Always an interesting place to experience live theatre. Saw their production of Jump and was impressed by the performance and the performers. The venue is “funky” and parking sucks, but the A & B Street Car lines are close by. There is also a significant presence of homeless people in the neighborhood so be careful when walking back to your car later in the evening.

All except one show per season are in English. Every show is unique and many times taken from an existing story but rewritten to reflect current issues or its a rolling premier. Always an amazing experience!

Milagro Theater is simply wonderful. They consistently deliver meaningful works with first class acting, direction, costuming, and set and sound design. In addition to the plays produced, they also offer a series of free events called Tertulia: Art & Conversation, bringing Latino artists from many disciplines into an intimate setting.Productions at Milagro are always thought provoking, as well as entertaining. They are on colorful, witty, and moving.

I had a wonderful experience at the Milagro. The performers were exceptionally charismatic and cared for the play they were performing. (A reimagining of Charles Dickens a christmas Carol) overall a wonderful experience and Im glad to have been able to enjoy this bilingual theater.

What a wonderful little theater I never knew existed! Plays here are in Spanish but they put up subtitles so us English speakers know what is going on.

Epic!! I went and saw Oedipus El Rey, and let me say, I wish I had more thumbs (but because of evolution) I only have two, and this production gets both of them, enthusiastically! The sound and music, made the hair on the back of my neck stand up! The acting was spot on; NAILED IT! I have been to a few productions at other places in p-town and I would put this theatre against any other production in I have seen in Portland! Yes, it was that good! I must admit, I was a bit skeptical because they are a smaller show; but they have honed their craft! Kudos folks!!
