My wife and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary here recently in September. It was amazing to see a movie on the big screen again, the sound is spectacular and laser 4K is the best! We had the fresh halibut flown in from Alaska and it was delicious of course. We also had many mixed drinks and even a bottle of champagne while we were watching a movie! We had a nice big bucket of ice and even got some upgrades for free from the gracious host and owner. This is the most spectacular movie experience you will ever get to have! why not get out of your house and go see an awesome movie and have some five-star top chef style food? I highly recommend...so much fun!! :)

I cant rate this place any higher and thats upsetting. Its easily an above the bar experience, luxury and comfort. The picture is done with lazer projectors so its crisp and vibrant like buying the newest TV available with the best movie format. Beautiful surroundings and food. The food! You can taste the freshness and quality in each bite, the seafood is perfectly moist, the veggies have soaked up the flavor, the pizza straight up blew my mind, and the apple pie melted perfectly in our mouths. I cant believe that I got to watch my favorite movie in the entire world in the most amazing cinematic experience Ive ever had. I havent jumped from this movie in years since Ive watched it so many times, but the surround sound had me jumping like Ive never seen it before. 6+/5. Well be back for Two Towers!

Ah, to be able to go to the movies again! Those days will be back eventually, and when they are, we will only be going to Studio One. The auditoriums are amazing, so comfy that we feel like were in our own living room. The food is quite delicious, their beer selection is great, and the staff is very professional.

This was our first time going here and I must say it was a great time. Considering the climate with covid this was an excellent experience. We went on the website picked a movie and time and made reservations for the brunch.When we arrived our Temperatures were taken and we were then escorted our themed movie room. There were 4 of us and we had the room to ourselves to watch the movie and enjoy the food. The outing made us feel normal and had a great time. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely do this again.

I love this spot. The individual theaters are so cool and cozy. The staff is always super nice. The food service can be a little slow at times, but the quality of the food is excellent. Awesome drink menu(s). And they’ve taken responsible measures during COVID. This place is a home run.

My best friend recommended me this place for date night & man I how her a big thank you! This place is absolutely amazing!! The rooms are so cute and cozy! We relaxed in a lounge recliner by the fireplace. The food was delicious & so well priced! BEST CAESAR SALAD IN TOWN!! (And it’s just a salad but even my friends sitting across from me said it looked bomb!). They had a huge selection of nonalcoholic drinks which I personally enjoyed! The owner walked us back & gave us the history of how he started the place. Its defiantly obvious he works very hard & takes pride in his fine establishment. The bathrooms are so clean, they checked temperature at the door, we felt very safe during the pandemic. I plan to visit again this week & bring my Mother. Right now they’re showing old films for free! Thank you again for a wonderful night out!! Can’t wait to cone back!

Just sending a satisfactory message today to let you know how well we were treated at your establishment on Saturday 9/19/2020. We had a great time celebrating my niece’s 40th birthday. The staff treated us Like royalty, and the other people who were having parties like they were the only people there also. Great vibe and excellent service and we will be back. We loved how they placed each plate in separate areas of the room. And checked temps of each patron. You couldn’t ask for anything more during this pandemic.

The food was excellent, the movie theater setting was comfortable and pleasant, and the staff was very personable. I recommend anyone looking to have a great movie-outting to go!The reason for a 4 and not 5 star has to do with the current pandemic. Unfortunately, there are no 1st run movies available, but Studio One gives every effort for a variety of older released movies to choose from.

My husband works 7 days a week and we dont get to spend much time with him. He finally got a day off and we decided to try Studio One Theater for the first time. We had such a great time. The penthouse suite was beautiful and comfortable. The food and service was superb. We cant wait to come back again. Highly recommend checking it out.

I absolutely loved my very 1st experience here. I went and saw Footloose and everything was just perfect. The food was delicious, the service was great and the natural layout of the rooms offer plenty of distancing. I cant wait to go back.

Since I dont get to see people much due to Covid-19 I was thrilled when I was invited to a family dinner. Surprisingly, it was held at Studio One Theaters. I got to eat a delicious crispy chicken sandwich on a brioche bun with fresh veggies and some very hot french fries period it was air conditioned and I had a couch to myself. After all this time its so nice to know that they are able to keep the furniture clean. My family members were able to see each other and watch a movie on a big screen with a fantastic sound system. What a great idea. And best of all, we were able to reserve the room for just our group. How very cool!

