The monkey is a great place to see a show, film or anything else that may come by. This intimate venue could use a few more updates including better stadium seating, larger menu, accurate times, slightly better acoustics and a powerful ac system.

Weve seen two shows here so far. The employees are friendly and helpful. The seats are comfortable. The venue gives its guests an intimate view of the performance. Its unobstructed no matter where you sit. And the sound quality is spot on. This is my favorite place to see quality musicians!

Absolutely an amazing place in a very quaint and Fun Town! If you ever get a chance you must see the band foreigners Journey!

The High Kings show was AMAZING!! It was my first time at the Flying Monkey and I loved it!! It is the kind of venue perfect to see some terrific shows. I will definitely be back soon! Loved it!!

My wife and I got the VIP seats on our date night. Shout out to Bob Marley for a great show. Havent laugh that much in awhile. We were taken to our table by our waiter Bradley, who was courteous and friendly. We ordered our food and it was awesome. I had the pork chop and it was the best I had ever had. It was huge and very tender. Cant wait to do this again.

Fun throwback venue. We went to see Denny Lane. Great concert with pretty good acoustics. You can also reserve a table for dinner before the concert. Fun time.

Great music venue 5 stars for that, the theater seats in the front a LOT more comfortable than the tables. Really cramped there.The food mediocre at best, think function food, nothing prepared on site, probably should deduct 2 stars, but the music is THAT good.

Old and unique single screen theatre home to many interesting events (concerts, independent films, classic silent films, etc) with some tables for their full meals during the concerts.

Was in town with no definite plans and came to see a show on the spur of the moment. Was not disappointed! Great venue to check out. Only complaint is not knowing where to park without concern of being ticketed. Suggest talking to locals b4 heading out.

What a great experience!! Bought tickets for our 2nd show while we were there. Food was good, very cramped quarters. The acoustics were great. I highly recommend checking out a concert!

Great local theater, which seems to bring in some very good acts. We contacted the owner through a mutual friend and were able to secure two last minute seats to a nearly sold-out show. Kudos for the hands-on customer service! You must visit!

Nice old venue to catch a show. They offer dinner before shows. Plenty of decent restaurants in the area if you choose to eat elsewhere. Havent caught a movie there, so I cant venture an opinion there. Very nice staff working the shows. Like how they toss 2 monkeys and Frisbees into the crowd. My pet peeve would be that they prohibit you from going up to the stage to groove & dance. Its a concert venue, and to quote Peter Wolf, if its in ya, its gotta come out. Let em dance!!

Very nice old theater, fantastic show. Staff was friendly. Happy to see the bouncer actually policing the crowd, stopping videos and being sure the experience was as it should be. Yay for that. Just be present and listen/dance to the tunes! Free popcorn for the ride home!

If youre looking for a really unique and intimate musical experience, this is the place for you. Featuring top notch musical acts, there isnt a bad seat in the house. The service is wonderful and extra friendly, and the dinner and a show option really provides a fantastic dinner experience coupled with great music! Ive only had the most wonderful experiences here, and have been blessed to see some tremendous bands in this establishment. The acoustics are fantastic as well!! And when they are not offering music, the show silent movies and cult classics. And the throwback vaudeville decor really creates a feeling of nostalgia. Located just off Interstate 93 in lovely Plymouth, NH, this is a must go for locals, area residents, and travelers alike. I promise, you wont be disappointed!!!

The best big small place to see some of the best acts around !Dinner and a show, and you can see in a small town like Plymouth.It does not get any better than that.Ill take 500 people over 10.000 any day!Just go and see what they have yo offer.

I love the monkey for a performance venue and have been there many times. Last night was a disaster. Since we bought tickets at the last minute our only choice was dining. Never again. Cold food that took 1 1/2 hours to get to our table. Everyone in our section got cold food. Even dessert was cold and they forgot the ice cream. We could not hear the music. Waitstaff was very unorganized. They should have ensured that all food was served before they cleared other tables. With many fine dining venues in Plymouth and other towns, I would suggest that you go elsewhere and then come to the show.

Great mid-sized music venue. We had table seats in the balcony and enjoyed a great meal up there during the concert. Impressed by the quality of performers they bring in too.

What an awesome old time theater. They have a stage for bands, theater, comedy and more. They have a drop down screen for movies. What a great experience. You can eat here also with beer and wine available.

It was my first trip to the Flying Monkey and it was fantastic. We saw the Wailers which was intimate given the size of the venue. This is definately a gem in the Plymouth community. My hats off to the staff for welcoming us to what will be a new favorite. Cheers.

Great national acts in a comfy venue

Great to have a place to see good music and hear good sound in Central NH. They got 4 stars instead of 5 cuz there is no where to bring a lady up to dance and I cant quite figure that one out... Good tunes should make ya want to move!
