The worst experience ever . They don’t answer the phone . They let you know when you arrive you cant use Groupon only 24 hr in advance so that is impossible to schedule when they don’t answer the phone . They charged me for an hour gave me 30 min because of a thunder storm they knew my flight left the next morning . They talked me into buying an hour and now refused to charge me for the 30 min I actually received. My first time on a jet ski and made me feel terrible. Do your self a favor book else where don’t waste your money or time please . Bad customer service . Rude and not worth the money .

First time In Florida visiting my aunt and she recommended them very friendly paid for an hour it was well worth the money made me want to be here longer than the weekend for sure be back

Great place to rent jet skis, ocean kayaks, SUPs, cabanas and umbrellas. Their watersports equipment is kept in excellent condition and the beach staff are very courteous and helpful,.

Was kicked off the jetski due to thunderstorm after only 30 minutes of the full hour we paid for, was not refunded for the 30 minutes we werent able to ride due to bad storm. Seaweed clogged the jetski. A waste of time.

This is a great place to rent jet skis, kayaks and beach equipment. Very good prices compared to other rentals in the area. Beautiful part of Pompano Beach, particularly in the mornings. Close to the lighthouse and very family friendly!

It was like paradise! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The jet skiing with the lighthouse in the background and the crystal clear blue water reminded me of my honeymoon in the Bahamas! I would definitely recommend this experience. Cant wait to return.

Went out the other week and had some fun. Prices are fair just have to be aware of the seaweed but nothing they can do about that. Mike was extremely helpful!

I had a really great experience renting SUP paddle boards with the girls. I would recommend Lifes a Beach for the great prices and the awesome location. Love the tiki bar for drinks after a fun day of enjoying the beach!

Went there today with friends from out of town to show them The finer parts of Florida - The crew at Life‘s a Beach took care of us and made sure my friends had a blast, everything from their instruction on how to use the jetskis safely to their hospitality while we were relaxing. Thank you guys we had an amazing time and we will be back!

This place is overpriced and really only remotely worth it if you’re staying in the three or four resorts that are directly adjacent to it. These Jet skis are boring. This strip of beach has a lot of seaweed which clogs them up and you can only ride in a very small square of open water. If you go too far out in any direction they come and get you. Forget about riding with friends as you have to always be far away from everything else or they will come get you. There’s no adventure to be had here so if that’s what you’re after, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, like on an actual jet ski tour or something.

I had a blast. Christian and Jean were very professional and very helpful. I learned in 10 min how to Jetski again . I will definitely come back to do it again.

Wish I could give zero stars. There were two men at the hut when we arrived. One of them was extremely pleasant and the other was an absolute jerk (and judging by other reviews, the jerk was the owner). He was extremely disrespectful and had no sense of time management. We were scheduled to be on the jet ski by 11:45 and we did not get out on the water until almost 2pm. This was after I called the day before and was told that the introductory material would take no longer than 15 minutes. This business has horrible organization overall. I’m just glad that I purchased the Groupon and didn’t have to pay full price for it.

Let me start off but saying that Matt is very rude and for a guy that’s been in business for “15” years , you should have your policies written down. He didn’t allow for an extra switch unless we paid $20 extra. Which wasn’t written ANYWHERE. The staff called the owner Matt, and He said it’s because his employees have to stop what their doing to do the switch and it risks their safely. 1st of all, he’s betting the safely of his employees with $20, how does that make sense? 2nd we weren’t asking for any extra time and if the switch takes time, it’s all on the 60min we paid for anyway. 3rd, I watch his employees as ppl are in the water, and they aren’t doing anything that looks like we would be inconvening them if we were to do a switch so his logic makes no sense. The employees were nice for the most part. But as for the owner Matt, you have a lack of skill set in my opinion.

We had a blast!!!! Matt and the staff were awesome. They are very accommodating. The cabanas are great. Very good prices for everything. The wave-runners were fun. We ate at the bar and the food was great and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back.

HORRIBLE SERVICE bought Groupon scheduled an appt for 12pm show up at 11:45 and they say the water is too choppy to ride no call no nothing saying this before we got there drove 35 min to not be able to do anything!!!! No compensation whatsoever it was my mothers last day on vacation so we cannot even reschedule very disappointed DO NOT BUY THIS GROUPON YOU WILL GET SCREWED

Awesome! Been looking for a place to rent jet skis for a while now, heard some good things about this place and decided to give them a shot. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful and the prices are probably the best in the area. Had a ton of fun and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Went jet skiing here. customer service wasnt that great, waited around for awhile between things. the guys who gave us actual jetski instructions and sent us out in the water, curtis, i believe his name was, was super nice and awesome! overall had a fun time! You could go pretty far out into the ocean too which was nice! The only downside is you cant go out with a friend or another jetski, they only send one out at a time which i wish i would have known before hand.

Been a long time customer of this place until today. They have changed rules / operating boundaries for the vessels. God forbid you hold the throttle of the vessel too long, as they will come get you and give you a warning. Forget about going with a friend or family as they will tell you act as if dont know one another, do not race, nor interact with one another as you are to keep 100 yards away from each vesselLong story short, do not waste your money here unless, you want to be told every reason/excuse why they will bring you in/cut your ride short, and basically all you can do is ride along a 500x500 yard area of water. This facility used to be a blast, now is just a place to stay away from.

Found them on Groupon, which was a great deal, I got an hour for two people for only $60. The booking process took a bit longer than I expected because they only have so many slots available for groupons. It says book 24 hours in advance but in the summertime its best to book two weeks in advance. My boyfriend and I had a great time, and an hour is plenty of time on the water.