Beautiful ambiance, we were absolutely comfortable in our private viewing room. The food was divine as well as the service. Well definitely celebrate there again in the near future.

Went here countless times to watch free movies then the manager was workin and got kicked out of the theater because i ordered a cookie and a drink witch was 10$!! but didnt order dinner for the free movies FALSE ADVERTISING facebook add said free movie that need to change it its not a free movie you have to buy a dinner there dinners are 30- 40$ now im banned from the theater because i didnt order dinner who can afford that small plate for 1 person for 40$ crazy people dont recommend this place unless your rich and can afford the false advertising free movies witch is more like 60$ for 2 people

This place is awesome! Im a trucker, so whenever Im in a new city I look up things to do. I discovered (on Google)Studio One last time I was in Portland and now that I have another load picking up in there, Im very excited to go back. This place is a super comfy, stylish, and unique movie theater experience. I love the seating options (recliner, Chaise lounge, etc). The menu is great and the full bar is a plus! Id highly recommend!

Ive been here twice with my husband and so far its been a pleasant experience for the both of us. I would never forget their chai tea and how it was served to us. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a cozy, intimate place to watch a movie in. Given all this pandemic going on for several months, I can almost guarantee that the setup has changed which is very unfortunate. Anyway, this is an unexpected find and I had a good experience overall, also with their staff

Absolutely love this place! The theaters are so comfortable, the food is so good and during this pandemic I have felt very safe going to watch movies there. They are currently checking temperature upon walking into the building, everyone is wearing masks and they have sanitizer stations outside every theater. The staff is amazing and so accommodating and after going to this theater its hard to go back to a regular movie theater. If you havent been I highly recommend trying it out!

Great for date night! (Do not come here expecting a thrifty adventure) Its a bit pricey, but in my opinion, well worth the cost. Food is excellent (currently open for take out during pandemic). Try the buttered popcorn with honey dust and thank me later. Caution: This stuff is highly addictive and multiple attempts to find alternatives in the grocery store or make at home have failed. When they get to reopen, come enjoy the comfy chairs and sofas and have them bring you delightful treats right to you in the theater! Indulgent, but truly a great time, every time. They even have live music some nights, so come early and enjoy a cocktail & appetizer in the lounge.

A few weeks ago my wife and I had a real nice dinner. Along with watching a movie, the staff were very friendly and helpful. And the dinner was excellent, and the movie was good

We arrived on time for the 8 oclock showing. We were told the previous showing had run over and it would be a FEW minutes. We ordered drinks and waited. After 30 minutes of being ignored I asked again when we would be seated. I was then told the projector had broken during the first showing and that they had to fix it and they were just now finishing the movie. It would be even longer for them to sanitize the room before we could be seated and we could not even order food beforehand. First they lied to us, then they ignored us, we gave up at 8:45 and walked out.

Best movie theatre experience I’ve ever had. Walked in to a Jazz band playing in the lounge, where we could sit down and enjoy some drinks and food before the movie. Went to see peanut butter falcon and walked into a smaller but romantic style theatre with a couple rows of couches and love seats to cozy up into with a cute blanket. Servers came by to provide us with some snacks and drinks during the movie, and the apple crisp I had felt like home! Nice work Studio one. Wish all movie experiences could match this one!

Well-designed, nice ambiance, lots of roomy, comfy seating! Food was tasty, cant wait to come for new releases.

It was my girlfriends birthday and I had just heard of this spot so I decided to take her and it was the best birthday she has ever had. We sipped White Russians and watched The Big Lebowski, we did a “Pick 7” and absolutely everything was delicious. I got the pleasure to meet one of the owners and they were so genuine and went above and beyond to make it special for us :) The Tokyo Suite was beautiful, it was so clean and the seating was great. I can’t wait to come back ️️

We sat at the lounge couches in the front. Good wine list and the small plates were a hit. Large popcorn and the movie was fun too.

