I would like to thank the Funny Bone for bring stand up to Richmond. They book good acts and make it easy to purchase tickets online without crazy fees. A couple things you may want to know about the funny bone is that theres a 15% gratuity added to your bill. The food and beverages are okay but nothing stand out but keep in mind youre at a comedy club not a restaurant. The good news is that in the shopping mall theres plenty of food options before the show.

Very enjoyable! Went there with a group of friends. Was able to social distance and still have a good time. Staff very professional.

This is a great comedy club located in the short pump town center. We really enjoyed the show. Only complaint was the drinks were expensive but expected with a captive audience. The area is small i would recommend getting there early. They do have a food menu that is not to expensive. Will visit again

It was freaking amazing! You have to go to this place if you are in Richmond! The night Im writing this, I saw Rodney Perry as the main show and, man, was he funny and super nice. I got to participate in his show by dancing and he looked like he was having a fantastic time with who he picked. The first two acts were hilarious too. They pick amazing people to feature here! Come to the Funny Bone, it is so HUMERUS! XD

Its a nice place. Food wasnt bad. Menu doesnt have the alcohol drink prices but I can tell you theyre overpriced. We got the check and all of our drinks were $12.50. They also put their own gratuity on the bill. Our bill came out to 117 because the expensive drinks and gratuity was $15. Drink before you come. Just dont drink and drive. The comedy show itself was really funny. We seen Pierre. We will be going back just eating and drinking before or after we go.

The comedian we saw was Pierre, He was very funny and the guy before him was funny. The first one needed to work on closing his jokes well. Depending on where they sit you the place is not that comfortable. Not bad I think you an enjoy yourself and some drinks, if theres a good comedian. Our luck has been good so far.

Love this place! Great mix drinks, food is good. Its a small club, which makes its audience feel more connected with the big comedians that come through. Sometimes the comedians will take pics with you after the show. If youre going on a 1st date with someone and looking for the perfect place to go..search no further! Youll laugh all night and have a lot to talk about after the show.

A Marvelous experience it was. Had a lil trouble @ the ticket window & management resolved situation beautifully. Good food, great laughs and most of all the grown mature togetherness . I give it 2up....️ it.

Great venue and location. Perfect place to hang out with friends or a date night. The only thing I use the club would do is TURN DOWN the audio at the beginning of the video and announcer. The volume is way too loud, but the comics volume is great.

My husband and I always come here for a good time. Comedians that come here are really funny. We rarely eat here, the food is a little pricey for the quality. Staff is friendly. Overall great place to come hang out.

Pierre was amazing. The host should get a tad bit funnier. Pierre is the best comedian we have seen in years; and we just attended the Martin Tour in DC a few weeks ago.

I was here today for their afternoon show. Their service is excellent and the place is cozy, but I was there for a free show so I guess that is a game changer. Yes! We were there for the Free show 420 whatever and it was funny! I mean one guy better than the other but all good. Regardless, we were at the last performer, which had made me laugh hard, I receive my table ticket and discussed some differences in it with my brother at the table. Suddenly, we are being escorted out the show because we were talking. I get it, but we meant no harm, the ticket was wrong!!! I apologized and still that meant nothing. It was obvious that he had nothing funnier to do than use us at the moment. It was humiliating and we did not deserve the treatment while Funny Bone allowed it to happen. We spent more than $200. 00 in drinks and appetizers just to be treated like garbage. Not acceptable, inhumane, hurtful, and traumatizing!

The comics were great. The staff was friendly and efficient and my drink was excellent. The food was expensive and terrible. I ordered a very simple grilled cheese sandwich. They put lettuce, tomato on it then grilled it and added onion rings. It was a cold sloppy mess served with ice cold fries.

Love the talent this place brings in. Enjoy the laughs and intimate setting. Perfect for date nights. I dont enjoy standing in lines every time I go and wish they had more vegan options on the menu.

