Pretty flat trail, easy for riders who want a leisurely bike ride

Its a nice park in the bike trail runs right through it you can ride it down past the stadiums casino and all the way to the old penitentiary

Great place to bike kayak boat launch canoe. Its safe and both pet and family friendly, highly recommended for people that love biking

Just the best place. Great walk in the river trail to the city and generally dog friendly. You can find little fishing spots all the way to downtown.

This is an AWESOME place to go and spend the day fishing, walking, or just relaxing in the sun. You can also fly drones here, which is great because you can get some beautiful pics and videos. It looks a little sketchy when you get down there, but we have never had any issues.

This is a great place to go have a picnic. Nice tables and the water is nice to look at!

Good place to walk but be mindful of the bikers. Could be a little cleaner but thats hard when the river brings things ashore. Also, there are some homeless people that live right off the trail. They keep to themselves and appear to be harmless

That fence they installed as you enter is a piece of art my pet.and I love it I live in the city but cant get into one of our parks we come there doggie bags I even pick trash up as we are walking its wonderful city could learn something

Came here for a geocache and found a lot of others parked for either running or biking.

Nice resource, but very little cover on the immediate section of the trail... and road noise from Rt. 28 is overwhelming.

Great stop for the food truck pop up!

It was nice that they had food trucks parked outside, so that you could get a quick bite to eat. The only problem was that the food was okay. After hearing my friends rave about Milvale Riverfronts food truck stands, I had set my bars pretty high. Even the food was not spectacular, the scenery was beautiful.

Attended a festival with music and food trucks. Good size crowd in attendance and the park was still pretty clean. Good access to the river. Pedestrian access from the main street all the way to the park was safe and direct!

Theyve done a great job fixing up and creating such a wonderfully, welcome addition to this riverside community. Biking or hiking, or just taking Fido and the fam for a stroll. All will enjoy..

Really cool new Food Truck Park. Lots of great food trucks scheduled all the time. Its an on going renovation but totally enjoyable the way it is. You definitely want to check it out.

A great place to access the river for boating and fishing as well as the river front cycling and walking trail that can take you all the way to down-town Pittsburgh. There are pavilions as well as food truck events and public restrooms.

Perfect spot to start a bike ride or a walk/run along the river into the north side. 1 star lost because they have bathrooms but are never open.

Great for biking and hiking and general outdoor FUN

I came to the Millvale Riverfront Park for the taco take over event. The event was really nice and well put together. There were lots of food trucks at the park and also throughout the town. There was also live music. My only complaint was the lack of parking I end up parking very far away. I will give the organizers of the event credit since they did state that there would probably not be enough parking. I would say the actual park needs some signage or something saying that there was a dead end. I end up having to back by ¾ ton truck all the way back out of the park.

There are not any dog station along the way the only one didnt have any bags. Good thing i brought my own.

The best kept secret for bike trailsPictures are from Herrs Island. The bike trail goes around there also.

Great nature trail along iconic Allegheny and backchannel. From rope swings into river, crewing, boatdocks to cycling, hiking. Literally a mile from downtown, you could be in the middle of Appalachia...

Great place for an evening walk.

The new food truck park is growing in popularity, making it a little hard to find a seat. No real view of the river, which seems odd. But there was good music, beer, and food for a reasonable price. And lots of interesting people.

Peaceful walking trail

My grandbabies enjoy the walks.

It is easy access. Plenty of parking. Now on Friday- Sunday they will have food and beverage area right near the parking area. Also will include 30 beers on tap. Happy summer enjoy!!!

Great place to walk, jog and ride bicycles. Pavilion is the place to be for parties, picnics and family gatherings. Food truck park too. Throw in the view of the Allegheny River and cooling breezes...what better way to enjoy the time spent here.

Very nice and well maintained (if small) park. The main attractions of this park are definitely the rowing club and the heritage trail. Parking is free and theres plenty of it. The trail stretches to the North Shore which allows for plenty of money saved on city parking if youre willing to make the walk.

Its beautiful and serene place to visit.

Use this park often, lots of trail damage, poor drainage. Parking is often full to overflowing, people drive with total disregard for speed limits stop signs ect. Often lost due to etna exit. Police presence is non existent. Not very safe in my opinion

This is a really good place to park for the bike trail to downtown. They do not have restrooms here though. They keep them all locked! I would pay to have them open. Come on!

Parking is at a premium, did not realize that not every food truck is there all the time. Not impressed with the ones that were there, except for truck that sold the vegans rice or noodles with your choice of meat or seafood. Im sure Im misspelling the name, but was something like Kongi. Also a great price. I will return when there are other places there. Also there was live entertainment, but not much seating.

Bikers are rude. Just saying heads up people.

Very fast friendly service

The foodtruck park was a nice scenic stop, but a lot of variety there. It tends to get pretty windy if the weather isnt cooperating. I would highly suggest stopping there for a refreshment and some hot food!

Perfect to ride a bike to outdoor walking

Park isnt really anything to out of the ordinary...not really a park with playgrounds etc but has a large covered picnic grove, a gazebo, and an open view of the river. It is one if the entrance points to a nice paved/crushed gravel biking/walking trail etc (dogs are welcome). If you start here you can ride into the north shore area and past the stadiums, casino, submarine at the science center, the water steps (which are great for kids or dogs that want a little cool off in the summer), and you get a nice view of the river for much of the way. If you go from here toward the north shore and until the end its about 6 miles and so if you do that and come back it will be a total ride of about 12 miles. Its mostly flat so great for starter bikers and kids.

Nice park, simple, bike trail connects it to pgh so great place to park for a day and bike to and around town, also park and walk to pirate games, other city events. had a family event at pavilion too. restrooms available. good parking.

Nice little walking and running path by Allegheny River

Parking stinks for people that have boats at the marina or their guests. Bicycle riders should have a different designated lot.

We love to take our bikes down to this park and take the trail to the North Shore - there is convenient parking and access to the trail. A picnic structure provides shelter if you need it, it would be nice to have an event there.

Food trucks are pricey, but that is their nature. Great atmosphere and dog friendly!

Not the easiest place to find. Some young guy then proceeded to harass me about the put in being a private launch when it clearly was marked with a rivertrail paddle. 8 mile round trip from Millvale park to Point State park . Others at the dock were very friendly and helped me get out of the water.

Millvale is growing into a growing and thriving community and Millvale Riverfront Park is a huge part of that with many events and activities.
