I cannot tell you how happy I was to finally get out and see a movie and missed all of the craziness going on in the world. Yes I totally understand the whole streaming thing and its its great that we can stream all the movies that we want to our living rooms, but there is just something magical about sitting in the theater, eating popcorn and just getting the entire movie going experience. I have never been to this theater before and I will say I will definitely be going back. The staff was awesome they all wore masks and they went out of their way to make sure the whole contactless experience was right. I will say I do miss the butter stations because I am one of those people that needs to drench my popcorn with butter, but Im very happy that they gave me a generous amount of the liquid goodness to put on my popcorn. The seats were very comfortable although I do wish they reclined back, just a hint guys. The surround sound was absolutely unbelievable you really did feel the movie and thats exactly what I want to experience when Im in the theater. All in all if youve been one of those people who have not gone to a movie because of the whole pandemic thing and covid thing, this would be a great place for you to venture forth and feel very comfortable in doing so.

Kids always have fun here. The manager on staff was very friendly and helpful. She was dealing with some crazy people and I thought she did a great job handling the situation. The popcorn was good and the chairs were clean and comfortable. We will be coming back again.

Great place the best chairs that recline very comfortable. Even have a heating mode built in chair if you want.

This theatre is great! The sound was good and my seat was comfy! It was clean and they seem to take pride in maintaining its state.

I love this place. The seats are so cozy. They even have a warming function. I like the candied popcorn. It stays nice and chilly so bring a hoodie.

Needs updating, the good thing was the reclining chairs with heaters. Building could use remodeling. The pigeon wire spikes is not an attractive feature in the entrance. Urinals/restroom are outdated. Pembroke pines was more modern

I just had a horrible experience at your Pompano Beach FL. location... my intention is to never frequent this location again. I’ve been a Cinemark member forever and there’s a reason why. This locations management has nothing better to do but harass annoy and vex the few customers that come in there. I turned on calling corporate on Monday to discuss how nasty your management is there. Anyone who is reading this comment.. take my advice and go somewhere else.. I want my money back!

Was very impressed with how they met all the CDC guidelines to make you feel safe since covid 19. They have wipes available to clean your seats hand sanitizer everywhere!

Clean theater. Seats a bit smaller than other AMC theaters but what it lacks in size it makes up with the heated lower back option in the seats.

This is our local movie theater so we always go here to see what’s new. I like the location. It’s okay and the theaters are big and spacious. Especially with very wide, reclining leather seats. I like the fact that in this theater you can reserve your seat. They have a bar and we’ve never had any issues coming here. One thing I can say is that it can get messy, and sometimes the bathroom may not have toilet paper or paper towels. So maybe they could get better at up keeping the place. Concession is good also. We will always come here as long as we live nearby.

Really clean movie theater. The reclining chairs are really comfortable. I love the concession stands and choice of food and beer. Do show up early because it takes awhile to get into the theater

I dont go to the movies often, however, The Rise of Skywalker needed to be seen on a big screen. My mother and I have seen all of the Star Wars franchise together, so the end of the saga demanded a visit to AMC. The theater was clean and comfortable. My mother, now in her 70s and finding it harder to get around, had no problem getting to the seats we reserved with Fandango. I highly recommend utilizing Fandango if the movie you want to see is going to be crowded, especially if you need an easily accessible seat as my mother did. It was another movie memory to cherish, thanks to Fandango and AMC!

The prime theater in this place is excellent. The sound, screen and seats make it very enjoyable. Its huge, the leather reclining seats are very comfortable.

Other than the expensive ticket the chairs, view and surround sound were great. New movie theater spot for me

Inside the theaters are nice and very spacious. I like this location over coral ridge (too big and busy). Can use a little upkeep.

This is a nice movie theater but I didn’t get to see a movie here. I went there during the premiere night Avengers and they were sold out. The staff handled it very professionally and even check if other AMCs had tickets available. Luckily enough there a Wholefoods near by that I had dinner in and went home.

