Great neighborhood establishment were you can kick back and enjoy yourself. Was there on a Saturday night and it was Latin Night playing great music. Very lively crowd having a good time. Wings are by far the best Ive eaten. Had the cheeseburger and fries and was very impressed on how juicy the Burger was and how tasty the fries were. Didnt have a chance to try the BBQ out but will be back to try other menu items. Owners are great.

The food, atmosphere, service is exceptional and your night will truly one to rememer! Kim the server/bartender is fun and down to earth. The management has done a wonderful job to make this a great restaurant/bar!

Excellent from the well kept establishment to the friendly staff and oh so tasty food.

I went for lunch and the food was phenomenal. We got a calamari appetizer that was cooked perfectly, and I got the salmon BLT which had really good bread and toppings. My only complaint was we had a non-waiter waiting us which resulted in slow service. I assume thats not usually going to be the case. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

It has a pretty decent crowed. The DJ that plays on Friday (He) doesn’t know the intervals when switching to another song will always leave you without rhythm.

The food was great I ate here on consecutive nights, the service couldve been better since the salad came out after the entree and the toy cop at the door could try not treating individuals like suspects. I would return the next time Im out there but Ill probably take my food to go if this guy is there. I dont like to be made uncomfortable especially somewhere Im spending my money. Did I mention the food was great tho (avoid sitting in certain spots at the bar the ceiling leaks I believe its from the cooling system)

The service was so bad and slow. The food was cold and there was barely anyone in the restaurant. We were there for 2 hours. We should have paid for our appetizers and left. At least I enjoyed the company I was with.

I was traveling for work and Rocky’s was recommended for dinner as it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Everything was excellent from the friendly service to the scrumptious food! I had a glass of Sangria and the fish tacos, they were both very delicious! I would highly recommend Rocky’s and will return the next time I’m in the area. Thanks for a great dinner!

Best bar I have been to. Havent been here in a while due to work obligations. But George is a awesome owner. Ask for Rodrigo or Kelly, they make some mean good strong drinks. And they have the best steak sandwich I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend, will be back there soon.

First time customer.Placed order for delivery to Northbrook.Ordered a salad and a burger. Order arrived withing the hour. Salad had no dressing nor was on the side. So the salad was dry. A SALAD NEEDS ITS DRESSING.!!!!!Now the burger. It was called the HANGOVER BURGER.. The pretzel bun was hard as rock!! I think I hurt my mouth trying to bite it. The egg was all over the burger, inside,outside, on top of the bun and bottom of the bun and yolk outside the burger. Order jalapenos inside and I got only 1 damn jalapeno slice,ring, or what ever you wanna call it. And it was outside the burger. Not inside the burger but almost somewhere inside the fries!!!..The meat was ok. Now the fries where super overcooked.Paid almost 36 dollars + tip..Thats the most expensive,nasty salad and burger ever!!!!!!!!!!!

Kim served on our visit. The place looks sad, but dont let that deter you. The pizzas we ordered were fantastic, and the chicken tacos were killer. Eat them quickly though. The soft shells become soggy on the cutting board they are served atop and fall apart otherwise.

I am mesmerised about the delicately preparation of the food, not only the menu but the CUALITY..... the customer service IS A 5 * ..everything here is a paradise in Wheeling.

If I could give zero stars, I would. However, in order to share my experience with you, I had to select at least 1 star. We made reservations (table for 6) about 2 weeks before tonights event. Upon our arrival, we were told our reservation had to be cancelled because the “promoter overbooked”. We were then told to wait and allow them to figure things out. After about an hour of waiting, given the runaround, witnessing an elder man bust his face after falling and rushed out of peoples walkway instead of given proper medical attention, we gave up! Did I mention the elders blood was quickly wiped with paper towels and not cleaned and disinfected. People allowed to just continue to pass through. Overall, service was horrible and we will not be returning nor do we recommend to anyone after our experience.

I liked the old floor plan better with the pool table in the back and the dance floor and DJ booth in the room up front. But I see why theyve changed it up and added video gaming. All in all a nice place with a typical bar menu that serves pretty good food. They have drink specials on certain nights. The house special Vander Slammer is a force, it will make a mess of even the strongest.

Upon entrance the place was pretty nice. The atmosphere was quiet enough to hear my coworkers discussing random stuff, and the beer was good. I only give two stars because right now Im fuming because the waitress apparently forgot to order my food, or the food was just taking more than an hour to make (more than enough time for a 10 piece chicken wings). I probably should have said something because the people at my table who ordered 5 minutes before me got their food right away. 2 stars because they didnt make a fuss and charge me for the food that I never received.

We went on St Patricks Day and youd think a lot more people would have showed up but at 9:30 p.m. it was still pretty dead. They had a great big dance floor and looked like there could be a some dancing happening but I dont think we stayed late enough for that.

Dunno what happened here?Used to close the place 3 nights a week, ate half my meals here.Lifes happened, its been a while.... flash forward to today.20 minutes to get noticed, order taken. 30 minutes later, soup AND dinner delivered to the table simultaneously, appetizer never made the ticket??? Needed to get our own silverware, waitress altered the order (bed of fries for rice), and my date (my 3y.o daughter) even noticed and laughed at her giant water cup to my tiny soda. Neither my Kiev or the baked French onion were what they used to be. Its a shame, I know its been a while, but the change was incredible. Ya, the walls are prettier, but I miss the old vanders.

The food, drinks and music are good. Only thing I didn’t like was the service. Our bartender Jennifer charged us $68 for 3 beers then comes back saying she acciendly charged us for pitchers. How!??? It was clearly 3 beers. And the gay guy in at the bar was such a doosh. Everyone I asked him for water or a napkin he wouldn’t even response to my please or thank you, just walk away

Great food! The wings are the best in Chicago. Bartenders are always right there! The remodel looks great, it looks like a whole new place inside with the same awesome people that go there and some new ones as well! If u need food or a drink, or just a friend, Rocky Vanders is the place to go!

Michigan wants you Rockys!!!! What a fabulous experience. The Ribs were absolutely amazing, the broasted chicken plentiful and the nachos were the best. If I ever come back to Illinois, this will be my first stop. Thanks Rockys. The Fish Bowl was out of this world.
