I just started coming here for my oil paints and canvases. I had been going to Micheal’s since it was closer. But I decided to try them out and I will be a loyal customer now. They were super friendly to talk to and very helpful in picking out the right tools since I’m new to the oil paint world (i had been using acrylic). Their prices are also fantastic!

I called before I drove the hr from work to get to the store to get a mat cut which is usually done same day. I wanted to ensure someone would be there. When I arrived, the store looked empty. I found the one employee who was stocking shelves, who assured me that someone was in framing and working and asked me to wait patiently. I waited 20 minutes for someone to come help me even though NO OTHER CUSTOMERS were in the store. When an associate showed up, she looked at me blankly only to say the framers had left, we cant help you come back tomorrow. Why didnt you say this before I drove an hr, or why did you have me wait 20 minutes. The response I got was sorry, when they told you to come in we didnt know you were coming this far. Umm, but you knew a framer wasnt there. She threw up her hands and said sorry, nothing i can do. I asked if I could leave the item and pick it up when it was done. Sorry, maam nothing we can do just come back. Why would I come back to a store that doesnt respect their customers?

Huge store with great selection of supplies. I don’t do art, but if you do, then you won’t be disappointed. I came in looking for Pentel drafting pencils. Happy to see these here. A little pricey, but their 10% off discount card helps! Cashier was also friendly. Will return.

An update on 6/26. Tom called me back and processed a refund of the cutting policy. Both his prompt reaction and the refund are greatly appreciated. I added one star. Again, I want to stress the fact that this was the first time my experience was negative. Tom is particularly helpful, but all staff generally is. I must have hit the wrong day.------------------------------------------------------------------I never thought I would do this because I have been a faithful customer for years: great place, great product, very helpful people. I honestly feel guilty about posting this. On Sunday June 21 I had a less than stellar experience. I was picking up a custom cut framing glass. By email I was quoted $x for entry level glass and $y Museum quality; when I called I was told there was another option between the two (in terms of quality). Thats what I went with, but to my surprise, when it was time to pay over the phone the quotes did not include the cutting; can you sell a custom cut piece of glass without cutting it? The quotes should include the full amount. When I picked the glass up I spent a good 45 minutes in the store; not once any of the employees offered to help; admittedly unusual, since in my past experiences they always seem eager to help). Last, but not least,at checkout I was using cash and the total was $21.03; when I asked if I could pick 3 cents from the Leave a penny, take a penny jar, I was told twice No, you cant. At this point I may as well shop online; the products are the same and the prices are the same or lower.

1st tome in there. Everyone is SUPER helpful, knowledgeable. They have everything you could possibly need and stuff you didnt know you needed. Hig quality supplies at great prices.

One of my favorite art stores. Great prices and you can usually find what you need without having to order it online. They are also great with the online orders too!

Went in for some acrylic markers and was a little lost but the staff were very helpful with assistance and recommendations that I felt a lot better about my decisions. Would highly recommend taking a trip here if you need anything artistic from photo frames all the way down to charcoal!

I cannot compliment the Raleigh Jerrys enough. During this pandemic, I have been struggling to cope. I have started watercolors again, but needed a lot of advice on what things I needed in order to do larger pieces. Shannon had the patience of Job. It has been a pleasure to do business at Jerrys Artarama with Tom and all his crew. Tom has put together a team that are always there to help with any questions about materials , and will be of assistance to help carry the heavier things to your vehicle if need be.

Will no longer purchase anything from this place. I have medical issues. They would not sell to me because i wouldnt cover my nose. Sorry that I have medical issues. You are the only place that I have visited that has treated me this way.

This place is amazing! I dont know a huge amount about art, but they probably have way more options for the amateur artist than you would ever need.

Good selection of art supplies, a little light on sketch book selection— just a whole bunch of a few brands. I’d rather see more unique and high quality selection rather than just inexpensive big brand drawing paper and sketch books.

This is my go to store for specialty supplies. Staff is always helpful and if they dont know they find someone who does. The rewards card is great because its helpful on prices especially on those days you want to splurge.

I have been going to Jerry’s for several years, and I have not found a wider selection of fine arts supplies in the Triangle area. The staff have always greeted me when I walk in the door and been helpful if they see me looking lost in an aisle of supplies. They take great care in wrapping delicate supplies (pastel sticks, big sheets of paper, etc) and I have had wonderful experiences getting items professionally framed.

Wish they had a little more ceramic supplies, but otherwise great and very friendly staff!

The manager, Tom Dowd, is incredible. I had a small issue with a purchase of an expensive set of pastel pencils (that was really an issue with the manufacturer) with incorrect pencils included in the set. I contacted the store via email and Tom responded quickly. He resolved the issue immediately. This was one of the BEST experiences Ive had in working with any management to resolve a challenge.

I came in to buy a large number of canvas wrapping bars for my employer and Sunshine was super helpful! She literally loaded my cart up for me. I was so impressed. Unfortunately I got the wrong product (totally my fault) and had to come back and return them. I didnt catch the name of the lovely ladies that assisted me in my return and purchase, but its safe to say they have a very friendly staff that provides solid customer service. I will be returning for personal projects in the future!

Great selection of art supplies, they run really good sales, and the staff is super nice and helpful. I come here for just about all my art needs. They also still carry copic markers in store!! (And they have added a lot of new, neat products, like posca markers, liquitex paint markers, and multiple options of florescent paints.)10/2020 Update: I recently dropped by, and they are doing a great job of adhering to pandemic protocols. Everyone must wear masks at all times, employees are careful to maintain physical distance, and they offer curbside pickup.

This place is a crafters wonderland. This store had ever thing you need for your adult coloring books, painting projects, and even a framing dept. I highly recommend Jerrys
