While it may still go by the same name. Its location is now in front of the Aces ball stadium. So no longer on the river as it had been in the past. Despite this it is still a great place to spend some time and enjoy some ice skating. The price for entry isnt bad. And neither is the skate rental. And its new location is well located to food and nightlife amenities afterwards.
Small, choppy ice rink. Skates were more expensive than other places I’ve been, too. It was a mediocre experience. The only cool part was watching the young kids with their skating coaches show everyone else up. However, they also made it hard for everyone else to skate. Perhaps the staff should take more care to manage where ‘coaching’ is allowed, if at all.
The ice was melting on one side and had to be blocked off so it made it hard for the kids who were learning to skate. Unfortunately the warm winter we are having is the cause of the lower rating. IF the weather was colder and the ice not blocked off it would have been worth the money, but for $50 Family of 5, this will only be a rare family outing when the weather isn’t colder.
Very neat experience! Great place to bring friends or family for a cheap night with lots of fun!
Fun for the whole family. Very busy the day we went due to the winter break.
Cool location, right on the river. I use to like sitting here occasionally for 10 minutes or so to watch all the skate boarders and bmx tricksters that come out at night.
Nice family feel.
Bring your own skates if you actually know how to ice skate, their rentals are horrible
Gave out two broken skates, and just put them back in the slots. Dont go unless you want broken ankles...