I went to see a show of a PERSONAL friend, was on the guest list and all, but when I walked in they said it was no space, then when I was in there standing up they said the police had been called for everybody who was unticketed, keep in mind me along with everyone else I was with, HAD A TICKET. So they let the people who didn’t have tickets keep sitting while they threw me and my party out, who were on the guest list. 10/10 would NOT recommend

We went and they had George Lopez as the headliner. He was super funny. But the atmosphere was not controlled by staff properly it was hard to hear him for the lack of crowd control. The food was super expensive. The drinks were as well. A sip of wine was 9 dollars. Basket of wings 17 dollars. The prices for the people yelling and screaming over your head was not worth it. I sat at table 53. Good seats but they announce no talking yet everyone is yelling over G.Lopez jokes. It could be a lot better for all the money you spend

This was a surprise BD gift with my Lovely wife!! 1st comedy show ever.. I am now hooked!!! Cant wait for the next 1. Service was on point n dri is were delicious

Did not know what to expect but had an awesome time with the hubby. All of the comedians were funny but the headliner John was hilarious! I would definitely go back.

They cram people into that place like sardines. I have to question if it’s a safe place to be. The couple sitting next to us talked and played with their phone throughout the entire show. I asked the waitress to do something about it and she did nothing!!! I guess they don’t follow their own rules which they have listed at front door...

Went to see Ryan Davis last night. Delivered on all accords. Show was great, drinks were great, and the food was pretty good. Id come back for another show.

The salads are huge and tasty. I had a blast! Everyone was helpful and friendly. ***Print tickets out before hand. The line at the window is in need of 21st century technology/procedures.

The portion sizes are so small. The food is good but expensive and expect to pay extra for chips if they dont give you enough the nachos are not enough to share. Definitely need to improve on the portion size. Nachos a basket of fries the size of a small in most places and two sprites was $45. Eat before you go. The comics are great but the food leaves you still hungry. We have been going for years and the portions get smaller and smaller every year. We called the manger but nothing was done.

Overall it was a great night. The food was a bit pricey, and they got my order wrong. My husband and I ordered the chicken tacos and we got the shrimp instead. We just ate them anyway it wasnt a big deal. The line up was historical and the atmosphere was laidback. We will definitely be back. Well probably eat before we go.

I really love the seating arrangement here. I usually go to the FunnyBone in Virginia Beach. Seating is better here. The service here is really great. The food and drinks come quickly with no delay. The drinks are nice and strong. The Smokehouse Nachos are to die for as always, but smaller than the other FunnyBone’s mountain sized nachos.

Seating is arranged much better than Virginia Beachs Funny Bone, but get there early. If youre given the option to sit at the stage, ask if its the front or side. From the side of the stage I could see the people in the front getting doused with spit and sweat...

It’s always a good laugh. The facility is very clean but can be a little cramped because of the close seating. The drinks are overpriced and the food is overpriced but, the menu has some tasty and unexpected selections. The waitstaff is always great .

Friendly staff they were VERY helpful. The food came out fast, the patrons were friendly and the comedians were hilarious. Great for a date night if youre trying to find something to do on Friday or Saturday night.

My wife and I came here and this was my first comedy show ever. We pulled up on Aaron kleiber and the infamous Tony Baker that both had great comedy shows. The establishment did their best to cater to me and my wife especially after she had some work done on her vision and instead of having us in the back of the room they brought us right up to the front to experience the show a little better then where we were originally seated. The staff is outstanding and the food was impeccable I cannot wait to go back for another comedy show soon.

Saw Jason Mewes here with my bestfriend and we had a wonderful time. Our server was polite and timed our drinks, food and check perfectly. It was very well run and we will definitely be back.

Ladies night out...We saw Capone. He was super funny and kept us laughing all night. His opening act and host were also hilarious and entertaining. We had drinks and food, which came out fast.

Good food, great comedy -- what more could you ask for? Its definitely worth coming here with friends but it can be frightfully cold inside sometimes and a little cramped if you sit in the middle walkway area! Be careful sitting up front by the stage too because (of course) the comedians will come after you if that fits their routine. Also, be prepared to spend money if you want to eat or drink anything since thats where most of their profit comes from. Aside from that, I really dont have any issues with this place.

First time at a comedy club and it was a great experience! We saw Micah bam bamm White and I have to say it was way better than most comedy specials you can watch on Netflix. You really feel like youre part of the set.