I’ve been to Studio One on several date nights and each time it has been wonderful. The comfy seating and unique decor make it a one of a kind movie theater experience.

I had high hopes for this place, my wife’s birthday is coming up so I made reservations and took her there tonight. We arrived at 6:30, as we were advised to arrive early so we could get our food ordered and drinks ordered. So we could enjoy the themed room we booked. We watched Indians jones. We walked in and were immediately greeted. It took a few minutes for them to get around to taking us to our theatre. We got to our seats, a nice double couch that individually reclined. Super comfortable. They finally arrived at 7:00 to take our drink order. Mind you we’ve been there for half an hour at this point. The owner I believe took our drink order and told us they were on him since we had been there a while. We ordered food at the same time. At 8:00 our drinks finally arrived an hour and a half we’ve been there at this point. We were the first people to order drinks and food and the last to receive our drinks and food. When the food arrived it was good, but the time it took to get drinks and food seemed a little ridiculous. I will probably return and give them another shot. They could have just been under staffed due to all these new regulations with the COVID-19 B.S. going on. All in all we had a good time.

Fun date night idea! Currently, offering free movies with purchase of food or drink. Was able to watch jurassic park on the big screen for the first time since I was too young when it launched in theaters.

This is hands down the best theater I have ever been to.I cannot believe this is hiding right here in plain sight.the food was cooked perfectly, the wait staff was outstanding.the quality of the theater, as an A/V geek I was more than impressed.the interior design of the facility is beyond words beautiful.Obviously I can never be happy at any other theater.cons: I cant order tickets from my phone.the website is easily costing you customers. The theater is like going to the movies in 3065 and your website is stuck in 2001.I gave the waiter my business card.

We had the luck of being in almost entirely empty theater. The seating made it feel like watching a movie in a suped up version of your living room, in all the best ways.The menu was small and nothing out there, but everything was very well prepared. Our waitress was nice and seemed candid with here cider opinion.I would definitely come here again.

I star because the movie was free... moving past that, I’m extremely disappointed in the biscuits and gravy for 14$ it was the smallest portion I have ever had. Also purchase the build your own omelet and the potato’s were the worst I’ve had in a long time. Taste like they were straight out of a freezer bag. Paid 8.50 for a cappuccino that tasted like it was from 711. The employee who gave us the tour said “we are a restaurant first and a movie theatre second. For what they claim to be “luxury” doesn’t seem like it. Some of the seats seem luxury but are uncomfortable and you can’t lean back. Also expect a pint of beer for a staggering 8.50 with no can options and when I asked the employee questions about IPAs he said he could just get me whichever they have since they are out of most beers...

Service was great, food was great. New favorite date night place.

Great theater with amazing seating options. All seats are reserved and there is limited seating. So plan in advance but also expect to buy some popcorn as its out of this world amazing (not as much popcorn as a regal, Carmike, etc.)The food choices are also very good and the entryway ambiance is very nice.It may look strip club like from the curb with the neon lite sign but its anything but inside with high class and reasonable prices.100% recommend this place. Get for a date night too

I love this place. We went to a mid day matinee and it was only $10 per person. Each theater is like a nice livingroom. Extremely comfortable seating, attractive decor, and very gracious staff. Nice menu. Excellent food. Really great experience. Will definitely go here again.

If youre looking for luxury, and more specifically 21+ this is the place to be. I came with my partner during the week around 12 or 1pm and there was only one other couple in our theater, how great!Food and drinks a little pricey but after seeing the other reviews this wasnt a surprise. After AMC dine-in took over cinnatopia Ive been looking for a new place and this is it.My only gripe is you can not really see what kind of seats you are getting, especially from the website.

An amazing experience! Picture and sound are brilliant

This was probably the most comfortable movie-going experience Ive ever had. We arrived really early, so ended up eating in the bar/lounge portion of the lobby, and eventually bringing in the leftovers to finish while watching the movie. I sat on the bench along the wall in the lounge, and it was incredibly comfortable, but much lower than the chair across the table, so I was looking up at the person I was dining with. The comfort of the seat did not tempt me to change my seat, though. The room where we watched the movie was also ultra-plush. We had barrel shaped chairs that were perfect for movie watching, though all the other types of seating looked great as well. The cost for a movie, an entree and a salad for one person, a pizza for the other, and a couple of drinks each really added up, but it was a legitimately complete meal, rather than what you typically think of as movie theater food. Im not a fan of the typical mall movie experience, so I tend not to see many movies in theaters, but Studio One really has me planning to get out more.

