Free art museum! Well curated shows. Small, easy. No handicap doors (is that even legal?!) but do have a wheelchair ramp. Closed Sunday and Monday. Wish there was a better gift shop.

The Richmond Art Museum is a little hidden Gem. There are only 4 galleries but its a neat collection of art. They had many local amateur and professional artists on display. We spent 45 minutes there with a 6 year old and a 9 year old and it was the perfect amount of time for them.

My 6 year old attended one of the day camps at RAM. She says the teachers are nice and the art is fun. Shes excited she got to learn how to paint better. This year we only signed up for half days but next year were definitely going to sign up for full days! If your child is into art this is the camp for them!

My daughter has attended art camp atRAM the last two summers. She has truly had an amazing experience! She created beautiful art inspired by Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. She learns about th different mediums of art as well as the artists that used them. She is blessed to learn these techniques from talented and nurturing teachers. What a jewel!

My family loves this place. Not only do they have amazing art exhibits, they put on fantastic summer camps. My daughter just finished one up and she loved it! We will definately be sending her again, and recommend visiting RAM if youre visiting our area, or if you are a resident. Thank you Lance, Santina, April, and everyone involved in providing Richmond with art and education!

Wonderful people, wonderful place! I love that they did India this year! The story teller (Bess Sturgis) is so great at what she does, she gets all the children to tell the story with her, with their hands and imaginations. We LOVED this well-kept secret right in the middle of Richmond!