Almost 9 bucks for a coke at the bar before you walk in to the seating area. 8.63 I believe it was. Not even any alcohol in the coke that was full of ice. After that instance we decided not to get food or any other drinks bc the coke was highway robbery.Show was good. Both the comics were incredible. Id pay to see either comic as a headliner. Will def go again, just order the bottled water though.

We saw Jamie Kennedy at the Funny Bone. There was light attendance but the show was funny and the venue was great for seeing a show. You are close to the stage if you set in the front two sections. They had food, beer and mixed drinks.

Great place to catch a comedy act. Not a lot of room allotted per table.

Enjoyed the show, but it was so packed you could hardly move.

Comedians are always good. First time food and service was amazing. Second time two weeks ago food was horrible. Ordered fries and they were burnt and greasy and cold. Reordered second time they were burnt greasy just like the first and warm to touch as if they were quickly redipped back in grease. Waitress told me it’s always that way. Third chance I ordered nachos and salsa and instead was given burnt queso and stale mix colored chips. It appears the kitchen staff was not caring this day. The $20 double shot of Jamaica me Crazy drink was good!

Liked the show was second to front row only thing is waitress didnt bring my change back. Yeah it was a couple dollars but she must assumed I was leaving her a tip. Its the principle. Bring back my change first then I decide how much I want to leave

Went to the Aries Spears Performance and it was Hilarious. They had some mic and sound issues during the warm up act. Waitors and Waitress were very active and the seating was great. No bad seat in the house. definitely will go back but they need to make sure sound, Mics, and music ques are on point to improve overall experience.

The Funny Bone was a nice place to visit. Tonights comedians were hilarious. I would visit there again.

I always have an enjoyable time here. The typically have a good lineup of comedians. I havent eaten much here, but what Ive had has been pretty good. Seating is decent. Some tables dont have the best location or viewing angles. Also, the seats are not comfortable for long periods.

The food and drinks are very expensive and the venue is kinda small (good and bad thing though). Service is great and the waiter is always walking by to refill drinks. Good thing about the venue being small is there isnt any bad seating. Even if you sit in the back you will have a great view on who ever is hosting the show. Bad thing about it being small is when its a packed house u will be side by side with other people.

I went to a Comedy Show 8/28/19 The seating is horrible. Youre sitting so close to people that youre not even with, They also seat people in front of your table. In the walk way. They definitely need A Bigger Establishment. That have deviously outgrown that location. The food is Pricey and not worth the money.

Arnez J and opening act was very funny. Food was bland, wasnt given silverware, napkins, and the menus were filthy.

Went to see Godfrey and had a great time. Had drinks and too much food! The funnel cake fries are very good, chicken tenders were decent, fries are hand cut-esque and did the job. Friend got the burger and sweet potato frys only complaint really is that the blue cheese was a dressing instead of a crumble on the burger. Stephanie at the bar made very good mixed drinks!

Well first I want to say..I love the fact its a place to see your favorite comdians for a decent price. Prices of the food and drinks are slightly high. The food isnt that Great. Youre better off eating somewhere else before or after you leave there. I dont like the fact that you have no control over where you sit. Last weekend I spent the whole show trying to look over.. and around a mans cow boy hat. Overall ..its a cool spot.

The club is nice, but their other business practices are not. I was charged a $25.88 electronic delivery fee; they just emailed the tickets. They didnt have that disclosed that Id be charged that. Thats a 25% fee on my tickets. Also, the food is expensive and leaves much to be desired. I hope someone see this and changes this ridiclious fee.However, once you get there, the staff is amazing!

My wife and I had a great time we saw J.J. Williamiamson he was GREAT!!BUT!! The food/drinks are definitely over priced, need more waiters, no draft beers, no refills on sodas you only get 2oz of soda with a bunch of ice and that’s $3.50, you have to buy a $8.00 souvenir glass to get refills, no glasses of water and a bottle of water is $3.00.This was our first time going setting was good but the 4 stars is for the show alone rating for everything else I would give it 1 star.Suggest that you eat and drink before you go.
