Nice place walking early in the morning. If you want to go hiking I recommend early because not to much space for parking.

Parking can be tight and limited on the weekends, but there is a porta potty and its a great trailhead to hit Peavine.

This is one of my favorite hikes with my dog. Couple miles of trails. You can take it easy or incorporate some of the trails that take you to the top of the hills. Those trails are not that difficult either though. Not a lot of parking as it is well used. The trail has rough spots and in the spring you might get a bit muddy, but not bad. Well worth it.

One of my favorite trails in Evans Canyon. Be careful in the parking lot, do not leave anything in your car as there have been several smashed windows over the last several months. Park where your car is visible to others.

Great place for hike or bike. Know that it is all open... Meaning hot hot hot when temperatures are high. Lots of lizards seen a couple of snakes. Since there is so much trail to go off in different directions hikers and bikers arent always running into each other. A couple porta potty at trail head but no other facilities

Favorite spot for starting my mountain bike rides, if you’re visiting Reno give it a ride! I even demo’d a bike from Sierra Cyclesmith while I was trying to decide what bike to buy and they let me take it up here to try on my daily terrain

Great early and late season trail system. It gets pretty hot and exposed in the Summer. Early morning rides recommended during the hot months. Nice hidden secret...drive to the top of Kings Row and access the trails there avoiding the crowds at Keystone.

This is a very nice trail, one thing not to freak you out, if you go little bit off the main trail, especially on a very hot day, you will come across plenty of rattle snakes. Which could be dangerous or even lethal as they blend with the environment very easily. And the last thing you want to ger bitten by a rattle snake. Other than that it is very nice and safe to me.

Fantastic Reno resource. Hike, bike, run, bring the dog (but pack OUT the poop - there is no poop fairy flitting behind you to pick up the little plastic bags)

Great trail that is easy to find and access. Clear paths for walking, running, and biking. Not a whole lot of shade in this area of the hills, so be mindful of that if you choose to tackle it on hot, sunny days!

Easy access off McCarren. Keystone is not a steep trail. Meanders back and forth over a seasonal creek. Some narrow rocky sections but no long or steep grades. Links up with a number of other trails. Evidence of old time mining activity off the trail. Very little shade.

This is a great place to hike, run, or mountain bike. The trail is relatively easy, but leads to areas for a more difficult trail if you prefer that. The trail can get washed out if there is a lot of rain or snow, so either enjoy the extra level of difficulty or head on back when you get to those areas. Regardless, the trail is dog friendly, just be kind and remember to pick up your waste.

Take any path on foot for great hikes. Today I took to the bike path up to get some elevation gain. An hour in and I was feelingvit, then a steep downhill to me the with the canyon path, on to the towers then the meadow back to the done and join the connector finally to the switchback down and my car. 9.1 miles all in and a totally enjoyable day. At Keysyone, its all good for as long and difficult as you in.

Fun biking and hiking trail thats fairly easy. Was just here after a bunch of rain and snow so it was hard to walk up the canyon as there was a creek flowing through.
