Tonight was my first time back to The Strand in a very long time. The renovations (so far) are beautiful. The theatre, walls and especially the rising chandelier. What a great job restoring, can’t wait to go back!

Beautifully redone theater for the arts, Jazz to drama

Love how the venue has been renovated. And the Led Zep tribute band put on a heck of a show!

This was my first time seeing a show at the Strand. We took the ferry over from VT and made an overnight of it! The staff was friendly and helpful, we had great seats, and the cost for refreshments was definitely fair! We plan on seeing other shows here in the future!

Great venue to see a show. Not a bad seat in the room. Many dinner options within walking distance. Easy parking. Classic theater setting.

Great experience last night! They featured Dave Mason,who put on an AWESOME show. Acoustics were great. Even featured local craft beer you could take to your seat. We sat in the balcony, but even from there you still had a great seat. We will be back again.

JUST saw Ronnie Earl and The Broadcasters Saturday 11/10. It was an awesome, intimate concert. Great views from the floor. Great sound TOO. Tickets were reasonably priced. They played almost two and a half hours! Wonderful experience.

So much potential, but they really need to find a more modern way to advertise to not waste out of town acts time. There shouldnt be a reason that there are regularly so many unsold seat with a decent show, all it does is just limit who wants to come to Plattsburgh in the future.

The falling and the rising was a great experience to watch. Have been in the military I felt the different emotions as they were presented through opera. Thank you strand center for the arts for bringing great performances local and in a great venue.

First time there beautiful old building.

This show was GREAT! The Machine rocked the house!

A good show except they should dig out an orchestra pit so people can dance and not block the view of people who bought $42 seats.

The show was great but we were told we could get in after 7pm for 8pm show time and werent seated until 10 of 8 with a very long wait between bands. Good acoustics.

I thought that the show (Eaglemania)was fantastic and the prices are reasonable. I do feel that the staff need to be trained not to stand in the back talking while paying customers are trying to enjoy the show. Very rude and inconsiderate. That is the only reason I gave them a 3.

We saw The Glenn Miller Orchestra this evening and they were fantastic! The North Country is so lucky to have such a gem in its midst. The Strand has been beautifully restored and offers such wonderful Arts opportunities!

Beautiful theater being brought back to life. Definitely worth a visit!

The theater was freezing absolutely no heat had to wear my jacket and mittens throughout. The speaker system left a lot to be desired unsure whether it was user error or of the system was bad. Couldnt hear for almost of first act

Doo Wop Project was great but, you really need to do something with that bar in the balcony. Its right in your line of sight. Have you ever thought of replacing with plexiglass .I know you want to keep things original but, premier seating wasnt that great.

Absolutely beautiful job with the renovations! Stadium seating but fairly comfortable.. Volunteers and staff were very helpful and courteous

The Strand Center Theatre is bring a music culture that was lacking in Plattsburgh. Robert Garcia was a great addition to the Strand, he is bring in top notch acts.

First time at the Strand and I was on the screen ! Independent film Garrow premiered in front of a packed house , first time since the 1920s it has sold out for a film . An extra showing was added for the next day . Proud to say I was apart of this historic event

Amazing theatre, outstanding architecture and history, kind staff, really no reason not to go.

We recently attended a comedy show at the Strand. It was Juston Mckinney. I would recommend his show as well. The seats we had this time vs previous events seemed to be very roomy, they were very comfortable and it was still a great view of the stage. It was in the main seating area on the left hand side, if you have your pick of seats I suggest those. They do sell small snacks and bottled water as well as beer and wine.All the staff there is very friendly and helpful.

Its so regal and elegance. I saw Breakfast at Tiffanys tonight and it was amazing to see it on the big screen. I love the movie and Im so glad they do classic movies for only $7! So worth it...

As always the Strand Center for the Arts is continuing to bring excellent programs and entertainment to the city of Plattsburgh and neighboring metropolitan areas. The restoration of the Strand Theater is the crown jewel of Plattsburgh!

I consider the Strand to be Plattsburghs Carnegie Hall. Although it is old, it is in beautiful condition, a memory of a bygone era. A facilitator for local talent, whether drama or film, the Strand always has something community relevant and entertaining going on.

Home town theater . Family owned. All kinds of cover bands comin people !! Get there !!

My youngest daughter has performed there twice and both times, The Strand has been an amazing place.

A jewel of Plattsburgh. The Strand has been restored and is absolutely beautiful. A great place to take family and friends for a night out. There have been a lot of great acts that the strand has brought to the community and enriched the Plattsburgh arts scene.
