The staff is amazing and the golf carts are A++. I’m just a photographer so I can’t comment on the course itself but it sure does photograph well!

Courtney, the Director of Catering and Events is absolutely AMAZING! I honestly cannot brag about or thank her enough for the amazing job she did on my wedding! She is quick to respond to any and all questions and she makes an absolutely beautiful presentation. Ill be sure to use her again for all of my future events! She is a lifesaver!

Good food but automatic outrageous service charge on all meals in addition to the expected tip. I would gladly give gratuity but this ridiculous service charge is in addition to membership fees. Please change this.

If you want a neighborhood where your close mindedness can feel at ease, then Wakefield Plantation is the neighborhood for you!

Amazing golf course. Very challenging from all tees. I played it from the blues and it kicked my butt! The course is always in impeccable condition. The clubhouse is awesome and the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome. To notch facility and highly recommend it. Wish I could afford to be a member here :(

Very nice golf course, fairways are wide which is good because if you hit it in the rough you are going to have a hard time to make a par. A lot of sand bunkers but not too many. Greens are in great condition and not too small.

Way to expensive, they rush you when your group is well within a 4:15 round. Greens are super freaking fast. I for one want to enjoy my round and for that money take my time to shoot well. Hard to do when not only the employees tell you every four holes that youre a half hole behind... literally if youre not hitting as soon as the group ahead steps off the green your playing slow...but also when members behind you are getting absolutely rude be your on a tee box (par 3) and theres people on the green the members behind you cant see but yells at you to pick it up. No thanks. Ill take my $100 somewhere else and play twice and take 4.5 hrs and have fun

I am so proud of my decision to celebrate my wedding reception this July at the Country Club at Wakefield Plantation! I knew about the Country Club (formerly TPC at Wakefield Plantation) after living in the area for multiple years – but thought there would be no way I could have my event at such a beautiful location without being a member of the club. This was NOT the case, and I was ecstatic to learn that the event room is open to non-members as well.The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation is a hidden gem! Courtney, the Events Coordinator, gave me such confidence and earned my trust when I explained I wasn’t very good at this “wedding planning” thing, and she let me know that she can help me “as much or as little as I wanted.” I chose the former, and Courtney made my event so memorable! She truly went above and beyond, and she and her team really made it their priority to put on a wonderful event for my family and friends. I was not required to set up anything the day before, and the room was put together so beautifully. Courtney has my full confidence, and I have never experienced better service!I chose the Country Club at Wakefield because I did not want to deal with additional vendors or renting of material: the club has its own gourmet kitchen and the package that is put together is COMPLETE. The food at the club cannot be beat! I had close to 90 guests attend the reception in the Williamsburg Room, and everyone said that food was the best they’ve ever had at an event. I had one guest who was allergic to garlic, and I learned that they were able to serve an entire menu that I chose without garlic, and it somehow was WAY better than if it had garlic in it! When they say gourmet chefs, they really mean it!Courtney also helped guide our timeline, which inevitably changed as wedding timelines do! She worked with my photographers to help get the best photos (sunset photos on the 18th green!) and put on a wonderful sparkler send-off! She worked flawlessly with my few vendors (florist, DJ, and bakery), and made sure to attend to the guests she was serving. The staff was so friendly and understanding; I loved every second!I want to spread the word about the Country Club at Wakefield Plantation! What an elegant location with fantastic staff!

Stunning community! We have been here 15 years and despite the growth the community is well planned and maintained! The TPC club is amazing we are golf members and the club house was recently redone as was the new exercise facility and pool tennis area! Best club around in my opinion! Wonderful programs for kids (camps, entertainment, golf and tennis programs!) and adults (social events, food events, live music at the pool, sports bar) alike!

Stunningly beautiful country club restaurant with sweeping views of the 18th hole. Felt like I was on the verandah at Tara...so gorgeous! Food and service were excellent also. Lovely visit.

There are a few select restaurants that are Good Eats. Overall it is a small Plaza and theres not much to say about it.

The value of membership here is incredible. This place has an 18 hole Hale Irwin golf course, a brand new golf learning center with state of the art technology, a new fitness center, a new kids club, tennis courts, a short 9 hole golf course and 3 swimming pools. Not only that, members here even have access to all of the McConnell Golf Properties across the Carolinas including Raleigh Country Club and Treyburn in Durham.