Drove 30 minutes to get here, once we got here we were told we had to wait an hour and a half which was no problem for us. We paid for an hour of the jet ski and walked down to the water, once we got on the jet ski we were told to come back once the numbers hit a certain point. After being out there for what felt like 30 minutes we noticed our time was up and went back up to the shore. While we were trying to get off wnd get our stuff out of the compartment the guy rudely said hurry up and get off. Once we noticed the time we realized we hadnt even been on the jet ski for 30 minutes. They had a line of people waiting so they cut our time even though we rightfully paid for an hour. Safe to say we will not be returning and we will not be referring anyone to this place. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY UNACCEPTABLE.

Used to go here all the time. Was $25 for a cabana with 2 chairs and cushions. Today I go there to find out it’s up to $35 with no cushions. The guy who claimed he was the owner was so busy talking about the price they charge next door, defending his price that he never told me how much the cushions were. I left and won’t be back.

For everyone has a Groupon deal, dont get it. Groupon does not specifiy all there rules. First of all you have to make a reservation, the wait time is usually 3 weeks and up. They only have one jet ski for the Groupon deals. If you going with a group of friends, you cant ride all at the same time, have to take turns. Jet ski are old and beat up. One word there customer service sucks!!! Go some where else. Dont make the same mistake I did.

I usually do not write negative reviews or negative comments. Moreover, we had a terrible experience and would not recommend their services at all. We called 3 weeks ahead to make an appointment for jet skiing while we were visiting FL, they confirmed and schedule my friend and I for Sunday July 2nd at 2.oo pm. When we got there they were just taking walk ins and said we had to come back at 6 if we wanted to rent the jet ski, we stated that we had a reservation and unfortunately we already had plans for later, so they said there wasnt anything they can do and kept taking more walk ins. Yesterday I called the Manager to see if they could fit make a new reservation and he said he was fully booked til mid August, so I explained what had happened a few weeks ago and in very dismissing rude tone he said If you dont like it, dont use our services. I felt truly awful and decided to submit a claim for a refund. What a terrible experience!

Totally disorganized. We had bought a Groupon for this place and I think they treat you differently because of it. Our reservation was for 10:30am and finally got on a jetski at 11:40am. The staff was nice but we will not go back. We had a second Groupon already purchased but called Groupon and got our money back to spend elsewhere so we didnt have to deal with another frustrating experience.

I have been trying to actually use my group-on since March. Every time i call or go there the weather is not good or its too windy. I understand they want to ensure my safety but im absolutely disgusted with the customer service i received. My groupon will be expiring this coming month and i have tried to get a refund and havent heard back. I would definitely love to use the group-on as it was a gift for my boyfriends birthday back in march and we still have not been able to go. They dont seem to care much whether or not you get to go and do not work with you to help you set a time. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone.

Arrived to LHC on a beautiful sunny day with a drop dead gorgeous blonde who was visiting from Dallas, Texas. We rented A giant cabana umbrella with two soft pad loungers. After settling in with a couple tasty Miami Vice, or piña colada / strawberry daiquiri twisters, We splashed around for a bit in the white water, played beach tennis - shes got game, too! - checked out the paddle boards... And finally, took A jet ski out for A half hour. Later that night, we went to CAPS for dinner. THANK YOU, RUSTY FOR THE RECOMMENDATION!! ,)

Im going to give this 3 stars because my family and I did thorough research before CHOOSING to come here to JetSki. We arrive on this beautiful somewhat secluded beach area in Pompano all to find out that theres a $500 deposit PER JET SKI that had to be charged on a major credit card. That wouldve been $1,000 unplanned dollars charged to my credit card for 2 JetSkis for 1/2 an hour each.The deposit is refundable but thats a ridiculous request for a 1/2 hour ride if you ask me PLUS this information is not on their website that my mom and I browsed thoroughly. Not to mention there excuse was Youre operating a motorized vessel therefore a deposit is required. My rebuttal was, Im currently renting a $20,000 2015 Chevy from Enterprise for 4 days without a deposit and thats a motorized vessel.I give them 3/5 stars because they had a lot of other water sport toys available, so we did the Banana boat ride which was awesome. But , I cant help but feel like this is a part of their modus operandi....getting people to come for Jet Skiing without mentioning all the details, but since youve already shown up youll just buy something else anyways.Not a good way to do business if you ask me. Put all the info ON THE WEBSITE!

Was going to buy on Groupon but tried calling to make sure we could get a reservation first. Noone ever answered or emailed us back and I couldnt leave them a voicemail because their mailbox was full. Whats the point of being on Groupon? Stupid!

Went here the other week with some friends they charged us a $500 deposit which was not mentioned untill we had allready got are life jackets on so we went along with it I noticed that the big guy incharge kept repeating that if we dont stay 100 feet away from each other we would be kicked off no refunds if we went outside the tiny square they allotted us we would be kicked off no refunds (Sailing space not shown to us till after we paid) if we got to close to other boats we would be kicked off no refunds ( they do not own the sea and there is allot of ocean traffic as it is so close to the inlet) so much traffic infact that we ended up pretty much sitting still for about ten minutes or so when we did decide to ride them one of the minions came out to bring us in saying that we got to close to other traffic and guess what NO REFUNDS felt to me like we just got conned out of a couple of hundred bucks by them and they shut up early to go spend my money. it would not suprise me as if by magic another ( customer) suddenly shows up with a great review over the next few days but lets hope people are not as stupid as he thinks or I was
