Pat the sales rep guy was awesome. Talk about great customer service. In fact the whole team was helpful. Helped me find the clubs I need without any pressure and even helped me with a putter repair. This is the place to go for all things golf.

I came in wanting to get fitted for new irons. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled with the amazing service I received. Dan got me going and was incredible in his helpfulness. We tried a bunch of irons and ended up getting down to the ones I bought. I never felt pressured or rushed and was treated honestly. I will definitely continue to shop here and can not recommend it any higher!

This golf shop is very impressive. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I bought shoes and a grip for my driver and Jake was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store for all your golfing needs.

Went in for an iron fitting in January and was greeted immediately. The gentleman who greeted me set me up with Jake E. and we were off! I gave him a run down of where I was at in my game and what results I was looking for, and a price range and had me hit many different shafts and brands. Didnt try to push anything specific or too advanced, just what I hit the best and ended up ordering a set of Mizunos. Overall excellent experience.

My recent experience was saved by the second person I asked a question of. Thankfully he was much more willing to answer my question than the first person. I wanted to get my clubs reshafted and wanted to get some basic information or how much it cost to do all of that and the first person I asked (older gentleman) said it wasnt cost effective to reshaft them because you also have to regrip the club too. Not that big of a deal I can do that. Needless to say he gave me very short answers and didnt really want to spend the time. My girlfriend was buying some shoes that were on sale (only reason we still purchased at that point) and the guys that rang us up, his name was Alex, gave me much better information and also gave me the number of the gentleman that does the work for them to get some more detailed info. I am very appreciative of his willingness to provide me with info. To the first gentleman who answered my question just humor me I dont have an interest in spending $1200 on a brand new version of my clubs.

They were reasonably busy. Regripped a couple of clubs while i waited.

Lovely store with lots of equipment. Two GC quad hitting bays. Not the best place to get fitted as they one have OEM stock shafts, but a good place to test equipment if you plan on buying off the rack. Lots of cheap used trade in clubs to browse too!

Walked in without calling ahead in hope of getting fitted for a particular Ping model. Was immediately greeted by Dan A, who answered all my questions while clarifying what club and result I was shooting for. He immediately got me on the simulator. We began with the club I thought would be best so I could see swingspeed, ball flight, and carry. Dan suggested a few other clubs to try and let the simulator results speak for themselves. Never any pressure or rush and the final decisions were mine. Couldnt be any more satisfied with the experience.

I went in looking to buy shoes a set of clubs balls and get fitted. I spent about 35 min looking for some shoes and not one person came over to help so i left without buying anything. This place really needs some training

Had a similar experience as a lot of the reviewers here unfortunately. Was in the store for about 20 minutes looking at some shoes and used clubs. From the very start, there was an employee standing 10 feet away staring directly at me. Not once did he ask if I needed help or had any questions, it was extremely obvious he was keeping close tabs on me. I left without purchasing anything because of how uncomfortable this shopping experience was. I don’t get it, if you’re that worried about theft, why don’t you hire a security guard so your employees can spend time serving customers, not stalking them?

This store has an extensive selection from many brands, and you can test out any of the clubs you are thinking of purchasing on their simulator for free. I understand some other reviewers have had poor experiences, however I believe if you simply inform one of the staff what you are looking for, they are happy to help anytime. I have shopped here for drivers, Hybrids, wedges, a bag and now irons. Evan has been the employee helping me out on all the purchases and he has been great. Very patient and has answered all my questions the best he can. I have tested at least a dozen different sets of irons on 5 different visits. No pressure to purchase from the staff and they welcome me to continue testing as long as I need before purchasing. I strongly recommend visiting this store and telling them your goals.

There is no other place in town I would go to buy golf equipment or anything else for golf. These guys are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend shopping here on a regular! Dan helped me get the irons that fit my game and was very professional. I will Definitely be back.

After trying several spots to order a fitted set of golf clubs we ended up here. We were disappointed by the other stores lack of customer service. We were hesitant to come here. We were greeted right away. Jake came up to us and offered to help. It was an added plus that my husband knows Jake.We informed Jake that we were here to purchase custom golf clubs. He suggested that my husband try several clubs before choosing one. After hitting several clubs that Jake had modified to fit my husband. My husband chose to get Callaway clubs. We purchased new longer shafts and bigger grips for the clubs. We placed our order and were informed it would be in within 7 business days.Jakes customer service was outstanding. He was happy to help my husband get a new set of custom golf clubs as he had waited 20 years to get new ones. I truly hope that Jake gets the KUDOS he so richly deserves. My husband loves his new clubs and cant wait to go golfing again and again!!I highly recommend Jake and Golf Headquarters to any golf aficionado!!

Awesome customer service. We were in a bind since the insert of my sons putter came off and he had a tournament the next day. Golf HQ got on the phone with the manufacturer and they got us a new one that day since we didnt have time to have it repaired. Entire staff is always very helpful.

Dan Garner is a true golf pro/club fitter. He spent a lot of time going through various iron options until helping me find the exact right club/brand, shaft length, loft/lie adjustment, etc. He is extremely knowldgeable and gives quick logical analysis to why specific variables in club selection will help your specific swing. He was also very polite, in spite of my less than stellar swing, and made the whole experience enjoyable and all about me and my swing. He even gave me some tips that have really helped my golf game. But most importantly, the clubs he helped me select are amazing. All of my irons hit an extra 10-15 yards and have way more backspin in the loftier irons. I will only buy clubs from Dan going forward. I’m too old at this point and know too well that a club fitter like Dan is very rare indeed.

Absolutely the best place for all a golfers needs, all of the sales associates are very attentive and truly care about getting you into the proper equipment. I highly recommend this location. Ken is my go to guy to get all my equipment needs on point! Excellent store!!

Was looking for a good pair of used golf clubs and they had a very nice selection of them not to mention the store has everything golf staff was very helpful and I did buy a brand new golf bag that was super sweet my used clubs were a set of ping Zings that were in nice shape and once again a very good price thank you so much Golf Headquarters I will be back soon

I come back home to Reno once every 2 years and spend a lot of time at Golf Headquarters getting up to date with equipment and balls. The store is always stocked with good supplies and the staff are very knowledgable and keen as mustard to give assistance with a smile - Love spending hours just wondering and talking to staff. Horrible customer service .if your not in golf attire or speak the language they treat you as if your not there .an angry bald older gentleman also follows you around scowling as if your gonna shoplift something .was thinking of spending a few grand here on christmas presents but decided otherwise after the horrible service .would not recommend to anyone .