Great theater. The main prime theaters seats dont recline all the way so I avoid showings in that theater. Rest of the recliners are comfortable and now have heated seats

I went here one time because it was one of a few theaters that had How To Train Your Dragon showings coming back for a limited time. Theater was big and I was happy being the only one in the auditorium. Employees were friendly and polite. Cant say anything bad about. It was just a good experience that is expected from any theater.

Amazing! The seats recline, are heated & the foot rests go up. The popcorn is so good its addicting. The staff are friendly. The theater is really clean. They have done a great job. My only complaint is the sound is loud IF you have sensitive hearing.

This AMC Theater has the worst audience so far. Literally, 50% of the time I have been here there are always people talking during the movie. Last night I went to watch the movie Black and Blue. Great movie. But there was a couple right next to me talking the entire time from start to finish. Unbelievable!!Other times, there are teenagers and adults just behaving inappropriately not considering others. Meaning, please silence your phones! No texting because the light on the screen is a distraction. No talking during the movie.Also the seats were dirty. Pop corn on the seats and the floor. Some recliner seats are not working. And alcohol is overpriced. $12 for a small cup of beer for example.Good luck

The theaters have been renovated and provide a wonderful experience. Reclining seats which are heated turned out to be amazing. Large screen, great sound. We had a terrific time.

The concession stand and condiment areas had sticky counters and were not clean. The drink area was messy. There was no one to help customers find their seats in the theater. Mid-movie the attendant had to ask us for our tickets and she had to move and rearrange an entire row of people for a couple that showed up late. Truly an inconvenience.

The theater itself is nice and comfy but the concession stand is a little overpriced for the quality of food you buy!

I personally like this movie theater out of most of the AMC. It is very neat and newer seats with butt warms. I also feel like maybe there isnt as many families attending with babies under 6 months this theater lol

My first time here. I love this amc. The reclinable heating chairs are everything. They have a bar and everything. This is definitely a go to spot to watch movies and I will be back.

Seats always broken!!Every time we come here the NEW seats are almost ALWAYS broken!! WTH?? We thought the renovation was great. But after more movies than I can count with broken seats I’ve grown to not trust this theater any more. So disappointing.

This was my first time in this theater in a few years. Its been renovated and has reclining seats. I went to the 11:30am showing of Avengers and a lot of the stalls in the womens bathroom didnt have toilet paper, 2 of 3 soap dispensers were out of soap and only 1 of the paper towels dispensers had paper towels. When we got to theater 11, we noticed there were several seats in the fully reclined position. We pressed the buttons to move them back but no luck. We were in the last row, row H. I happened to sit in one of the seats that couldnt unrecline. By the end of the movie, it dawned on me that maybe someone plugged the chairs out. We checked and they were plugged out. This theater has a lot of potential, but for a first showing for the bathrooms to be in that condition, the seats to be unplugged says a lot about their lack of maintenance of the theater. The movie was great, the picture quality and sound were awesome.

I work for a treatment facility and I took 10 of my guys to the movies one of my guys was sitting in a different row so I proceeded to look down the isle for him. Minutes later I’m getting pulled out of the movie theater by a police office that worked Sunday evening there. the police officer did not tell me a reasoning for him pulling me out I proceeded to call my coworker to come speak to the officer with me and I spoke with the manager and I was aloud back in the movie which I never should of been taken out of to begin with. I felt profiled due to wearing a champion sweatshirt considering the ac is freezing in amc to begin with. I missed most of the movie and didn’t get offered a refund for the mid communication. I come here every Sunday with 10 to 20 people I’m taking care of and I will not be coming backthank you,-Giuseppe

This is an amazing theater so much so I have to come in at least once a week. The staff is really on top of their game in large crowds and I have honestly never seen any of them complain. They make the experience so great and honestly keep me coming.

