One of the absolute best theaters I have had the pleasure of attending. Truly a hidden treasure which I highly recommend to all! A Christmas Carol is a classic but the lights, music, performers, sound- absolutely everything- kept the old tale enthralling and mesmerized! I look forward to many more productions! Great job everyone!!!

We took the family here for the first time to see A Christmas Carol. There was a 70 year span between oldest and youngest attendee in our family. All enjoyed the show very much. Lots of music and some non-traditional elements kept the show lively and interesting. We appreciated the creative use of the intimate space, converted from a former church. I recommend this show and would see others here based on this experience.

Excellent facility. Street parking. Really nice bathrooms. Free beer and wine. No it a bad seat in the house. Their Christmas show was amazing. Super talented actors. All live music played by the actors. Intense, fun, and tugs at the heart strings. It would be too much for 10 and under. Would definitely see it again! Worth the price for sure.

Long time attendee of The Christmas Carol put on by ACT theater in Seattle. We decided to see a local show for some variety this year. All I can say is wow. Wow wow wow, what an amazing group of actors and such a delightful atmosphere. Truly one of, if not THE, best Carols Ive seen. We were all driving home in the car talking about how great it was and how its a new family tradition!Bravo!

Lovely little intimate theater space in an old church. The company puts on about four Productions a year and then other companies also use the space at times. Utilizing strong local talent & great staging, they really do some interesting things!!

Recently renovated building has improved the experience of seeing great local theater. Parking is a bit of a pain in the neighborhood, but a school parking lot a couple of blocks away works okay. The theater produces world class plays in an intimate venue. A must see venue!

Just saw Well at Portland Playhouse it was poigniant and hard....and beautiful and funny. Allison Mickelson was lovely, she executed Lisas story so well people thought she was her. Jennifer Lanier and the rest of the cast served as great emotion touch points for the Lisa character. Jennifer helped the audience with humor and honesty.
