A good place for salat specially for Eid ul Fitra and Eid ul Azha. Many entertainment programs are organised for kids.

This place is much more than just a mosque. It’s more of a community center with a restaurant and school and more. The mosque is just a part of the building. Very nice place. The mosque has a wonderful Imam that is very well educated and extremely a wonderful man. The building manager is a wonderful Gentleman too.However and sadly the whole place is a huge day care center for kids of all ages running around no stop screaming loudly and truly destroying the place with no supervision at all. I don’t only blame such parents but the board that runs the place is as responsible for allowing such unacceptable behavior.The other major issue is the parking violations. On Friday the illegal parking is as around the building in addition to parking illegally in other businesses parking with total disregard to the the laws and rules. They are yet to stop these people from parking illegally and blocking the entrance of emergency vehicles in case of emergency. This has been going on fir years and such people that have no respect to others are allowed to continue to do that.We all need to respect the rules and respect the city and building codes. We can’t be a productive members of society if we allow such behavior.

Great masjid. Very friendly and open to Muslims of all races. They have a large prayer area and womens area. Ample bathroom stalls and clean. They also have a cafe inside. The gym area all serves as an auditorium and weve held events there. The audio isnt great especially if you have a lot of kids, but theyre very accommodating. They have a lot of activities and events for the community also, Muslim and non-Muslim. If youre interested in learning about Islam, this is a really great place to find out more.

Amazing facility for the Muslim community. They have free health checkup camps every month and are able to accommodate people without insurance which is very helpful to the needy. During Ramadan, they have free iftar everyday and also have suhoor during the last ten nights. If you are planning to come for the last ten nights of qiyam, it can get busy especially the night of 27th ramadan, it is absolutely jampacked. Eid prayers are also pretty busy, they had as many as 4 prayers for Eid ul fitr. So its in your best interest to arrive early and carry prayer mats on these busy days. Rest of the times, its not super crowded.

MAPS is a wonderful mosque and community center with a mission of peace making and justice building in the Puget Sound area. They are welcoming of visitors and do a lot of outreach into the community. They are a thriving religious community who are dedicated in charity, good works and living an ethic of love. I am always grateful when Im able to visit!

I fell in love with it the first time I visited.. The mosque is very big clean and organized. It has Gyms, a little restaurant and class rooms. It offers many community services to connect with others and the people were very kind respectful and welcoming.

I went for a thanksguving dinner I thought about it before I went should I go because my car has so many car problems. Then I said I am going I want to be and see my brothers and sisters of the islamic faith and on the way I was praying and asking God while I was driving to please let me make it thier.plus the mosque is so beautiful..i just wish I could meet someone of the Muslim faith here and make a good friend.

Really grateful to have such a large mosque in the area. I wasnt sure to expect with mosque in this country compared with what Im used to (Im from Chechnya originally and we have more Turkish style mosque) but the imam is wonderful, the cafe makes great Arab coffee and Chema has great clothes for sale upstairs and is super helpful. If you are on the edge about going here, just do it

It is a very beautiful building with a large prayer hall and multiple classrooms for classes. The layout is very simple and there is lots of room for shoes and doing wudu. The only problem is parking but for Friday prayers a few of the businesses open their parking lots up for use. You can also park on the street in front of the mosque. Also traffic coming out of prayers is tight and can take some time to speed up.

This is a very important place for me and our community around Puget sound area. A lot of activistivies year around. Open to everyone who likes to know about Islam and muslims. There are people who can give a very good understanding of Islam and explain about misconceptions about Islam. I will Definitely recommend everyone to this place who have misconceptions about Islam. @smart bargain. I totally agree. Its just like any masjid across America. You have to be Arab or Indo pak to be on the board. If you arent then you arent taken seriously just like any masjid in America. What I want everyone to take notice of is this main thing. What If a white American Muslim opened up a masjid in Egypt? The Imam and or Khatib was White American only. And the board of trustees was white American? How would the local Egyptian people feel?I imagine they will feel pretty low. All across America it is like this. Ive been Muslim for 27 years now and its always been this way. Ive personally seen alot of reverts to Islam leave Islam because they never have been included or made to feel welcome inside the masjid in our own country! Ive seen sectism, nationalism, and racism so much in the Islamic community.What are my recommendations? Reach out to the reverts of this country. Some will say, but we moved from Pakistan or wherever and we are Americans now! That might be true by definition. But can I move to Pakistan being a white American and then call myself pakistani or Indonesian? I couldnt even buy land or open a business in both countries much less BE a Pakistani or Indonesian. I just want Muslims to understand what is happening from our point of view.As far as the Imam, I love him for the sake of Allah. The facility is always clean. The security guard is a joke. I suggest hiring someone that actually knows about security and how to carry himself other than to stare at peoples wives. Alot of us reverts lose our families, it isnt easy for us at all. Please...please step it up.And as far as the women men mixing...my goodness...sometimes its like being at a singles retreat. We reverts have plenty to offer and would love to be welcomed into the community and included in what happens in our communities. I hope this reaches people well so that changes will happen now or that at minimum will be turned to the right direction. Important to understand, this doesnt happen in just maps, this happens in every single masjid in the west.

Its a place of worship for Muslim people. I found large gatherings in last Jummuha. I was accompanied by my wife. My son & daughter in law from Mississauga, Canada joined us.

Awesome Masjid. Amenities are good. But I didnt like the way that women are coming for the prayer. As a muslim sister they should ware properly dresses. And no one care about that I think.

Many programs and a great place for kids to enjoy themselves while learning about their deen. Not necessarily the most conservative masjid, as there is not complete separation between the mens and womens prayer halls, but great place to pray, take classes, and have an enjoyable time. (Great Ramadan programs as well!)