I love the new seating and modernization but$16 to $17 a ticket plus $16 for large popcorn and drink makes a movie for 2 close to $50

Great theater with easy parking and very well kept and maintained. AMC took over from Muvico so it company management set aside its not a bad theater at all! Staff was very inviting and auditoriums were clean and well maintained. Popcorn could have been better. #movies #pompano #cinema #amc

Rebranded establishment as it was Muvico before. This location has since became a very good movie theater with recliner seats and great picture/sound quality. If you have not been here since the rebrand from Muvico to AMC, definitely give it a try

After AMC purchased this theater, it slowly lost its unique touch to the community. I prefer going to Cinemark now as it seems like a dive.

We enjoyed the movie we ordered while sitting there its was great super nice, not to mentioned the location its great. After the movie we walked & check out other stores great exercised especially after you eaten. First visit - loved this theatre! The staff was friendly, quick and professional. My favorite was the reclining seats and cleanliness of the cinema. Its not what I expected from this Pompano location, pleasantly surprised. Ill definitely be back.

Potentially Dangerous. Avoid if possible.We were at AMC last night to watch Spiderman. My son and I got up to use the concession and we walked in front of a man who got angry because we didnt go the other direction and threatened to beat us up if we came back that way. I spoke to the manager on duty, who accompanied us after we made our purchases. We walked again in front of the guy, and he got up to hit my son and the manager pulled on the guys shirt to keep him from doing so. I asked for the police to be called. The manager on duty called someone with her 2-way radio and stood there waiting. The guy knew he would be kicked out so he asked if he could sit in the row BEHIND us. The manager on duty LET HIM. Basically, we were left in the dark with a violent person where we couldnt even see him. While the manager on duty came back once or twice to make sure we were okay, this violent guy should have been thrown out to avoid us being exposed to further violenceAnd they NEVER answer their phone.

If I could give zero... we went to the 4:00 movie, we were sold tickets for the 1:00. After being seated for 10 minutes, two people came in and, very nicely, advised we were in their seats. Yes, there are assigned seats. She went to get staff to assist. The staff and manager were two young girls who couldn’t even follow the series of events and the manager was rude and sassy. $28.00 to see a stupid movie and she never even apologized for their screw up.... errrrrgggg! Do not choose this theater.... go the other way!!

Terrible service from staff and even the manager on 12/21/19 at 10am. The two staff members, one being the manager, refused to allow my 3 children and I to see our movie- due to an ambiguous rule (not clearly stated on the internet at all) that my husbands name was on our tickets and he wasn’t present. I even showed them both my license with the same last name. No help!! They processed to refund our tickets and up charge me- I don’t care about the upcharge, I was just upset by the principle- that I was not made fully aware of this rule, and was unable to enjoy a movie with my children. There was no warning- no help and no kindness shown towards my children and I. They will not receive my business and I will continue to let others know my experience as well. Make sure you follow every rule here, even if you don’t know them- because this staff won’t help you.

When I first started coming here this movie theater was a Muvico which opened in 1998. The movie theater had a 50s theme with replicas of 50s cars. At the time everything was nice and new. As the years went on things started to look worn and I gravitated towards the AMC chain which had $5 Tuesday movie tickets and reclining seats. I eventually stopped going and was surprised when someone told me it was now an AMC. My daughter was down and we hadnt gotten together in awhile so we hadnt had the chance to see Avengers: Endgame. We were probably the last people on earth to see it. The AMC Pompano was the only theater we could still find it playing at.We purchased our tickets through the AMC app for a Sunday morning show and I was pleased to see they were only $5. Even better I had enough rewards to pay for them. When we arrived the first thing I noticed were that the 50s cars were gone. The outside looked kind of shabby from where they had torn everything down and the ground was dirty. Inside the theater it looked nice and newly renovated. The seats in the theater were brand spanking new and they reclined. They were even heated so no more freezing in too cold air conditioning. The heat was actually nice on my back. The aisles between the seats were roomy so you could leave the theater during the movie without disturbing anyone too much. The problem came when the movie started and there was something wrong with the screen. If the screen was bright you could see a kind of glare on it that was very distracting during the movie.During the renovation they added a Prime theater with Dolby Vision which uses a double 4k laser projectors that can achieve million to one contrast ratio. The premium reclining seats also rumble in sync with the movie. Its the latest thing in theater technology and I looked in on it and it did seem impressive. Evening tickets run around $15 for adults and if there was a movie special enough to me I would pay the premium price to try out the latest and greatest. Besides the Prime some movies are shown in real 3D.Now that this theater is an AMC with reclining seats I will be back. The rewards program and $5 Tuesdays really helps you save money. They is a PDQ in the same plaza for cheap eats and a lot of other dining options in the area.

