Kentons park is spacious, with lots of action usually by the kids big toy area. But elsewhere its quiet, with lots of places to sitninbthe grass or play catch with a dog. I love getting coffee in Kenton and then walking to this park.

A small neighborhood park in Kenton, one block away from a lively block with cafés and restaurants, as well as the MAX station. The park has great green spaces, a baseball court and a playground; pretty quiet and chill. Worth a stroll if you are in the neighborhood.

Cute and fun but theres lots of homeless some smoke right by the playground.. Shady and nice for hot summers though street parking only so sometimes thats a pain. Otherwise big and nice but the bathroom is ghetto as f. Theres no door on the bathroom stall so pinch it

Kenton park is really nice and has a lot to offer for people of all ages. Its clean and well kept. I think the park needs more picnic tables for families.

Grew up round here. First park my daughter ever visited, shes 18 now... Beautiful Park, hilly for kids to roll down, playgrounds... 10 stars

Sizable urban park with playground, courts, ball field and open space. Bring your own chairs because there arent a lot of picnic tables. Our Natalie gives the playground a thumbs up!

I have always liked the vibe here to walk my dog or just sit and relax under the trees. Now they have a super cool brand new barrier free playground.

New fav park! Great for crawlers, climbers, flyers, & sliders. Close to Kenton main drag if you want to combine a yummy meal out & park play. Or tons of beautiful space to toss a blanket down and have a picnic. Room to roam.

Its not a bad place to go. Not a lot of cop or ranger action here. Plus it says its closed after like midnight but i.have never had a problem going there any time of night. There is an outlet there by the bathrooms. I go there to charge my phone. The park hasnt been turning it off but i heard they have in the past. If they do that then i would only give this place 3 stars. Until then i give it 4.

Am originally from the Upstate New York area y currently living in Georgia outside of Atlanta, am out here visiting 1 of my sisters here in Portland y just enjoying my time out here Have never been out this way except out 2 Seattle, this park they call Kenton is very beautiful with the field y trees surroundings just absolutely beautiful Its very access 2 the local train y around Kenton Its absolutely awesome y gr8 4 anyone of all ages includes dogs, give a highly recommendation this park they call Kenton 4 anyone who is out here visiting or 2 locals - Danny S

The park is well made with spongy material where the children play. There are trees all around the boarder of the playground so that there is shade when needed. It is a great park!

Huge, beautiful park with a nice, new playground with that bouncy, recycled rubber ground cover. Plenty of open green space and a sports area too. Its nestled in a neighborhood, so not too much traffic driving by where the kids are playing. Definitely a plus for many reasons. We visited in the spring and enjoyed all the beautiful, old trees lining the park; the spring green leaves mixed in with the evergreens close to sunset was stunning. There appears to be a water feature near the playground as well, probably turned on in the summer.

Love the water effects on hot days and the slides and swings afterward to dry off! Free lunch at the park was amazing this summer and made it easy to get the family out of the house and having fun outside together!

Great park, nice trail, but lots of dogs off leash. Its not an off-leash park but people dont seem to care. Nice little water park for kids, new playground equipment. Very clean.

I ride through the park regularly. Bathrooms - really important to me - are only open about 4 to 6 months of the year - May to October (or so).

They updated this park with great play structures! Perfect for families, dog walks, softball games, 4th of July or holiday festivities! Really a great park.

Nice place to chill and bring the lil ones. Personally I use Kenton park to play basketball but its a very well kept park.

Have loved this park since I was a child, they recently upgraded the play structure and its awesome. Now I take my own children and they LOVE it. They have have so much fun

This is a wonderful park with lots of neighborly friendly people and lots of kuds there to play with!

Had my RV broken in to and the person argued with me about it not being his as he tried locking me out while he ate my food. It took the police almost 20 minutes to arrive even after informing I took a in loaded weapon of the person and had them held on the ground at gunpoint. The officer even said not the best place to go after dark. I agree!!

I never get tired of visiting Kenton Park. Its not too big but seems to have room for all sorts of folks. This past summer I watched part of an adult softball game, marveled at the skill of some boys at soccer practice, met a couple of very interesting homeless people, and never got bored of peoples interactions with their dogs. A great place to go

Beautiful park. A large play area for children and the baseball field sees alot of adult softball and mushball action. I only gave it three stars because there arent many picnic tables for a park of that size, especially near the baseball diamond and childrens play area. I think theres only a total of three, one in between and two on the paved area next to the play structure. Parking is also a challenge. Its street parking on a busy road or you can go around the block and try to find a space on the residential streets. It makes access difficult for those with mobility challenges. But its still a favorite park to gather with family or alone with a blanket and a book. Its very spacious and well maintained.

New and improved playground for the kidos. Turf grass obstacle course it males you feel like Americas next ninja warrior.

One of the best parks Ive ever been to. They have everything from large playing fields to toys for the kids. Trail is a plus.

Beautiful park

Nice, open green space in the city. Rather muddy in the wetter months, but there is a new play area for kids that is no longer muddy and has a bouncy matting for cushioning if someone falls.. Dog friendly park, but not up on the playground equipment play area. 2 softball fields. There are 2 restrooms and a water fountain. Currently neither are available.The park could use more lighting at night. There are several garbage cans to make it easy for people to dispose of their garbage, but it seems like a few more wouldnt hurt.This park has a lot of potential. The extreme muddiness and lack of designated dog area are things I would love to see resolved. Its a park to be enjoyed by all people and their kids (furry ones too).

Never really realized this was more than a skate park lol. I LOVED IT! Try exploring it...I know you cant see anything but the skate park from the road but if you go back and turn off powelland take that entrance it has a dog park and everything! So much to offer! A full section for horseshoes,bridges to watch ducks,large trail to walk around, playground,and even a Japanese garden inside the garden! very nice park sad that they dont have better signage for it because its an amazing park that looks like its just a skate park to the majority of the people driving by..

Beautiful park marred by incredibly inconsiderate / oblivious dog owners that let their dogs run wild. Pretty much every time I walk through, I am approached by an off leash dog with no owner nearby. My dog is super reactive and has a history of violence towards other dogs - seems very unfair that we cant enjoy the foliage while obeying the very clear leash laws.

Nice urban park. Sometimes ghetto parties leave lots of trash but it gets picked up by the city the next day

Playground is completely redone and is great. portoand has redone many parks this past year and is another great example. Kids are able to play with their imagination for all ages.

Kenton park really turns me on. I go there regularly to smoke my bubble and get some action. There is always people there who fill my bubble and get me off. I was thinking I should probably live there.

Large. Several fields for different sports with an average sized play structure for the kids. The roads surrounding are busy so definitely keepan eye on kids.

It has a little splash pad with buckets that dump on you. Playground equipment is large and I frequently join the children running up and down it as I pretend to be the Lava Monster in her Castle that tickles anyone she catches. Also has a large field with a hill that the children like rolling down. And lots of trees. Play equipment is generally in shade.
