The vet we loved so much and felt loved our pet just the same, left about 2 years ago. Since then the vets there only seem to care about making you spend as much money as they can. Our senior dog has had bi-lateral ACL repairs and since developed severe arthritis. The vet refused to refill her pain meds unless we came in for a full work up each time, regardless of the fact we would be there again in a few months for her annual exam (which they end up charging us almost a thousand for each time). At this point we just need to keep her comfortable but thats not their priority.

I really appreciate everyone of the staff and Vets at North Hills Animal Hospital. The vet is so friendly, and the staff are wonderful. The vet you can tell really really cares about the animals he treats. Also, their doggy day care is great.

Their archaic and inconvenient client-facing procedures are laughable -- particularly how difficult they make it to get flea medication from third-party retailers.In 2020, most clinics send & receive fax requests for basic medications from reputable online retailers -- they do not (i.e., Boulevard Animal Clinic & North Hills AH; both owned by Dr. Lora Evans).As a result, after my last appointment I told the attending vet of my plans to set-up a subscription with a 3rd party retailer. I recently learned I need to pick up a physical Rx and mail it in –– as if it were the 1900s! Should I arrange for a horse and buggy as well?This review deals with a highly inefficient process and rigamarole that a client has to deal with -- something Dr. Evans needs to bring up to 2020 standards. It is highly inconvenient and if youre seeking a clinic that has modernized systems/processes -- they miss the mark on this account.Lastly, I dont care to hear insufficient excuses as to why you do it. The reason is clear, however, when 75% of vets in the area dont make clients jump through hoops -- its unacceptable and poor judgement to continue. Were not building rocket ships here -- its flea medication.Otherwise, nothing else to note regarding services given the team in general is friendly and accommodating.

Would highly recommend this vet office. Dr Livaudais in particular has been wonderful and shown such compassion and given such attention to us while we worked through diagnosing and dealing with our sick fur baby. Can’t say enough great things about our whole experience there.

The staff and facility are very very nice. They actually listened to what I said and did not rush me. They did not try to run a bunch of tests just to get our money (so many animal hospitals tend to do this). I called a few places and they were by far the most reasonable in price. Highly recommend this hospital and will go back if I ever have to.

We have been taking our baby here almost a year. Absolutely love the staff & Vet. The annual appointment is very thorough and I felt there was time spent to really get to know our dog--who sat in the Vets lap and got petted most of the time! I get email reminders about necessary visits which makes it easy to keep things up to date.

Do not take dog here.Vet took growth off dogs head. Deep long cut that we were told should have had stitches . The vet glued the site shut. He said if it became infected put hydrogen peroxide on it . By day 2, the site was oozing with infection. We put hydrogen peroxide on it as instructed. The wound opened. We checked the internet and found out glued wounds should not be wet or they would open. Seems like a vet should know this.So now we had a sick dog who had to be seen in an emergency clinic and she took longer to heal. We will never use this place again.

My pup Beowulf had a great time. The staff took great care of him and enjoyed playing with him themselves.Reasonably priced as well, despite my short notice and long trip.

I lost my best friend Tobby a few month back. And I just want to take the time to thank the staff for everything ESPECIALLY Kate. for what she did for us it was very nice of her.Also such a very nice environment!

First visit seemed very thorough. Called when I actually NEEDED my dog seen, large growth in mouth interfering with eating and potentially breathing, and Sidney actually said, well theres an Emergency hospital down the street if its really an emergency we are booked with back to back appointments today . WTH....isnt North Hills an animal hospital? And wouldnt it be logical to work an animal (established client mind you) in with something of this nature!?! So they can be the nicest people on the planet but if they wont help your pet when you truly need it, theyre worthless.

Picked up my daughters boyfriends dog and she had a great time.

Dr. Livaudais is amazing. North Hills Animal Hospital is fortunate to have him. He is calm, patient and amazing with our dog, Dexter. Weve followed him from his previous office in Cary and it was hard to leave an office my puppy was the second patient ever in 1983... But Dr. Livaudais made the decision easier.

Amazing facilities and staff. Clean, welcoming, and everyone truly loves animals. My dog got great care, cannot recommend enough!

This facility has improved over the time I have been bringing my pets here. The Drs and staff are caring and take great care of my pets, the layout is nice and seems very comfortable, a lot like home!

Me and my English Bulldog followed Dr. Livaudias here from his old clinic. We couldnt be happier with staff and especially doggie daycare. They offer half day rates and packages. Yesterday, I got video of our pup making a new friend with a boxer pup. Too cute! Cant wait to try the outdoor doggie pool this summer. Vet care is also outstanding. Wed follow Dr. L anywhere.

Pricey but great people and convenient location.

Our Veterinarian has been taking care of our pooches for 15 years. North Hills treats us all like family. Cant recommend more highly.