The seats are good but air circulation is bad and it does not smell good. The solution would be better air condition. Artificial air fresheners would not be good

I would give a - star if possible...... This place had No popcorn. Yes No POPCORN....... and both managers where a joke........I believe they just didnt want to make any and the only food they where selling was pizza......Dont waste your time go somewhere else......

Completely renovated! Nice reclinable chairs and good sound. I wish they would have service inside for food and drinks, like the one on Federal and Oakland. Also, they have a very convenient membership card

Cleaning and socially distancing very well!

Theater was very clean and staff was courteous. We went to see Spiderman Homecoming and they got the picture to work on the screen just before the movie trailers began to show, prior to that it was all sound and no picture. The seat are a bit narrow and not made for people that are a bit taller.

Having an inadequate supply of regular candy...was not good ......but the seats are nice lots of space ...Just glad the kids liked the movie...

My wife and I went fir the first time since they remodeled. The new reclining lazyboy like chairs are extremely comfortable. With the great big chairs the theaters are less crowded. Overall going to the movies now is very enjoyable will start going a lot more. Thanks AMC

The reason why I give this AMC theater a 1 star is because the speakers are really bad and they have been like that for a while already not coming here anymore until they fix all the theaters. My portable small speaker I take to the beach probably sounds better.

I love the new look. I wish they open up more registers on Tuesdays. I had to miss part of my movie. Tuesdays are $5 movie tickets so it gets pretty crowded. The theater gets messy.

Saw 3 From Hell which was on limited release, in theaters 3 days only. And the sound was not working in the theater. It was worse than my home tv. It was very quiet and none of the surround speakers were working. We could hear the people chewing over some parts of the movie. It really took away from the movie experience. Not happy at all, there should be some sort of quality check, especially on a limited release.

Wow! Such an improvement from the last time I was at this theater. Upgraded seats with recliners and... and... Heat adjustments! No need to bring a sweater to this theater. Seats also have moving arm rests for Love Seat capability. Sound was terrific, the popcorn was hot and fresh. All around wonderful experience. Truly recommend you try the New Muvico Pompano 18!

They renovated the movie from last time and it looks nice. The people there are really nice. Overall great experience.

Since they have upgraded the seats and theater overall, it is very nice. Only complaint is sometimes the volume is way off in the movies and no one will fix it.....

Theatre still in the LOOOONGGG process of being renovated. Upgraded seating. I tend to avoid any movies in the Prime theaters, the surround is never mixed correctly. Wish there was a way to anonymously report obnoxious moviegoers to have a staff member tell them to shut up. Why should I miss part of my movie because someones being chatty through the WHOLE movie? Ive not had any of the hot food (besides popcorn) in a while because most of it all is horrible. The flatbread things are tolerable. Am a stubs A*List member, so Im here quite often.

Its currently under renovation but still open. Saw a movie in theater 9, all of the seats have heaters that you can turn on/off and in addition are powered to be fully reclined if so desired. Found them to be extremely comfortable. Only complaint would be that there were 2 small children talking and the adults with then did nothing to educate them on proper public movie viewing etiquette. Not the movie theaters fault so no effect on the rating. Will definitely go back.

We felt like royalty. We were the only 2 people in our movie so it was awesome. The popcorn was hot and I enjoyed my hot dog. The inside of the place was clean.