This is a new upscale Dinner Theater. Intimate small theaters with cool seating, some couches some chairs. A few recline and footrests for the rest. Great place for a date. I disliked the distractions: they need to swap out the white pathway lights for red ones (red does not interfere with your dark vision). Leaving the fireplace on was strange, but I think they are going for your in a cool viewing environment in your house vibe. My server checked the theater way to many times, but it was nice to get a surprise drink refill. I tried out every seat, which are reserved, I was solo in the theater. The seats in the front row are too close, kinda trippy, but you can stretch out, and put your head up. Pro tip dont sit by the entrance, the gap under the door distracts from the soundtrack. Collect all your friends and see a show here. Full bar and food service.

Love this place! We always have a good time. Cozy but elegant setting tucked away like a hidden secret. The food is great. I havent found a cocktail that Im fond of yet, but thats personal preference. I have nothing negative to say about Studio One. You should go!

Friendly, accommodating staff and gorgeous venue! Absolutely in love with the “living room theater” trend, and these guys execute it phenomenally. Didn’t have any of the food (pretty pricey, but those were our expectations!) but we didn’t even need it to thoroughly enjoy the experience.

We saw The Rise Of Skywalker there and were very impressed with the upscale setting, wine list and food menu. We had drinks and lunch during the movie which were brought to our seats just before the movie started. The food was locally sourced and sustainable. Everything was great! The sound system was very good as was the picture quality. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Nice, luxurious feeling theater. Great movie watching experience. Staff was friendly. Food and drinks are way over priced. No interesting non alcoholic drinks. Only come products. Very few vegetarian items. Not vegan friendly. Dont order the apple bar dessert. It was a tasteless dry biscuit/survival bar with a few thin slices of apple and mediocre ice cream.

I was really glad to see this place open with all that is going on with Covid . I’ve never really had amazing service here. Don’t get me wrong the people are very friendly. I literally been trying to get a hold of them for a few days leaving my name and number for the manger . My credit card was charged three times for $106 . The server told me something was wrong with his iPad. So he just kept swiping my card. I did not know this till after I left. I also tipped 25% cuz of the times we are in .My food was received cold. I did not want to complain So I just made do. Then me and my friends ordered dessert At the beginning of the movie when he swiped my card multiple times, It came at the very end when the lights were turning on and we were standing up to leave. Beautiful place comfy seats Just not the very best organized people. There high ratings are just for the beautiful scenery and high Quality atmosphere. I’ve been here multiple times over the years from when they first started. I am not one to complain. I have never received any food here warm that I’ve ordered lol but then again I’m sure it sits there while people are running around . They probably just get to it when they can . It’s not their fault that no one communicates there.not to mention there’s soda is flat because their CO2 is off. Evan the people sitting behind told there older daughter to get wine because the soda is not good here.

Shhh... Keep this place a secret. Portlands hidden Gem during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Ambient & intimate atmosphere with various different seating options available to accommodate your personal preference/mood. Up to date and on point with the latest audio and visual technologies (Dolby Atmos) which certainly does not disappoint. Full bar with an excellent wine menu. Superb A++ wait staff who are all very nice and friendly. A server will stop by your seat just before the start of your movie so that you can get in those orders! Dinner menu is diverse with many different options for everyone. The only downside with the menu is that it does not change. Youll quickly find out once you become hooked and are now a regular weekly guest of this fine establishment, the menu is needing retire and has far exceeded its prime. Some fresh new additions would be beneficial and greatly appreciated. There is a nightly entree special on the menu which may seem special at first, but not so much upon your return, considering 9/10 times is always the same dish(grilled halibut filet). Knocking 1 star off for the quality of food itself which I find to be hit or miss. There has been a reoccurring pattern where every other visit the food has been undercooked. Food aside, I highly recommend doing yourself a favor and checking this place out.

