Very good place to get out into nature. Recently I visited and instead of hiking directly to the beach, I took a path that wound through a large open field and eventually came to the road leading to my final destination. The beach was extremely windy, so I followed the marsh trail instead parallel to the shore and came out at the salt pond area at low tide. What a wonderful place to shoot photos! I had the place to myself for over an hour. Highly recommend this spot photographers and hikers alike.

Beautiful tidal beach for beach combing. The kids loved finding hermit crabs, softshell crabs, and other shellfish. There are a wide range of colorful rocks. We discovered that the tidal stream is fun for the kiddos to use as a lazy river when the tide flows in or out. We used tubes but we saw kayakers doing that too. We saw piping plovers and herons. I built several Cairns.

Beautiful park along the ocean with hiking trails that take you along the beach and adjacent cliffs. Its a great place to see wildlife, there are a lot of seals in the water at the beach in the park. This is also a great place to see the sunset, which gets reflected by the marsh at the entrance to the park.

Very nice New England waterfront with a natural touch. As many have said, the beach at the waters edge is all rocks; so bring water shoes to walk in the water. There is a band of sandy beach back from the water to lay and sun bath. The walk out to the beach is very nice; lots of vegetation and birds along the way. We saw a group of seals (10-12) swimming about 50 yards off shore and watched them for nearly an hour. Bring a chair and sit and enjoy the water and smell the sea.

Hike through the woods a short distance, took us about 15 minutes leisurely, to reach the beach. We arrived earlier in the morning, the seals were still near the shore barking at each other. Very amusing to see and enjoy the wildlife. Some parts of this beach are very rocky, hiking further along the coast brings you to sandier beachfront.

A nice park. Its not overwhelming in scope but theres a nice trail with good views and an ocean/beach aspect to it. I got to see seals sunbathing on the rocks in April, great place to see them! This is a great place for looking at tidal pools and exploring, not so much for a sandy beach, although there are spots to lay blankets. Also close to good dining options in Plymouth.

Review №61

Love this place, it feels like walking into a beautiful secret. Only a few humans and the seals know. Once on the beach, take a right and there’s actually quite a stretch of beach to wander. The water has quite a few smooth rocks and stones so bring swimming / walking shoes of some kind if you’ll be in the water. Not much shade on the beach. The pleasant but lengthy path from parking lot to beach is, like Sleeping Beauty’s castle grounds, overgrown with poison ivy, so do take care. The drive in from the street to the parking area overlooking the water is rough: the road is not at all maintained and, depending on rain, you may be driving through a literal shallow pond. You can however park near the street and there is a walking path from there. If you decide not to take the hill path down to the beach and instead turn around and head back to your car, it will still have been a lovely walk with sea views.

Secluded beach in Plymouth. The recent storms from the winter of 2018 have destroyed most of the beach. Very Rocky. Seals can be seen basking on the rocks in the water. Trails to walk take you to the water. No restrooms or food/water. Great place to walk and take in the scenery.
