Chapter One in Plattsburgh NY offers excellent coffee and a nice relaxing atmosphere to sit. WIFI available too. On vaca....first on list is to scout out the best coffee. Love Chris place....cozy, comfy sofas and nice selections of coffee and tea beverages as well as a few selections of morning sweets. Chris and staff are very friendly and informative. Sipping a 20 ounce Mocha right now...HEAVEN!! Coffee is very smooth no bitterness. Had 20 ounce Iced Vanilla Chai yesterday...awesome! Had a very nice subtle floral endpoint. Beans, ground coffee and tea available for purchase. DEFINITELY recommend!!

Just went here for my first time and was blown away! I love this place! I wasnt sure what I wanted so the man working at the time was very helpful in telling me whats popular! Very comfortable rustic setting which is my favorite! 10/10 would go again and probably will soon!

If you didnt know better, youd think this iced soy latte was made at some upscale cafe in a major urban city. Nope, its made right here in Plattsburgh at a trendy coffee shop that makes GOOD coffee. Love this shop bc their hours make sense, the aesthetic is on point, & you cant beat this latte anywhere in the region.

Great natural light. Beautiful local art work. Tasty cappuccinos. Thriving plants. Good music. Comfy sofa. Reasonable prices. Large and airy. Nice ambiance! Check out angel horses and cornucopias on ceiling.

Beautiful café with lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches. Theres a free little library, a little knick knack shop and I believe I saw some boardgames to choose from. I love the changing artwork on the walls each time I come in and I love the choice of different types of seating to choose from. I usually order a different drink each time and Ive never been disappointed. The baked goods are always fresh and delicious as well. Very glad to have this as an addition in Plattsburgh.

My new favorite place to get a great coffee, latte, lemonade, and locally made baked treat. The atmosphere and staff are both lovely. Spend an hour enjoying the outdoor tables and view of the Saranac River. What a treat!

My family LOVES chapter one. The atmosphere is outstanding and the coffee tastes delicious. Tracey and Chris have created this with a lot of attention to detail.

This place is absolutely amazing. The raspberry iced tea was the best I’ve ever had. Prices are very reasonable Also a very modern atmosphere for relaxing or hanging out w a friend.

Awesome coffee, atmosphere, and staff. Hands down the best coffee in Plattsburgh. Nitro Cold Brew, lattes, and all that yummy caffeine goodness you’d want in a local coffee hotspot. Besides having amazing coffee and tea they also have cute merch. Enamel pins, stickers, paper goods, and pencils.

Stopped for a coffee break on the way back from Montreal.. hands down THE BEST cappuccino ive ever had.. lonely planet where are you? this is a must visit

The Pumpkin spiced latte is amazing! I even picked up a Chapter One sticker and put it on my computer. If I could have a pumpkin bar every day of my life I’d be happy.

I love this little hidden gem of a coffee shop. Nothing like a hot cup of coffee, or a latte made just how I like it when I am looking around for a good book, or stopping in to work on a home work assignment for college. The staff is friendly and well informed about the products they carry, and I always appreciate that.

This is the best coffee in Plattsburgh.As much as Id like it to remain a hidden treasure in the public library, it would be wrong for me to not share this with you... This gift.I should warn you. Every other coffee from now on is going to taste horrible. And theyre closed on Sundays so expect that to be the worst day of the week, worse than Mondays.Try the Mocha. Youre welcome.

Get the chai - its so good! And then go back for the London Fog. Also, I am seriously so sad I missed Maple Weekend - Salted Maple Latte?! Thats my jam!! There are three words that come to mind whenever I think of Chapter 1: Apple. Cider. Donuts.
