My daughter Kimmie is a signed model represented by Ryan Artists and we have been very pleased with how they book my daughter jobs and how they communicate about changes needed and such. It was a goal of ours to get my daughter part of a local ad and on a national recognized clothing brand and they made it happened. If you are looking for an agency to work with in representing your child definitely reach out to Ryan Artist.Photo of a screenshot of my daughter in the purple pajamas being held :)

I have been an actor with Ryan Artists Agency for over 12 years and cannot say enough good things about them. Cholee, Taylor and Jen are the most professional, efficient and kindest team any actor could ever hope to represent them. In addition, their generosity and warmth are what every actor and client needs to keep them going in the tough and competitive world of acting and modeling.

Our experience with Ryan Artists and Cholee has been amazing. We are doing several projects together and they have been nothing less than professional. In particular, Cholee Thompson’s knowledge of the marketplace and personalized approach is unmatched in this area. Five stars!!!!

The team at Ryan Artists is an absolute delight to work with. They understand that attention to detail, meeting timelines and being available to Production after hours are the keys to success in our industry, and they exceed my expectations every time. Were lucky to have Cholee, Taylor and Jennifer in our Portland on-camera community!

Ryan Artists wanted to sign up my two year old and made me believe that there would be plenty of work for him. I paid over $500 for a photo shoot, website fees and comp cards (all mandatory) and then he wasnt called up for a single audition. After 7 months of no opportunities for work they requested more money for website fees so I declined to continue. Why would I pay more money to make their website look good? The whole thing was a total waste of time and money.

My older teenage son has been with Ryan Artists for over a year. We have found them to be kind, friendly, responsive and professional. Hes gotten quite a few auditions, booked several acting jobs, and one modeling job. Sometimes payment is slow and sometimes its fast -- I think this has more to do with the clients than the agency. Hes happy to be working with them, and plans to continue.

What can I say? This agency has been a part of my life for the last decade. If I were to make a comparison Ryan artists would be the agents that actually care about their talent.Even though and actors job is to make sure that their craft and their tools are always up-to-date, Ryan artists will always have your back when it comes to contracts, rules, regulations and whatever project that you may have been booked on.Now Under New Management, Ryan Artists has remained one of Portlands original and trusted Talent agents in Oregon.

All four of my kids were available for every go see / photo shoot/ commercial audition etc. all was good until we relocation to Orange County Ca. Three days before Christmas, I could not believe that my Daughters conaire commercial was aired in Southern California and we were never contacted for repeat renewal. I contacted R.A. And it was a over sight. The following year, that same commercial was aired over seas and still never contacted us for renewal. This was twelve years ago, and I am still so upset. The following year, I was at the Phoenix airport on a layover and my Daughters commercial was viewed and once again no communication or compensation. What on earth?

It took over a year to get my sons paycheck for booking a shoot with fred meyers. And then when they FINALLY admitted that they had not paid us they took out website dues a some other made up payment which what was left was pretty much nothing. Im not sure how the adults are getting paid but the kids are getting ripped off and thrown under the rug. Horrible experience with these people.

BEWARE! Originally we were told very good things about this agency because it has been in Portland for years, but it was taken over by Cholee. The agency is staffed with 3 people including Cholee. The whole agency is unorganized. I should of walked away after my daughter got signed when they couldnt even get my email address right after correcting them multiple times. When you sign on they make you think that you have to pay website dues, use a photographer of their choice and pay for comp. cards. I spent 100s to not get any updates put on their website, 4-5 audition emails that normally didnt even fit for my daughters size/age and ONE booked photo shoot. That was back in August and after numerous calls/emails I still have not seen a dime from that photo shoot. So if you are interested in this agency then plan on spending lots of money and not seeing any in return. They also claim to be BBB accredited and that is lie. In the end, we lost a lot of money and terminated our contract with them.
