My son and I went today and spent an hour on the range. Customer service was excellent. Well stock facility. Prices very reasonable. Talked to one gentleman about new sights and he was very helpful and knew what I was looking for. I would have given five stars. The only item was no distance marking on the range. Other than that very cool shop. Will return.

Just got back into shooting. The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are great, and I can always get a lane whenever I visit. My only issue is I would like to have distance markers somewhere for reference.

Small store with good people. That said the range has kicked back lead fragments and I had to dig a piece of lead out of my forehead with tweezers. It was a one off thing, but the staff said that this is not uncommon. Love the location, but I probably wont use the range again.

Very nice place to shoot. Purchased a brand new Sig Sauer p320 compact a few days back and needed somewhere to shoot. Very easy signup and safety test for range. Believe it’s 10 bucks an hour. Brought my own range allowed ammunition. Will be back soon. No Head shots Allowed

I came with a group of 3 on a packed Sunday and we were still able to get into the indoor range within one hour. Despite it not being their normal procedure for a weekend, an agent came and showed us how to use a gun and shoot. He was very informative and helpful. We all left confident about what we learned and planning our trip to return! I cannot wait to attend some classes and learn more! Great first experience!

Service is acceptable but not great. The women there are MUCH nicer than the men. I was greeted but didn’t feel like they valued their customers. Very tiny, tiny selection of guns.

Worked with Ebony on some basic gun safety and firing pointers. She was thorough and kept things simple and straight forward. Ebony also had great pointers on firing stance, aiming with the sights and relaxing those shoulders! She went over ammo jamming situations and how they occur, also how to prevent them from happening. Range safety was very good and I had a really good overall experience. It got a little busy in there at one point but everyone was professional and calm. Looking forward to returning!

Honestly everyone Ive dealt with here has been class. They are also extremely responsive when you need anything. My go-to range and FFL in Raleigh.

Inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I called ahead of time to see if they had a holster for a specific gun. The lady on the phone without going to check told me they had several options starting at 29.99 and up. I drove all the way there stood there for for 10 minutes till dude told me to go get the gun out of the car so we could check it for size. Come Back In stand there for 20 minutes while he lets at least 10 people go in front of me to serve them. Told me to hang on and he would help me when he got done. He ended up telling me to go look myself. I could not find one holster for my gun when I asked the lady that I talked to on the phone for help she could not find any either and put a holster in my hand for a different gun that she claimed might fit. Walked off as I was talking to her. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Unprofessional. i had a great time my first visit, But it seems like the store only caters first time customers.My second visit I had to wait almost 2 hours while watching multiple first time customers get to shoot before me, and I had a membership card. The crazy thing is that I never got to shoot, dont waste almost 2 hours of a person’s time. If you have no lanes just say so.

Tall light skin dude with loop earrings is biased. As a member he has been the only person I find trouble out of when I go. I dont know how many times he told me theres no headshots and Im a member already, never have I done a headshot there. This same guy then keeps asking me if I have ear and Eye protection while Im wearing it. Total waste of my time for this unprofessional behavior. Ill take my money elsewhere. Tried to support a black business but then theyre funny acting against their own.

Fantastic facility! Ebony is an amazing salesperson and teacher that is knowledgeable about weapons and the benefits of each of them. I got my membership here 2 months ago and its a short distance away, the staff is very friendly and informative. The range is what it is, a range. But its the only place I will go shoot in the triangle. I attended the conceal carry course this past Saturday and it was more than I expected. Keith was a wonderful teacher. Hes inspired me to want to continue with firearm training to the next level and beyond. I highly recommend the eagle 1 program.

Best experience ever.Went to Eagle 1 with my family, to give my three girls the chance to shoot a handgun for the first time in their life.Made an appointment with Kevin, who was absolutely amazing. He showed us how to handle the guns and he was really patient as we had to translate some of the instructions to our girls (English is not our first language).He took us inside the shooting range to sense the smells, sounds and surroundings.We got to shoot a .22 caliber and a 9mm.Kevin was really supportive and was present during our entire stay and he was ready to answer any questions.I will definitely go back to Eagle 1 when Im in Raleigh, NC and I will definitely recommend anyone interested in guns to go to Eagle 1.

Good range to shoot at. It is small and tends to book up fast. We finally bought the family pass simply to avoid wasting time waiting. Lines are a bit cramped but...its a range. Rates are decent.

Upsold 9mm Wolf ammo for $20 a box and it wasn’t even wolf ammo they swapped it with tuul ammo never buying from them again and I would suggest opening your ammo before you leave the store

All of my future firearms will be purchased through Eagle1 no questions. Myself as well as my wife have both taken our NC CWP class with them. As a firearms instructor I have to say this is the best range you could ever go to for buying firearms accessories, buying guns and shooting. This was my first time visiting (midday on a Tuesday) and there werent any lines etc. They have a great selection of guns, holsters, classes etc. I forgot my Ruger SR9c at the house so I shot with their CZ-P10 C which was super fun! Clean store, nice lobby music, and decent prices. They also have an outdoor range for rifles, shotguns etc.Edit: 11.6.2017 (10th time here) brought my Ruger SR9-C with me today to throw some lead down range. Employees are always friendly and ready to answer any questions you have. Picking up a Mossy 500 Stand-Off from Eagle 1 in two days!! Can’t wait! AMAZING PRICES ON EVERYTHING!!

