Great experience! I am a Raleigh native and took my in-laws on this tour to show them around. The trikkes are a hit! Super fun to ride and easy to get the hang out. Todd, our guide, was great and had a lot of good insight that was very interesting. Highly recommended!

Loved our scooter tour of Oakwood today. Our guide Todd was extremely knowledgeable and the scooters were a ton of fun to ride. Ive lived in Raleigh for 27 years and learned a lot about its past and present while on the tour, so this tour is great for locals and visitors alike.

Yes, better than Segways! These machines are delightful to drive. Expert training in 5 minutes. The tour was Historic Oakwood and very very insightful. Headphones so ya can hear the guide, but still hear traffic and talk to someone. Highly recommend this experience!

Very well organised . Our guide was fantastic. He was very patient go ensure all the people are comfortable with riding.Over all it was fun! I would recommend people to take this ride.

Fantastic Adventure!So much fun and very informative. Although we did look like mall cops on the Segways! Will definitely do this again. Thanks to the entire staff at Triangle Glides for such a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Did the 2-hour tour, a 2-hour tour.... with a friend from out of town and this was a great way to see historic Raleigh. We did the trolley with other friends, but its a bit impersonal and a little fast. You get an up close tour of historic Raleigh on a very cool transport! Best of all, up hill or down doesnt matter because the Segway is doing all the work. The tour staff and shop staff were extremely helpful and made sure you were comfortable on the machine. I will do this again.

Highly recommend taking one of the Segway tours- fantastic way to learn a little history of Raleigh by listening via headset to our tour guide while gliding through the downtown area. Super easy to learn, fun way to spend a few hours... well worth it!!

Lots of fun riding segways, if you want the most out of the tour stay away from the back of the line or you might get a little static with the guides radio

Not great, bad, pretty bad...heck it was horrible.Ever stand in line at a bank or amusement park? Waiting, waiting. Not fun right? But made slightly tolerable by ones ability to move stiff legs and stretch. Now imagine standing in exactly the same spot for an hour...sorry, stretching not allowed. Thats a one hour Segway ride.I admit, it was really cool and fun to mess around with the Segway during the instruction and intro. It would almost have been worth the money to just fool around with the thing in an obstacle training course for 15 minutes and call it a day.And instructors -- one was nice, one was not so much. She reminded me of an EST instructor...did you get IT?The tour itself would have been great on foot or bicycle. The tour guide was clever and knowledgeable making it very interesting.The Segway however was torture. When it was over I ran (did not walk) for the exit.

I purchased 3 SUP Living Social coupons for my sons. They are teenage boys . Enough Said. They got their appointment times mixed up and when I called to try to reschedule the owner proceeded to tell me that it was , essentially not her problem,because an email reminder was sent , which clearly stated that if you did not call to cancel, you would forfeit the coupon. I believe that as a business owner, especially ,in light of the fact that the business has money in hand, that they would want to ensure a repeat customer and for the sake of good customer service allow a reschedule. That was not to be. I find this to be extremely uncustomer friendly. I cant imagine that as a business owner, you would not want to delight the customer. I work in Corporate America, and I assure you, my company would be willing to work with our customers to make things right. I was astounded at her level of intractability.Very saddened by this expereince

We did a tour of raleigh on segways. It was our first time on segways, and it was incredible! They were very patient in making sure we all knew how to navigate on the segways, gave us brief instructions, and then we were out the door. I would love to do this again.

I purchased a Groupon deal in January that expires at the end of March. My tour had to be postponed twice due to inclement weather. It is February 20th and there are no 90 minute tours available before the 3/22/15 expiration date. The owner of the company told me that only 60 minute tours are available on weekend before the expiration date even though the Groupon was for a 90 minute tour or take one during the week. I work during the week and they do not have evening tours available so this was also not an option. I called back a second day and he told me that if my tour was cancelled because of the weather they would be happy to extend my expiration date by a month. This option was not communicated to me on my initial call to reschedule. I was super appreciative of this flexibility! It was, however, NOT offered to me when I originally called...hence the reason for this review. I was overjoyed with this new arrangement and was prepared to delete this review as soon as my new tour was scheduled.I just received an email from Todd stating that because I expressed my negative experience on this review, I am no longer welcome to take a tour and should get a refund from Groupon. Their responses to the negative reviews on this site are more of the same. Argumentative and inflexible. I thought the customer is always right and an apology should be offered as well as a way to make it right. I guess their strategy is to publicly belittle their customers. I know what happened and I know what was communicated to me. Defend yourself, call me abusive, libelous and accuse me of distorted perception as much as you like. Quite the PR strategy. I will be calling Groupon to get my money back and telling everyone I know that they should NOT waste their money on at Triangle Glides.
