One of the best parks I have ever visited in my life. It was so alluring and peaceful. It’s so big that even one day is not enough for you to completely explore every inch of the park . It great place for weekend getaways with children. A great place to relieve yourself in the ever busy City

Pretty park with fantastic views of the bridge. I initially went some years ago while visiting the area because theyd used the big cement pilings that holds the bridge as the entrance to the library tv show and one of the socks were used in a grimm episode. Now Ive moved nearby and I bring out of town friends here for a visit.

This beautiful bridge is a sight to see. It has been used for weddings and also contains a stage for special events. I believe the St. Johns bridge is the tallest bridge in Portland that you can drive or walk across.

Cathedral Park is a great place to remind yourself of what makes Portland special. Views of the river, multiple vantage points to take in the glory of the metalworkers art above, easy access to wander around the St Johns neighborhood, and (if youre braver than me) access to walk across the bridge). Wander the edges and find things like the rain garden at the Water Pollution Control Laboratory, and fragments of the foundation of the first ever softwood plywood factory. Ive visited for events like the sorely missed Trek In The Park performances, but visiting when it isnt prime time are likely to be even more special.

Gorgeous area and park. On the water, where some people were in it, but there were warnings not to. Still a beautiful area with a larger than life bridge. There was a wedding going on and it looked like a very nice ceremony. The park is far bigger than I expected so there’s room for every one!

Such a beautiful park! It’s naturally separated into 2 levels with the Lower level being a good place to play with your pups. On the other side of the Willamette there are tall tree-filled hills which really complete the scenery on a sunny day. It’s my favorite place to admire fall!

Cathedral Park is an absolute gem. Dont be surprised if you see large family picnics, lots of dogs, giant bubbles and weddings all in one day. If you go later in the evening or early morning you may also have a chance to say hello to some of our neighbors that dont have homes. The views of the bridge are spectacular and its a good location for birdwatching and river gazing as well.

One of the many hidden gems of Portland, this well maintained park is no only under the north end of the st Johns bridge, the park goes right down to the waters if the Willamette river, and beyond the edge with a pedestrian dock . Watch people or boats of all sizes go too and fro. Also get up close and personal with the architecture of a truly iconic landmark

St. Johns Bridge is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley and a beautiful sight of engineering to behold. The concrete pillars that resemble arches in a cathedral, make the park a popular place for engagement photos.Theres also a public piano beneath the bridge so if youre lucky, music may accompany bridge and river views.

This park puts Colorado parks to shame! We came to visit on a Sunday afternoon before the sun went down. It is gorgeous. Water, trees, leaves, bridge, hills and bubbles! I bet this would be a great place for a picnic. Only downfall was there was a lot of photographers taking family photos, wedding photos... You name it. Maybe it was the time of day or just my luck but I could barely snag a photo for myself due to the many photographers. I would still highly recommend checking this place out.

Great place to launch a boat or just enjoy the park. Everyone likes taking pictures of the gorgeous Saint Johns bridge! I dont know his name but theres a gentleman that blows giant bubbles in the huge grassy park for all the kids and couples.
