Ross Park is a fun place to take the kids. Although quite crowded, the park is very fun.The lazy river gets very, very crowded. The slides are fun for all ages. The small pool with the basketball hoop is a nice place to relax. The kids area with a aquatic playground is nice to have for infants. The lily pads are a fun spot for kids. Overall the park is four stars, would give five stars but it’s pretty crowded.

A great place to swim. Routine safety checks as well as everyone social distanced pretty well.

Small area with three pools: main pool (with two swim lanes), lazy river with central pool, and kiddie play area. Pretty good, for what it is. No diving boards. No depth beyond 66.

Slide was closed when I went, I think due to COVID-19. But overall was great! There is a kids splash pad area, a larger pool, a lazy river, and a smaller pool inside the loop of the lazy river. Bring your own lock for the locker room!

Lazy river is all i go for, I love that part until kids start kicking and splashing so you cant relax. I really hate that part.

Pool is nice but lifeguard crew strictly enforces arbitrary rules that seem intended to prevent fun, not ensure safety

Sweet! This place is a whole lot of fun! They keep it clean and safe; there are always many life guards on duty, and they do hourly pool checks. There is a variety of water sports to be involved in. Theres a slide, but unfortunately it costs extra to go down. Theres a fun little sprinkler thing for kids, a deep pool, a kid pool, and a really chill loop that kind of pulls you along. I would highly recommend it for people in the area and even if you are passing by for the day.

Good but small. Remember plastic pants required for children in diapers and flotation device must be life saving ask a lifeguard if you are unsure.

Its a decent park for small kids unless you plan on getting any food... I ordered a chicken burger, took one bite, saw this and spit out what I could. Really? This could easily kill a small child and make others sick. Im writing this review the day after because I have spent the night and morning dealing with food poisoning, I dont think I need to go into detail with that....They did seem sorry that it happened and offered to make another one (nope) and refund us. We took the refund.This is very serious, IF YOU PLAN TO EAT FOOD AT THE PARK, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING WITH CHICKEN, ESPECIALLY FOR YOUR LITTLE ONES. I personally, wouldnt trust any food there. Food safety should be a priority to any establishment and this is just scary.Id give no stars but cant....

Great place to go swimming. Not a very big place but it a great pool just for younger children and a lazy river to float and soak up the sun. Every hour they make you get out of the pool to make sure everything is clean and make sure everyone is safe. Great place to take the family on a hot day.

The loud trains nearby make the experience loud and uneasy.

Over priced and stingy on refunds. We came from Boise where Roaring Springs will refund for weather, even 15 mins before they close. It happened to us once and was a welcomed surprise. Maybe reach out and copy their buisness plan. They have been very successful in their 20 years.Also very disappointed your military discount is only for active duty and veterans. There are only 900 active duty in the entire state. Reserves and their dependents make up the vast majority of the military. Dependents sacrifice way more than the service member.

My grandkids love the pool and Ross Park is the largest in Pocatello with a small zoo also.

Clean water. Great splash pad for the little ones water slide for the bigger kids. And lazy river to float and relax . Loved it.

First time at the aquatic facility. Cost me $20 to take my two grandkids to swim as I watched. Ridiculous price for this place. Oldest grandkid went down the slide once and never went again.why? Because there was so little water flowing he had to push himself down most of it. No diving boards, packed to the point that all you could see in the lazy river was heads. What ever you do stick to the vending machines for food. All in all, what an embarrassment. This place is a RIP off.

Great swimming pool, lots of different activities. On a hot day, its been nice to swim there. Otherwise the water is a bit cold. I really hate how they make you get out of the pool every hour. Especially when you have a little one, they freeze when you get out.

Even as a adult now I go down the slide and jump on the lily pad haha.fun place for any ages.However yesterday was not the best experience. Can you please have the stairs checked to the slide more often. As I was taking my son up It was covered in pee, and smelt horrible .I get that kids go up there pees it happens. However I have never seen so much pee on them to where its visible.

We really enjoy this place. It is a great way to burn a couple hours for a decent price. They make you purchase a $3 swim diaper for children 3 and under. They also make you pay $3 for a plastic swim diaper cover. Both have to be worn while in the pools. Seems a little excessive to me but I guess its a necessary precaution.