I stopped by this week, id never shot at a indoor range before. I took a range saftey course with miss ebony and she was absoutley amazing!! She was able to give me some great pointers to practice on. Ill most deff be going back. Its close for anybody in the raleigh area and their price range is great!!

I recently moved to Raleigh about 7 months ago and needed to find a new range (I also wanted to pursue my CCW since my old one from PA was going to expire). My lady and I walked into this place and instantly loved it. The staff members are friendly and helpful in a way that I havent seen at a firearms store before. The shooting range itself was clean, large, and well maintained. And the CCW course that I took (concealed firearms course) was fantastic. Your instructor is a police chief! He was friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful. He actively wants you to succeed because you are doing things the right way by taking the course. If youre in the area, I highly recommend stopping in. And if you want to possibly conceal carry, Id recommend (for any level shooter) to take the course they offer. 8 hours on a Saturday, and you get the certificate you need to move forward. A+ in my book.

My husband and I went in and wanted to have a lane to shoot our guns. We read over the website many times and all it said were the hours of the range and the price. We go in with my pistol and our ar-15, which no where on the site it said we couldn’t shoot, and the man behind the desk asked what was in the box and we said what it was and he said it was just a pistol and shotgun range. Which that in itself was fine, but no where on the website said that and we were a little upset that we drove all the way there to not be able to do anything. We then called back to see if we could use the outdoor range for the ar-15 and they said we could but then told us the range was closed certain days, which AGAIN was not on the website. Needs some fixing up and more info

Cool little gun shop and range in the middle of Raleigh. The inside of the store itself it very well kept and clean but its about what you would expect for a small brick-and-mortar store at the end of a strip mall like area. Theres not a lot to choose from in regards to weapons, ammo, and accessories but it has a decent enough selection.Took 2 stars off because they could really use some investment or improvement to their indoor range. Its a decent range if youre just in the area and want to put a few rounds down range but for any sort of extensive training or practice I would say go to another range. This range had terrible sound dampening and it looked like they had just glued those foam sound boards to a concrete wall. I had to wear high rated ear muffs with plugs under them just to get the noise down to a safe level (something I dont have to do at other nicer indoor ranges). The sound of gunshots can even be heard out in the parking lot so the sound dampening is really something that needs to be looked at so their range customers dont potentially damage their ears over time. They also need to set up a better backstop. Currently it looks like the backstop is just a flat concrete wall with some dampening material covering it. The range actually has a rule that you can fire at the head of a silhouette target because it can cause the bullet to shatter and ricochet shrapnel back at the lanes. This is a huge safety issue that most ranges avoid by having a sloped/slanted backstop with better dampening materials. I actually had a few pieces of shrapnel hit me in the legs and arms from other lanes while I was there (and these people were just shooting center-mass on their targets). Eagle 1 needs to really look into updating their range at some point. If nothing else, at least a better backstop would get me to come back more often. I dont like having to worry about flying shrapnel because of the backstop.Finally, there are no range officers on the range itself (at least when I was there). They have cameras on each lane that they can watch from the front of the store. And as far as I can tell thats the extent of their range safety. There is no one back there to help with anyones questions or to make sure that new shooters are being safe. I saw one person in a lane flag the entire row of lanes when he turned with a loaded gun in his hand to talk to someone next to him. That would never happen at a range with actual officers on deck.Overall its a nice place to go if you live close by and want to support local business. But the constraints of the range and the unease of the setup of the range itself will probably keep me going to other ranges for now.

The gun range is unsafe. They never checked to see if we had a permit for our weapons, they didn’t check none of our weapons to see if they were cleared or what type of weapon we had. Only 4 lanes were open because other customers kept shooting the clip off that held the paper up to shoot at. Everybody was just everywhere. People walking out of the range with weapons in there hands and we were nervous because we couldn’t tell if they were loaded or not. Me and my battles came in to shoot. All the females left out but the guys stayed. I was uncomfortable and it was not a safe place. Even a couple of the guys in the lane kept looking over there shoulders worried if someone was coming up behind them.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! TRUST ME

I can only speak to their staff and picking up guns from this location. I have not used their range, etc... On ordering guns and picking up there, they are awesome. Painless, and they offered some great advice on storage, cleaning, and safety when I asked.

I had never shot a gun or have ever been around guns growing up so going into a shooting range for the first time I was alittle nervous and didn’t know what to expect. I was immediately greeted by the store employees and they had me read through some simple paper work and before I knew it I was in the range and being shown the ropes of how everything works and operates. Eric (the employee) went through every possible piece of advice and instruction and made me feel confident in my ability to hold a fire arm an operate it with confidence. I’m so glad I came here and I will definitely be back for some more! Thank you guys so much

I dont expect to enter a gun range/shop and get a warm fuzzy feeling, but I do expect to be treated respectfully and not be made to feel like I am an interruption and that they are being bothered by my asking basic questions. Too many other options available. If you want a curt, macho experience, then this is the place for you.

Its an indoor gun range and LGS. Lighting isnt great, nor is ventilation, but its close and convenient. Their prices are a little higher than market, but I havent checked to see if theyre flexible.

I recently had a private lesson with Eric of eagle one. He catered the lesson toward my experience level(beginner).His instruction was very clear and easy to follow.
