night but several waitresses were on duty, two of which were making their rounds in our area. I seen one of the waitresses make eye contact with me more than once, yet she never came to our table. We were really looking forward to trying out the food there so we stayed much longer than we should have. 10 minutes went by............20 minutes went by..............after 25 minutes of getting ignored we decided enough was enough and left. We’ll never know firsthand what the food over there is like because we won’t be back.

It was packed for the Vanfleet event but other than that its a great place to grab some grub or drinks.

My family and I went here for dinner before an ice hogs game. Ordered 2 cheese burgers and 2 plates of hot wings. All other tables were served before use and never received our food. All while I had two free beers before ending up walking out. I informed the waitress that it was unexptable and that we would be leaving. I even waited for a bill on the beers and she never returned.

Gnats and fruit flies all over especially when your eating. Staff is aware and management is doing nothing!

I have been here several times and just have not had good experiences. The food itself is more disappointing than the food options, and the service has never once been good or prompt at all. If youre just grabbing a beer before the Icehogs game its fine, just order early and request your check early and know they might still mess it up.

I love the location of the bar, I love the size of the place and I love the layout on the inside. The blonde waitress with her sides shaved, was the best thing going yesterday night. Super friendly and made sure that we were taken care of! Now what I didnt like, was the sticky floor and the element that hung out at the back door. Try asking your wife, your fiancé or your girlfriend to run back to the car for your wallet, while you hit the bathroom. The lack of parking is ridiculous and I wasnt feeling the DJ. The hot bartender on her phone the whole time, I guess that could be taken as rude, but shes hot and thats how some hot bartender are. A bartender is a person who formulates and serves alcoholic or soft drink beverages behind the bar. Thats her job, shes not a person who specializes in the study of mind and behavior or in the treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. In other words I cant label her as rude, because a certain someone at another table couldnt retrieve her number. Lastly, I didnt try the food and the drinks are a tad costly, but I will try The District again. If for nothing else, to chop it up with the Wisconsin Waitress, not to hear the know nothing about house muzik DJ!

The performances tonight were off the chain... Seriously. Congrats to Murce Him , J Martez & Venus... The turnout was unreal and the support was amazing. The other bar patrons tonight were all SO much fun and the vibe was contagious.. but the bar itself should consider adding more help. Everyone was waiting 20 mins or longer for drinks and it was clear the 2-3 bartenders (even with 2 servers) just couldnt keep up. And it was a sunday .. I dont know if was a last minute staffing issue or thats a frequent problem for district. However i still enjoyed myself I would still recommend visiting to other if theyde there for entertainment

Very good wings. Service was solid and nice sports bar. They look to have live music as there is a big stage when you walk in. Parking is a bit of a challenge since it is down town.

One of the best burgers in town!

Went to see a concert and the place was over packed and the security was understaffed. You could barley move through the crowd. Im sure the amount of people there was a violation of the fire codes. There where three fights that I seen myself. The drinks are way over priced. I paid good money for the tickets and watched people randomly walk in while security was trying to put out other fires. I definitely will never go back. I will say that the staff was friendly and worked really hard.

This bar is a great venue for concerts. Good service and never too crowded.

In town visiting family and went to this establishment did not like it one bit however i made the best out of it..had to teach the bartender how to make a drink..asked for a margarita and she gave me straight syrup and liquor. After that unpleasant drink as i told her I am a person who likes to enjoy my cocktails. Carried on to enjoy the night with the little hype music they had playing. Need a better DJ...i will say this the security guard was cool and its a bar thats it

Stopped by for lunch and a beer. Beer was served in a plastic cup and the bartender was unable to tell me what a certain beer was that was on tap. I ordered a blue cheeseburger which came out with out blue cheese and big onion rings on it. I was served the wrong burger which was fine. I asked the waitress if she could go grab some blue cheese and she brought it back minus the awesome onion rings and blue cheese mixed in with the half cup of bbq sauce which was dusgusting. Maybe a nice place for some but not a place for me!

This is an amazing burger place. I went with 7 of my co-workers and not one of us didnt like our burgers. Wednesday they have a special on Burgers so if youre in the area I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Not all that nice bar. I been here twice and the first time was during the day and the floor was sticky as hell. I ate here and had the garlic fries...they just throw mass garlic powder or salt on the fries for 75 cent more...The second time was nicer. I actually had a nice time with my sister. We were the only 2 on the floor. Dj played songs based off my dancing which was FUN! Will most definitely have to come back when its a better crowd of people.

I really like this place but I am not loving enough to give it five stars. The food is good, the location is good, unless you are driving and need to park. This can be tough during the lunch hour. My boss and I go here quite a bit for a bite over the lunch hour.

First time there I loved it

I have been here a couple times. Each visit was different. Last time there was energetic people dancing and awesome quick service on food. This time was the UFC fight and they had great control on the rowdy crowd and everyone was having an awesome time and getting along. Food service was slow, but that is to be expected during a once in a lifetime event.

The bartender told me there is a$1.50 charge if you want ice in your drink.After I wrote this they started including the charge for ice on the bill for the drink. Im not sure what the standards are in Rockford for service at a bar are but this is the kind of service youll get even if you dont know it.Lots of people in Rockford love this place.

Great staff great beer

Decent dive bar. Extensive American food. Tap selection is decent, could be more expansive. Good for sports but not open on Sundays anymore. They do have concerts and good outdoor seating.

Service is brutal lately, nothing more I can add! Food isnt bad. Way to many chiefs (managers)and no workers. To bad too, game night downtown and should be staffed. Oh well.

The District Bar and Grill has very good food and the staff are very friendly. The menu items are a bit expensive but worth it if you have it. Great atmosphere. Stop in and try it for yourself. You wont be disappointed!

I come here occasionally with small groups to watch games or catch a band. Good variety of beers, burgers are great and the staff is friendly. This place is pretty open and can handle big groups, but fills up fast for popular events.

I had a good time here. Im in my upper 40s and I felt like I fit in with the crowd. The crowd looked to be in their 30s to 40s. The band with Steve Shannon was very good and played all genres of music.
