Went for a Graduation of adults who went back to school to achieve either their High School Diploma or GED. The Auditorium was very nice for a High School Auditorium/Theater.

I actually attended the Ramona high School game. It was a great game!!!I really appreciate it the security that they had tonight. I felt very safe. I actually had to take my backpack in which held my diabetic machine and my blood pressure machine and my blanket.Backpacks were not allowed which I totally understand, thanks to the night staff lady she allowed me to take mine in knowing I had my medication and supplies I needed.Im sorry my only complaint I have, is the girls restroom by the football field next to the convenience stand. Did not smell sanitized. Could use some air freshener. But other than that had a great time. Go Rams!!!

Came for family members graduating. Was nice once you figured out the situation with the gates and the various entrance and exit points. The stadium was packed but it never felt crowded or claustrophobic. The parking situation was not to bad, if you know your way around.

Preformed here many timea and all I got to say is I love it. If you are coming to see a preformance I would recommend coming 30 minutes before it starts to get a good parking spot. And if you dont get one park across the street to a residential area theres always parking.

As High School Theaters go, this is a very nice one. I guess if you really care about where you sit when you see your kid perform, this is a good one. Its new, its clean, its large. What more do you want?

For whoever posted about an August 2003 posting, get real.I was a student from 2002-2006. When I arrived, Blacks were against Mexicans. There were many riots and fights during 2002-2003, and it was a very hard time for me as a student. Though I stayed out of harms way just fine, no one can HIDE or PRETEND that in -2003- the students were HORRIBLE and even more so horribly managed. Fire alarms were also pulled very frequently, almost at once a month in the beginning of the school year. It wasnt until the principal from Polytechnical High School arrived at Ramona that things finally took a turn for the better. Though his name escapes me, if you were a Ramona student during any year from 2003-2006, you will know who he is. He moved on to another school or job during my graduation of 2006, and after that I had heard the worst.First, the principal went to Paris with the Ramona Band, and proceeded to be a bad example to staff and students by being plastered as they say, during a majority of the trip. She fired many RESPECTABLE staff, and some teachers I had talked to, in fear of their jobs found a job elsewhere and moved on.This principal as far as I heard, was dismissed. Now the new principal of 2009, I know nothing about. I hear that the riots are coming back, so someone must not be doing their job. Everything seems to be going back to 2003 when these times were becoming excessively hard. In any case, I loved Ramona during my stay, and as an alumni, I can say personally had a great experience. I would re-choose this school despite the short comings because in general the staff and staff participation out weights the short comings entirely. My only other concern is the Avid program isnt very avid at all. Once a students work shows any sign of deterioration, they are let go due to bringing down the Avid classes GPA as a whole. Youre better off joining an Academy such as Health and Banking and Finance. Youll feel more like you have a family and get real life education for the real world rather than sticking your nose in books and hoping something good comes out of it. Avid may work for some people, but most of whom I talked to were very stressed and miserable students just trying to catch up because they didnt understand the quadratic formula or something else of the like.I still highly recommend this school, despite that dark outlook on the current day, but for those going into Ramona now, the 2009-2010 students, I hope you go in with confidence, and not with violence. And to the parents, your kids will be exposed to the public sometime, and this is a really good public school to expose them too. Often I felt like this was a college sort of class except that more was expected of you than most other schools. And to other reviewers, please dont try to cover up 2002-2003. It may be in the past, but it is not forgotten; believe me.

Great, down-to-earth atmosphere. Many of our college-prep students go to Riverside Community College, CS San Bernardino, UC Riverside, and Cal Baptist University (half a mile down the street). However, in the last 10 years, Ramona has sent students to Harvard U. in Cambridge (Massachusetts), Stanford U. in Palo Alto, Notre Dame U. in South Bend (Indiana), Worcester Polytechnic U. (Massachusetts), Pepperdine U. in Malibu, Pitzer, Harvey-Mudd, Pomona in Claremont, Cornell U. in New York, Bentley U. in Massachusetts, Bennington College in Vermont, West Point Academy in New York, Naval Academy in Annapolis (Maryland), UCLA, UC Berkeley, and USC, just to name a few. For a lower-income school, that is very impressive. And our students graduate from these colleges.