Ross park is the best place in Pocatello to go swimming at and they have stuff for all ages

Always a fun summer activity!! We love that we can bring in our easy up and a cooler full of drinks and snacks for the kids and spend the day there!

Fun place, but kinda irritating (I understand) when you have to pay full price even though youre just there to watch your kids.On the bright side, you can bring whatever you want: food, chairs, coolers, ect...I asked why I had to pay still & it was explained that some people (basically thieves) abused the no cost watch program. It really sucks that a place has to adjust its policies because of trash types like that. Even sadder is that its just shy of socially acceptable to be that kind of person.

Went there on a cold day, but staff and everyone is friendly. I love how its half price some days. Although it seems theres not enough tubes for people can float the lazy river.

I love swimming laps here! Great scenery! It is a great pool for areas that the whole family will enjoy! The one thing to be aware of is weather and contamination closures. It is an outdoor pool, so weather is always a concern. Also the kitty pool closes 1-2/day because people dont use swim diapers and kids have accidents. Contamination closures can last anywhere from 1 hour-1 day.

Exceed my expectations! Have boys ranging in ages 4-11 they all had a blast! Lawn area was clean and maintained, property has plenty of trash receptacles. I liked the fact that we could bring in our cooler which saved us money! Entry fee was very reasonable!

Very fun for kids. Great range of things for each age of child. My only complaint is that you cant go down the slide with your kids, and there are many strange rules, like not going down the walk-in ramp to a large pool on your belly. I feel like I am in elementary school again, but one run by young rule-enforcing teenagers.

Literally, everyone has fun but the lifeguards. The office people are friendly and everyone else is friendly until you look at the lifeguards. I know youre doing your job, but make a great use of it instead of just sitting around getting paid! Smile people! Make earth great again? O.o

Place os really fun

This place is always so fun to go spend a day at in the summer. The prices are fairly reasonable and it seems like a fairly clean place to be. Lots of people complain about the hourly 5 minute pool checks but I am thankful for them so that they can check to make sure everything is okay and running smoothly.

I love all the aspects, to make it more safe for the kids, and also to make it a better top of the line aquatic center in Pocatello

A good public pool. They have a grass area and tables with chairs. But enough room for people with blankets or towels to lie down

Amazing prices for an amazing place! Only thing I disliked was the stairwell to the slide looked really sketchy and I would suggest painting the outside wall an ocean theme or something so it doesnt look like a jail cell

Olympic size pool with depth from 4 ft to 6 1/2 feet. 2 lap lanes on one end. Basketball available on one side of pool. Slide that requires an additional $1 fee per person. Lazy river by itself with plenty of tubes to float on. Kiddy pool available as well. Snack bar-nachos,fries,slushies ect...changing room with lockers.

Not going to waste my money here again. We get there and the kiddy area is closed because of a contamination. (Probably happens all the time) so my husband and i decide to put our stuff down over by the concessions and the lap pool that NO ONE was useing. And try to teach our 3 year-old some of the basics of swimming. There is no sign saying you can not use the lap pool if no one else is useing it. So we get in so we can swim across the pool without running into someone because the other half of the pool was crowed wile the kiddy area was closed. As well as keep an eye on our stuff so no one would steal it. 45 minutes later we are told we cant swim there because its only for people who want to do laps. (Technically my husband and I were taking turns swimming across the pool and not just sitting in the water) and if we had been told that someone wanted to use the pool we would have gotten out happily. But that didnt happen and I wish I could get my money back because $18 is not worth 45 minutes of swim time.

Worst place ever. They have no rules for anybody there. They have this pool called the lazy river and I couldnt even enjoy myself because people were doing cannon balls in it. I was there literally 15 minutes and left. DONT GO HERE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY

Indoor, outdoor, huge 3 story slides, huge dive platforms, all kinds of stuff for the kids at thus place... its kid oriented for sure, plenty of lifeguards.

It was well worth the 50mile each way drive. My family loved it. The price is good and there is lots to do.
