It was a very comfortable and welcoming experience. This was my first visit to a gallery in Providence, and I did not know what to expect. I attended the opening of Allison Biancos A Curious Tide at Cade Tompkins Projects. Ms. Tompkins greeted me at the door and welcomed me in. The staff was courteous and attentive. There was a large crowd, but the layout allowed room to explore without getting in the way of people taking in the art. There was a great spread of refreshments and hors doeuvres for the opening. I will visit again for other exhibitions.
