Played the par 3 with my wife, 4, 7, and 13 yo and everyone had a good time. Pace of play wasnt an issue and people took their time. Its a place to have fun with family and not go looking for the course record. Good place to practice too. I definitely recommend for what they offer.

Came here for the first time with my son. I wish I had know about this place sooner.9 hole, par 3 course. $10 for both of us. They gave us balls to play with. It was perfect.Theres a driving range, lots of people can hit. Its so chill too.Theres a mini-golf next to a Pelicans Snowballs. You chill here for hours, have a great time and not break the bank. The guys working were so nice. I love this spot. This is now on my go-to list.

Great value for the money. Nice folks.I rented a driver and hit a small bucket of balls. Good time. Low cost. Also mini golf with the kids. Course is basic and not all that well kept, but it was cheap and we still had a lot of fun. Will come back for sure.

Went here today to play a round of mini golf with the family as the usual go-to places are amusement facilities and are temporarily closed due to Covid-19. This place has all things golf- Driving range, Mini-golf, and 9 hole Par 27. While this is an older facility (27 years), the driving range offered covered and non covered spaces. The covered spaces also had fans. The mini golf course was cute (Hatteras lighthouse, Chapel), and was a good mix of simpler holes as well as trick holes. The putting greens were worse for the wear and could use an update, but not so bad that it impacted the play. The super weird thing is that the mini golf course was only 14 holes. We got a good laugh out of that when hole 14 ate our ball :) We paid $18 for 2 adults, 1 senior and 1 child- so I think the value was there even with only playing 14 holes. There is plenty of space here to socially distance. The staff was friendly and wearing a face covering, though most patrons were not. However the facility is outdoors and there is ample outside space. Thanks for your support in keeping NC healthy and open

Had all my irons adjusted for lofts and lie. Tom Miller with AA Golf Clubs at 401 Par Golf did an OUTSTANDING job. Used the lie board with impact tape and adjusted the clubs on the driving range. Been playing golf for 56 years which equates to clubs being adjusted often and Tom was extremely knowledgeable and adjusted my irons perfectly.Club fitting is the only avenue to better golf. Thanks Tom

Can hit on grass. Good prices. Great beer. Ridiculously convenient hours. Close drive from downtown Raleigh. Decent sand trap to practice out of as well.

Best driving range in the area for your buck. Their staff is extremely friendly and welcoming to newcomers. The range is stocked with Wilson rangeballs that seems pretty new. They also have many targets to practice your long and short game. As a bonus, their par 3 9-hole course is great for working on your short game and getting the feel for how a game of golf is played. PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS. Again, the staff and awesome pricing will keep me coming back for a long time, guarenteed.

Played mini golf here. The course was worn (turf peeling and completely missing in spots) and dated. The design didnt have a fun factor whatsoever, and there was not even a sliver of shade. And to top it all off, one of the workers was wearing a Trump mask that he would take down immediately after helping customers (indoors), which only helps limit the transmission of COVID-19 so much. Nearby patrons (under the canopy near the fans) werent wearing masks. Deapite what other reviewers said, this place isnt quaint or a pleasant throwback; its dated and hasnt been maintained. Pick any other miniature golf venue, and enjoy yourself.

I write this review as someone who worked in the golf industry for a decade, play collegiate golf, and golfed on some of the worlds top courses. For a certain type of golf nut this place is one of a kind. From the sno cone stand to putt putt to shopping cart targets on the range, this place is AWESOME. It’s like your favorite dive bar (they have good beer by the way) meets the driving range from Tin Cup. I’ll admit it is eclectic, rough around the edges, and an acquired taste but I love it. Great date spot as well if you like sno cones and a different vibe.

Nice place for short game practice. Five dollars for 9 holes but you can pay $8 and play 27 holes. If it rains the fairways are swampy.

It’s a super fun place to just drive some golf balls out. Cheap prices for a bucket and the regular size bucket was perfect for me to do for an hour.

401 has a driving range, miniature golf, and 9-hole par 3. Super family friendly so its a great place to expose kids to golf. The conditions arent the best and some of the Par 3 holes can get muddy. That said, none of it bothered me; you feel like you get more than your moneys worth. Driving range can get crowded. Theres a Pelicans SnoBalls sharing the parking lot too.

Literally the best place in North Carolina for the beginner golfer to learn the fundamentals and the advanced golfer to fine tune skills. I signed up for the golf school ( very affordable and beginner friendly group classes, if you are real bad ...you will not be embarrassed trust me) with a goal of routinely breaking 100. In less than two months of classes with Mike and Pat , I now regularly shoot in the low 90s and even have rounds in the 80s. (Best is 86).

Great course to work on your game. Driving range to hit your one. And you can walk just a few hundred yards to play the entire nine holes. No need for a bag just bring your PW 9 and putter. Three clubs and you’re good to go

As a new golfer this place is a great place to learn and get comfortable with the game. The driving range does exactly what you expect it to do, but the freedom of the par 3 is phenomenal. The nights during the week there have been few people playing the course so others have decided to set base in front of the green and start chipping away, another lady took a driver to the course for a bit of solitude shooting. I simply didnt want to play through and just wandered around the course creating shots, aiming for the incorrect greens to make it longer. The membership is well worth the price.

The course is not why you come here; its all about the people. The golf pro, Mike Sullivan is very personable and easy to work with. The golf smith will fit your clubs for next to nothing. I just had a set fitted and since he only had to bend one club, the charge was only $10.

Took the kids here to play mini-golf. We were calling it, The mini golf course that time forgot. Old, outdated, run down, tons of mosquitos. We literally played 4, maybe 5 holes and left. It was unbearable. All the holes that were supposed to have water were all dried up. It was sad. They should really just shut it down and put it out of its misery. It was also my kids first exposure to mini golf. I told them how fun it was and then had to eat my words. All that being said, the driving range and golf course looked nice, and the girl at the counter was friendly. If they fixed up the mini golf we would definitely check it out

Good for a quick 9 holes golf or a go on the range. Be aware, if it has rained recently this gets extremely boggy. The greens also arent the best around and vary wildly.

Very friendly people. One guy (the courses teaching instructor at the time) took time to help me with my putting and wedge shots ten minutes from close. I need to say, that like another reviewer, this is where I learned how to play. I started when I was around fifteen years old, and still make sure to play at least three times a year at thirty years old. A lot of my friends do not like it because it isnt shiny and pretty. It is however like the woman you marry. At first you think you can do better, and you stay with her just long enough to wonder how you could live without her.Dont let looks talk you out of having a good time here. It is true they could do some things to spruce the place up a bit, but it would lose some charm in the process. Its run by folks that love the game and the people who play it, not money and trying to keep up with the Joness.

OK let me just say I loved this range and course. As a beginner golfer I am very slow and still learning how to hit the ball every time..lol, much less hitting it to the right spot. I also brought my girlfriend who has never golfed and together we make a ..lets say very poor golfing group, however the coarse was perfect b/c its the perfect size very quiet in my opinion and overall the perfect conditions to golf. also very private so you dont feel like a fool when you miss your ball 3 times in a row.It was just a great date that made our week perfect. and all of the staff was very nice on top of all of that.
