This team is so positive and successful. You only have to look at their results at local and national level and see the kids faces as they come off the water after practice.This is a great team led by excellent highly experienced coaches.

Can not praise Pluman and Nadia enough! Really well run program in part because its challenging and enriching. I just wish it was closer to where I live.

I was ORU 1988-91. Charlie Brown was such a wonderful coach and role model. My lifelong love of rowing began here at ORU.

Great club! The coaches are passionate and care for all the kids. Even though the club is small, they get results--this year the club has three boats going to Youth Nationals.

Coaches Nadia and Plamen are the best! Dont listen to me, ask the kids they coach! Several kids have left other to joi n ORU because of the coaches.

A great place to row! What I like best about ORU is the friendly community atmosphere. The group is close-knit and supportive, and spends time together outside of just rowing. Since you dont need to take a learn to row class to join, its more accessible than other clubs in Portland. The ORU staff and members are so welcoming!