Clean and njce good place to eat and watch movie

Studio one was fabulous. Since cinetopia just closed buddies and I were seeking a new Living room theater experience. Studio one fit the bill. They have unique hanging chairs, cuddle couches, floor seating and plush movie seats. The food is good quality and they have unique popcorn flavors. They use real butter in the popcorn and its served in a metal bowl. The dining room has plush seating and the servers are attentive. Great adult movie theater. They have a huge selection of alcohol as well.

I rave about this place to everyone I meet. Great food and drinks, and the quality matches the prices, especially considering its a movie theater. Truly a very nice experience every time. I love this place. Themed theaters, custom made cozy furniture, state of the art audio and video in the theaters; this spot is special.

Such a great place for a date night! The waiters are great, and you get escorted to your studio. We were in the Paris room, which had a really neat atmosphere. Front row seats are worth the comfy couches!

Living room was sold out so we came here instead. To our surprise, this place had better food, better seating, better (live) band, better screens, better sound! We got there 5 minutes before the movie started and STILL had our food within 10 minutes of the movie starting!?!?This is our new go-to for grown up date night!

Its a fun theater with well put together screening rooms, and good service before the movie starts. But my food was pretty bad. My pizza was burnt, but I couldnt tell because the lights were off. I just knew it tasted weird. There was also no way to get refills on beverages during the movie, which surprised me, compared to other dine-in theaters Ive been to. Overall, the experience left me feeling mixed enough to not want to return unless I have to. Ive had better, cheaper experiences. While this certainly wasnt the worst experience, Ive had better locally, so why wouldnt I just go there?

Amazing staff and venue! Fantasic food!

This brand new theater is beautiful!! We went when it was two weeks old, and my did it shine. They put a lot of money behind this place, with epically cool quaint themed rooms, and VERY comfy couches, chairs and chaise lounges to watch the gigantic screens. I hope they are able to keep their $10 ticket price. I had a flickering fire next to me, and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich that was on point, with friendly servers delivering right to me. 10/10, we will be back.

Best movie theater in town. Period. The service is top notch, the place is beautiful, the food and drinks are great and the movie rooms are amazing. They even have a bar/restaurant with live music! I wont be going to any other movie theater from now on.

Best theature in Portland if not Oregon. The seating was just like a living room, they played classic movies, great tasting food, wide veriety of wines, and I had a beautiful waitress in the theature.

This theater is a delightful find! Comfortable seating and viewing, and-- especially nice for adults-- a volume setting that doesnt make your ears bleed. The food is delicious-- I urge you to try the salmon! A bit pricey but worth it. Ill definitely be back!

A luxurious movie watching experience in every way except for the screening itself. A waiter escorts you to your plush seat, you order a $20 dinner plate and an $8 beer, ready to enjoy a movie; all of a sudden the movie starts minutes into the film while the lights are still on (and the volume was wayyyy too low the entire time, turn it up so we dont hear every time a fork touches a dinner plate). Missing the entire title sequence completely throws off the whole viewing experience IMO. I have no idea if a complete disregard for basic screening quality is common but Ill have a hard time coming back after spending almost $40 for the whole experience. 2 Stars for all the luxury but at the end of the day I go to the movies for the MOVIE and that screening was unacceptable

Coolest movie theater experience ever!! So comfortable-there wasn’t a seat in the theater that I wouldn’t have been okay sitting in. Every seat had a great view of the huge screen. Amazing popcorn and drinks. The food menu looked awesome too. Great service as well! Will definitely be back to have some dinner and hang out! My husband said he never wants to see another movie unless it’s at this theater.

This place is very nice and we’ve enjoyed the live music. We’ve only tried the fried chicken. First time was delicious but second time it was covered in spaghetti sauce. The buttermilk biscuit covering the chicken became really soggy and we’re not sure we’d be ordering again.

