I totally dug the ambience of this establishment. There was no cover charge after midnight so I found that to be awesome. The drink options were both original and delicious. The musicians were so talented that their performances gave me goosebumps and made me have a further appreciation for jazz instrumentation. I look forward to revisiting this experience.

Great vibes! The jazz band that played tonight was great. The bar selection was extensive and the bartenders were excellent. All employees we came in contact with was very friendly and efficient. 4 stars only because of how crammed it was in there, there was very little seating but two full bars lol (though I suppose it adds to the ambience). Great place, we will come again.

Bring a place like this to Myrtle Beach,! I have always been a massive fan of speakeasies and have done some traveling to jazz bars as far away as Chicago, and this place is amazing! The crowd in the back could be a bit more respectful of the musicians (they’re quite loud when the lead is speaking to the crowd) but the musicians play their hearts out and the service is great! My wife and I went Saturday night. The inside does have a neat 20s feel when you go to the back side seating area. We each got drinks while we were there but they were 10$ a piece to start which is pretty high for one drink, so we enjoyed those and left . We also were looking for some type of food but none was available here.

Upscale speakeasy style place for good cocktails and live music. One thing that sets them apart is their drink menu. It lists a variety of different cocktails, some classic and some house specialties, along with a short description. As someone that likes to try new things but doesnt know the name of a lot of drinks it makes things way easier.

Seating is hard to get hold to as they only have 2 chairs per table and most come in swarms... so chairs are removed from other tables which are left without seats. Wish they would have additional fold chairs for those needing additional chairs to the tables. ButMusic is enjoyable and service is great. Enjoy the atmosphere overall

Went there a few weeks ago with my sister and had a great time. Its a 5 dollar cover with some great drink and live music to play. This is for those who are looking to get out but sick of 20 something acting a mess. Something more relaxed and you can hear each talk no more shouting

My wife and I went out for our wedding anniversary May 25. We were told that C GRACE is the place to go. We had a wonderful time! Cal was our server, he was exceptional!! Nice spot, although fairly small. However the mixed drinks are very good and reasonably priced. C Grace has a similar speakeasy feel as Watts and Ward, but is a significantly better value.

Definitely a germ in Releigh. For those who love jazz and live performance this is definitely a must go. 10/10 would recommend and pretty sure this is an ideal place for dating.

Love this place! Good atmosphere! I wish they have more tables to sit! Also, they will need to adjust the volume so we can hear! Speaker system they use bose powered speaker but I barely hear when someone started talking through the mic. Also, piano volume is so low....

The atmosphere here is great. Bartenders are professional and well taught! Im guessing they have been to some type of schooling. Drinks were strong, well mixed and taste awesome. Loved the music....could have stayed longer but was the beginning of our date night out!

This place is beautiful! I love the scenery and the service was great. The decor in the bathroom was picture worthy and clean. The jazz players were impeccable, I truly enjoyed the music thank you all for making my birthday special. This was a first for me, but definitely not a last.

This is an absolute gem of a place! There is not one thing to complain about. There arent many true jazz clubs anywhere, but this is just like stepping back in time. The music was superb (stand up bass is my all time favourite instrument), the atmosphere was super chill, and the bee pollen drink I had was super yummy. This was the perfect place to end the night of my 40th birthday. I will certainly return. Just recently moved to Raleigh, and this is by far, my favorite place Ive been to.

Everythings always good at Sea Grace but I miss the manager Baron he was a great bartender great everything when it came to that bar in dealing with people and I come there from out of town and I always expect to see Baron and hes not there now so thats a let down for me but the club in the music and the people are all great and bartenders waiters full spectrum very nice spot excellent spot

The venue has 2 bars and the service is pretty quick. They do not serve any form of food, but the drink prices are very reasonable. We went when there was a jazz act and they were very cool and mellow. This is a good place to hang out, drink with friends, chill out to dope music and enjoy yourself.

As swanky as it gets on Glenwood.. this place has got the charm, the decor, and the atmosphere in spades! Lounges that look like they come out of the Great Gatsby with chandeliers and red velvet curtains. Live music is often jazz and always good! Cocktail list changes every few months, and theres always a few that I really enjoy. Keep me coming back for more :)

The absolute best bar experience Ive had by a long shot. Get one with egg yolk for a truly unique experience and come early. The place really gets hopping after the love jazz cranks up around 9

A wonderful place for a date night- from bar seating and craft cocktails (a tip from our waiter- try creations from the first page of the menu as they are bars specialty) to comfy sofas on the back room. Also worthy of mentioning is the place right upstairs, very cozy atmosphere, styled in somewhat middle eastern key. Either place is a cool hangout any day of the week.

Fantastic underground jazz bar type place. Reminds me of something from that show Marvelous Maisel from way back in the day. The band was great when we went and they have all kinds of fancy drinks. Highly recommend.

Went on a Sunday night and waited at the door for five minutes. Place was empty except for a couple of people at the bar. Left after no hostess showed up and the bartender refused to make eye contact.

Always a nice calm relaxing environment. Bartenders know how to make good drinks and are willing to help you cultivate a drink specific to your tasting. The owner is super nice. The Jazz area downstairs is more upbeat but not super crazy where you feel overwhelmed.

Mellow underground bar. It has the speak easy feel and hand crafted cocktails.This is my favorite bar in Raleigh.Regular musical performances give this bar a hip feel that you cant find anywhere else on Glenwood.This is where the grown-ups drink.

Excellent cocktails!The place started to get really crowded when the live band was settling, on this saturday evening and it suddenly went from a amazing evening to a ruined one. It was all loud noises of people talking, so loud that the music was not really audible and not enjoyable anymore. Would definitely recommend the place though, but would advise to go during the week to avoid this.

Took my girlfriend here for here birthday on Jan 14th, and the band that played that night was great. Been telling my friends about it. Drinks are a little above average in price, but good. Lots of old fashioned drinks on the menu that are very good. Its a small speakeasy prohibition style place that provides a nice experience down to the period style outfits for staff. Ill definitely go again.

We arrived 10 minutes before the live music started on Saturday night. We were able to find a good table and order our drinks before it got super crowded. The music was good and lively. Around 9:45 the place got slammed with some rowdy people. It was extremely loud but the servers kept coming around and refilling our waters and taking our drink orders. The drinks were strong and delicious. Soon the rowdy crowd left and it continued being a pleasant evening. The ambiance is so neat. Low lighting and vintage feeling. I honestly hate how there were some people dressed in t shirts and baseball hats. The place calls for nicer clothing. We had fun and plan on visiting again.

From out of town. Was looking for a chill, classy place with some great cocktails. This place def fit the bill amongst all the frat parties and clubs surrounding it.

My friends and I love this place. Very classy and relaxed. Not overcrowded with rowdy youngins. Great location. The cocktails are wonderful and the bartenders really know what they are doing. I can tell that quality training is a priority here. Always a favorite!

The music was great the atmosphere was good it was full of people. The drinks were kind of pricey but they were good service was good and the crowd was awesome. Went upstairs to the flamingo music the drinks were really really good the atmosphere was amazing the music was really good. A good place where Trinity Crown casual place or if you felt like dressing up a little you can. You can sit outside if you feel like people watching but definitely a really nice atmosphere.

Visited while in town for a introductory weekend to Raleigh. C Grace is an underground speakeasy with great inventive drinks along with well-executed classics. Saw Gary Gelbs quartet, which was amazing, and had great seats. Highly recommend for fans of great drinks and great jazz.
