Good place. Green. You can play softball, volley ball etc. children and pet friendly.

Fantastic place to play baseball/softball and volleyball

The park is small but very clean, beautiful. There is a playground for kids and very nice place to have a rest for adults. There you can find interesting flowers and trees

The park is very nice, I come here often to charge my electric car, however, and only half of the capacity is functional, one of the cables was destroyed around October of last year and still has not been replaced by the city of raleigh

Went to the dog park here, and I really liked it. Theres an appropriately-sized group of folks in attendance (not over crowded), and its a good size for the dogs to run around or chase down a tennis ball (of which there are many in the park) or just to wander. Loved it!

Love coming here to play volleyball.

A very nice and peaceful place to enjoy a walk or play Baseball and/or Volleyball. It has good parking space too. Recommend for a family or alone walk and relaxing time.

A nice park. I took my dog to the fenced in dog park here. It has a few benches where you can sit and a lot of room for the dogs to run around in.

Cool park.Plenty of sand for kids to run around barefoot. Several swing sets, a few things to climb and slide.Dog park for pup lovers.A really cool shaded garden area behind the building. Stroller/wheelchair accessible.There were volleyball courts as well.

Quiet, Clean, Lots of parking, and very spacious. Great place for the kids, , and just to sit an unwind!! Caught a softball game, or a volleyball match. Lets no forget about their Community Center on those really hot day. They also offer summer programs. Overall a Safe staffed with great people and a pleasure to be apart of.

Its a cute park. There is a gazebo that you can reach after walking through garden. There are several different types of flowers labeled for your enjoyment. Near by is a gated dog park to bring your furry friends. And up the ways are both a tennis court and a baseball field to enjoy a little sporting with friends. Plus there are several pokemon go stops at this location.

Due to COVID-19, playground is closed. Pets area is open.

Big community park in the heart of college basketball country has multiple tennis, baseball, and volleyball facilities but no hoops. I guess the park managers are worried about black people showing up.

Its a city park. Baseball fields, sand volleyball courts. Small playground - a few 1970s? era swings, small toddler slide and such. They do have handicapped accessible restrooms which is nice.

Good place for volleyball with six courts, as well as two tennis courts, a baseball field, and a dog park.

Wonderfull park with great sand volleyball courts and a dog park.

Lights stay on until midnight. There is around 6 volleyball courts and a few tennis courts. This is our go to place when you are trying to play volleyball after dark. There is also a shower to wash off the sand when you are done. Sometimes it can feel a little shady but I never really felt scared. I would highly recommend it though. The sand feels good and the nets are pretty nice. So Id grab some friends and go and play.

Too LOUD... I DONT CARE... if I go to a quiet place DONT BE TOO LOUD HAVE SOME MANNERS. Went there to get peace and I didnt and it wasnt even the African American people it was the Indians. Out of all people you should know... Didnt even have a BALL but was in the baseball field being loud. REALLY THO????

Very nice and clean dog park. A lot of space, trees and shade.I was happy to see the rule “no food and toys”, but unfortunately there were about 30 tennis balls and other toys laying around.

Beach volleyball, tennis courts, ball field, dog run, and more amenities have not explored them all. Give this place a shot. Bring own water for dogs at dog run. Two different entrances if Wade Ave entrance too busy.

Nice park for all things except the playground. The playground is fairly pitiful and extremely hot in the sun as there is no shade.

First time at this place. Nice place to have small walk and family outing.

Dog friendly. Low-key distractions. Plenty of room to move around. Short walk in the woods with the creek is fun. Practice sits and downs around players. Urban Agility on the benches. The yard area with the gazebo is a peaceful walk.

We went to the Jaycee Park to use the recycling center. Its worth it to us because of how well organized and numerous the containers are. We had very large boxes to recycle and this place made it so easy to recycle them. The only thing we couldnt recycle was styrofoam.

Pretty park with outdoor playground, dog run, sports fields, tennis and volleyball courts, and shaded garden (with gazebo and walking paths). We came for the playground, which is outdated but was still fun for our young toddler. The only downfall is that there isnt much shade over the playground equipment. After playing, we enjoyed walking on the paths of the horticultural garden area. Plenty of benches are nice, too.

I love Jaycee! I take my dog to the dog run here all the time. One thing though - the dog park really needs some street lights. As winter approaches, all of us are still going to need to get our dogs exercise!

Love the dog park, especially love the many volleyball nets. Great place for practice for a lot of people. Dogs love it too, as long as theyre tied up and you clean up after them nobody else cares.

Hard to get into from Wade avenue. I felt safe in the park. Police regularly patrol. Well lit and well maintained.

My dog is easy to please, any fenced in area will do though at the time of our visit there werent any water facilities for the dogs.

Another great Raleigh Park! This park has wonderful physicalities. Sports playing fields, indoor gym and parking.

Really coming up here. New dog park and a few dirt trails to wonder along in the woods.

It has a decent size dog park, sadly there’s no separated zones for small dogs and big dogs, otherwise it could be more utilized. This is the only fenced dog park near my apartment in downtown Raleigh, and I have to drive to here, wish there’s more urban dog parks in downtown.