Tucked away behind a modest strip mall is this very modern, high-tech, very high-touch restaurant, bar and living room theater style movie theater.Everything is really done well. The food, from a menu that includes things like an excellent beet salad, cheese plate, hummus & pita, yakisoba, and French onion soup is very good. The full bar has a good beer and wine list, unique cocktails and a very attentive, present bar tender. You can order from, and eat at, your seat in a theater, or the bar / restaurant.Plush couches and high-back chairs are the typical seats in the reserved seating theaters, most of which seat only about 20 people. Theater sound and projection is absolutely top notch, including laser digital projectors.This is a really pleasant experience, striking a great balance between going to the movies versus Netflix and chill in the home theater you dont have, plus date night destination dining.

Really great spot to see a movie. Tickets are normal price even though the seating bid extra deluxe. Great wine and beer selection. The servers check on you right before the film to make sure your glass is full and you have any last minute needs, like delicious popcorn.

The best theatre experience we have ever had. This place is hidden in a small strip mall, but well worth the effort to find it. Cant wait to go back. Did I mention they offer dozens of wines by the glass and have one of the largest wine lists in PDX.

A hidden gem in a strip mall off of Powell. Beautifully designed rooms, each with a theme. Comfy seats, both love seats and singles. Food and drinks a touch pricey. Great screens. Unfortunately let down by mediocre, at best, service. Shown to seats quickly and efficiently (was our first time) but then waited forever for a server (we went to find one), then as long for drinks and food to arrive. Finally when requesting another drink, we were told to go to bar, which sort of defeats the point of at seat service, even though others seemed to get service during the movie. Food was ok, but not really upto the prices (Caesars salad was a bit bland and basic, although hummus was excellent). Shame, as this place deserves to be successful, but needs to get the front of house sorted.

Very comfortable and relaxing place! Perfect for movie goers

Better than Cinetopia when Cinetopia was brand new. The service is better in that your server will patrol your theater occasionally as the movie progresses. The food is better also but plan to spend about 20% more than Cinetopia. The smaller theatre #4 photos are attached, as well as some of the clever old doors at the entrances. Rudyard was actually on site before our movie and was fully engaged in the operation. We are very excited he established a theater that is everything Cinetopia should have been.

This place is has it all. Great food, great service, an incredible theater experience, and a full bar with 12 beer taps and 45 reasonably priced wines by the glass....all of which are brought to you in your seat right up until the time that previews end in your theater. Looks like I wont be seeing a movie anywhere else moving forward.

I absolutely love this place. For quite a while I stopped going to movies. This place has brought back the love of going to the movie theaters for me. They have friendly staff and their food is excellent. My wife doesnt even like going to the movies, but now she goes all the time because of the food. To put that in perspective she is not a foodie.

Wow! Im absolutely blown away by this place! My family and I drove from Vancouver to check out this new theater. Were accustomed to fancy movie theaters so I didnt really expect much to wow me but was excited to try out the new theater. My son had a half day so it busy when we for our 3:30 movie. There was a giant bouquet of dried (dead?) roses upon entering. I assume they switch them out for the weekends and it was Wednesday afternoon. The bartender greeted us and acted as our personal concierge. We told him it wads our first visit and we could tell he was just as excited to show us his beloved theater as we were to experience it!He escorted us to our lovely cozy day bed style couch (with Vera Wang Blankets) with menus and said he would return with waters while we get comfortable and look over the menu! Our movie was in the NYC penthouse room which was breathtaking. They had a famous episode of Seinfeld playing on one of the TVs, music youd expect to hear in a NYC cabaret and even a cute little fish tank with a live betta! I definitely felt more like i was in some moguls private theater room than a luxury movie theater!Since it was a slow day, he offered to show us the other theaters while we waited for our movie to start. They were all equally as gorgeous. I was especially in love with the bright and airy Paris theater.We got back to our seats and ordered some cocktails (which were perfectly balanced and not too sweet), the beef rib ragout (OMG!!! On par if not better than my favorite italian restaurant) and some popcorn (we tried the dusted honey version) Everything was excellent. The popcorn was amazing and i was pleased that no disposable dishes, cups or popcorn bowls were used. Plus the popcorn bowls were the cutest thing ever!This place really raises the standard for luxury movie theaters. Im excited to come back again!

They had wonderful food and the staff was amazing. Really comfy sofas. One of the best movie experiences I have ever had. Going to make this my go to movie theater for now on. Loved this place.

