The turf is high quality but there are way too many lines for 7v7 soccer field size. Nothing like playing a tournament using cones to mark one full sideline and both goal boxes... And the midfield circle. That said, its good quality turf. Parking is horrible, though, and there were several drunk, until homeless men hovering around the restrooms, which made it uncomfortable for both kids and parents. Three starts for nice turf. Minus two stars for lack of parking and sketchy neighborhood.

Nice clean park. Went to a family party. If you rent it make sure its not on soccer practice day. Limited parking but really the parking situation cleared up just before all party guests showed. Lots of shade trees

Outdoor soccer field, basketball court, skybording. Really nice place and clean.Always soccer activities going on, especially on the weekend. It has all kind of business close by such as: Restaurants, auto repair, Costco. It has restrooms well maintained, and it also have lamps to play during the night. This is a public park. You can have a good time for free (:

Its a nice park when there are big events going on. Ive had several experiences where an off leash dog came after me and my dog but thankfully they were small dogs; more snacks than threats.

Pass thru this park daily to bring my daughter to school. There is always someone cleaning up which is good. There are some people who appear to reside in the parking lot but they have never bothered me.

There isnt enough parking space, other than that, gated park is a good spot to bring kids to enjoy their extra curriculums.

This is a community park that is bordered by a school located in a somewhat questionable (Redwood City could do so much more in this area but has always treated this area as their red-headed stepchild) neighborhood that always for many years struggled to rise above poverty. The surrounding community is proud and amazing in its diversity and it shows.I lived in Redwood City for 23 years and I grew up there. I love it and it will always be close to my heart. I no longer live there but I do visit quite a bit. This park has started to somewhat decline in appearance and that is sad because it had really become a very nice place to go. Many activities to enjoy and the facilities were very nice at one point in time. I hope Redwood City takes this decline and does something about it and doesnt keep it out-of-site-out-of-mind!Come on keep Redwood City beautiful in every corner and in every way!

The lights were off when we got there in the middle on the week. My friend Flaco was crying, because he came to visit and it was the only day we can play soccer. Never coming to this park again.