Cool venue, dark lighting, fun seating options. Didnt have food except popcorn and fries. Was pretty good! Kinda like being at home watching a movie but with wait staff to take care of you. Oh ....cool bathrooms!

Found a piece of metal in my food and was disappointed that no refund was offered. While sitting in a dark theater eating food i ordered I felt something cut the inside of my mouth. Once I figured out what it was I did not finish the rest of my food. Complained to at employee about it but no refund was offered.

Comfy. I always order the scallops when I come to this place, I’m never disappointed. Wish they had pictures of what the seats that you were purchasing look like though. You may pay for seats that aren’t as nice as the ones next to yours.

Flipping fantastic. Delicious food, great surround sound, and beautiful atmosphere. When youre not watching a movie on a plushie couch theres live music at the bar. Their Old Fashioned is one of the best Ive ever had. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go again!

Pretty neat place. This is the way to watch a movie! Being served amazing foods, cocktails, and traditional movie snacks, if thats your thing. Super comfy seating including giant lounge couches with Vera Wang throws to completely relax. Enjoyed it immensely and I didnt have to clean up the mess when the movie was over. Bonus!!

UPDATE: Back to loving this place. With COVID, they did free movies all summer with great mesures to control health and sanitation. Good went back to excellent and what’s better than 90s movies?OLD: Used to love Studio One. Unfortunately once you become popular quality goes down. Seats and theater facilities are still the best, but food has slipped significantly. When you pay 26 dollars for salmon dish, it should be the best. This last visit (and I’ve been coming here since it opened) the salmon was tiny, the flavor was bland and don’t get me started on the couscous (overcooked, bland) Hope they can get their food up to standard again because it’s been my favorite for a while.

This small, locally-owned business does it right!In response to having to close the theaters at Studio One, due to Covid, the owners have created a take-out/delivery menu that is to-die-for!!! There are romance dinner packages, cooking classes you do online with a kit the chef prepares for you, family meals, a kids menu, and options for all kinds of food preferences and sensitivities. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable about wine and include amazing wine pairings on their menu. They have beer too.Last night, I ordered steak, grilled vegetables, a hummus plate, and chocolate truffles. In short, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious and I will definitely be ordering dinner from Studio One again.The more detailed description of my experience goes like this:Called studio one and Johnny picked up the phone. He was so friendly and accommodating. He was careful to check with the kitchen about ingredients I was trying to avoid, when he wasnt sure. (Sometimes its like pulling teeth to get the front of house to double-check with the kitchen on ingredients). Also, Johnny was so happy to switch out fries for mashed potatoes (that go with the steak), more veggies for bread (on the hummus platter), and make the triple truffle dessert all dark chocolate (so I could avoid the dairy.) From the second Johnny answered my call, to the end of the order, I felt like a valued customer. (Some restaurants in Portland have service that makes me feel like Im putting people out when I order. Not at Studio One, though!)Now to the food! Fresh and homemade hummus and baba ghanoush, with kalamata olives, cucumbers, carrots, and house pickled green beans. The steak, cooked to an absolutely perfect medium (as requested), was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The grilled veggies, marinated in white balsamic, were among the best Ive ever had! Last, but not least, the dark chocolate truffles, freshly hand made on site, were perfection! Glad there werent more than three...I might have kept eating until I got sick. Theyre a good size and 1 per person is a perfect serving, (although my husband and I finished all 3. Ok...I ate 2 of them!)Way to go, Studio One!

Nice place and very unique experience for a movie! The tickets are fairly priced but the food is a tad over priced for the quality despite the fact that it is in a theatre. The theaters are nice but slightly intimate and the seating feels a little hit or miss from my experience. However, I still enjoy seeing movies there and am a repeat customer!

Favorite date night location!! This place has it all! Music in the lounge for drinks before or after the movie, AMAZING dinner options to dine on during the film plus a full bar with a fabulous wine list. While its super luxe, the prices for movie tickets are extremely reasonable. The sound quality in each of the penthouses makes for an unparalleled movie experience plus the variety of seating options fit any group size and will appeal to the pickiest of moviegoers. Lastly, the staff is top-notch!! They go above and beyond to make your night out an enjoyable one! If you havent been here yet, you absolutely need to check it out.
