One of the best Magic Shows we been to.It was a lot of fun. The performer is right in front of you the entire time and there is not a bad seat. The shows sell out at about 50-60 people, so everyone is pretty close. Get your tickets in advance to make sure it is not sold out. They had free drinks (pop, water, and flavored sparkling water), but it is also BYOB, if you wanted alcohol.Very nice atmosphere. You are surrounded by magic props including a working fortune telling machine. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Your “ticket” can be a little keepsake. If you upgrade for the VIP, which is not that much, you get to go in the back room for some additional tricks as well as a meet and greet (and our ticket was a key instead of the normal playing card). We would definitely go again. Magicians rotate in and out every month or two (so far), so you can get a different show with new magicians.

Theres not been a show I havent thoroughly enjoyed, twice. Get the subscription. It basically gives you a free show for buying the rest in advance. If you go to one show from any of the performers, youll be making plans to return. The little bump in ticket price for the VIP experience is absolutely worth it. Seats are not bad anywhere, but being in the front row makes the magic extra special.

What an awesome show! I attended the Life and Death of Harry Houdini and it was excellent!! Lee Terbosic a local Pittsburgh magician does an excellent job not only entertaining but also dazzling the audience with comedy and magic. I really enjoyed the show and look forward to seeing his upcoming Houdini documentary. It’s a small venue and it adds to the interacting with the artist. At the end he shares his journey with you and it makes adds to the show. I was a fan of his instantly. Will definitely attend another showing like this.

One of kind venue. One of a kind experience. This place is awesome and we are lucky to have such a cool spot in Pittsburgh. Been their twice and impressed each time. The staff is top notch the talen is world class and the opportunity to see best in class close up magic is unmatched. Highly Recommend.

Im so excited that we have a venue specifically designed for close-up magic in Pittsburgh. The venue is the perfect space for magic. Its intimate and very well planned. The look and feel of the theatre are great and the performance (Eric Jones) was wonderful! The Skeleton Key tickets are the way to go! Once we did that, we never went back. In addition to the first show in the intimate (around 70 seats) theatre, you get an extra show in the back in a SMALLER room where the magician answers questions and you get to meet them and see more magic up close. I cant recommend Liberty Magic enough!

Liberty magic is one of the most unique experiences in an intimate crowd setting that you can find. Next to big cities such as Las Vegas, New York, show stopping and unique features brought in from all over the world. BYOB $5 a person. You must get tickets in advance as they always sell out because its such a small crowd.

I have driven and/or walked by this place several times and was always curious about it. I decided to get my husband tickets to see Eric Jones for his birthday. What a super cool little place this is. The decor is excellent and feels super whimsical - a lot of old time magic props. My husband and I used to come to this theater when it was Arcade Comedy Theater...they have totally transformed the space! Its amazing. The staff was very nice. Complimentary water and pop were provided, and you can BYOB if you want alcohol. The theater is a very intimate environment - truly not a bad seat in the house. I think it makes the experience extra magical. I highly recommend doing the VIP experience as it does not cost much more and is a lot of fun. Will definitely return.

Liberty Magic is AMAZING! Since they opened a year ago, my boyfriend and I have seen four different shows, and brought my parents with us twice. You can’t argue with a venue that brings in world class magicians, but allows you to be within four rows of the action, and for such a reasonable price! In such a small venue, the magician interacts with everyone, and they can’t hide much!I’ve recommended Liberty Magic to everyone I know. My mind has been blown repeatedly by magicians producing bowling balls from thin air, refilling cans of coke, and getting cards into bottles while an audience member is holding it... also, these shows are FUNNY! So really, you’re getting both a magic show and a comedy show for the price of one!I foresee us coming back for every show this year! Hopefully we’ll be able to snag some VIP tickets to get our own private show afterwards!

This was something completely new that I had never done before. And it absolutely blew my mind away. It was so much fun and very Interactive. I absolutely loved it. And that night I went home and bought tickets for my father for Fathers Day and my brother for his birthday. And they have since gone to two different shows and loved them also. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is something totally different & I dont know of anywhere else in Pittsburgh like this. You will have a great time whether or not youre very into Magic.***Also, tidbit of info.... it is BYOB. I think there is a 3 or $5 corkage fee. So, bring yourself some , sit back, have a few drinks & thoroughly enjoy yourself.

So delightful, it made me want to move to Pittsburgh! Robert Ramirez does it all: sings, dances, and, of course, does a little magic. The real magic, though, was in weaving together multiple arts into a cohesive, enjoyable show that made me wonder, but also chortle, giggle, chuckle, and another synonym for laugh. Overall, a great experience!

In a word-- awesome! 60 seats means youre almost part of the act. And I STILL couldnt figure out his sleight of hand tricks. Lee Terbosic is a performance you dont want to miss. The VIP tickets were well worth it, the personal one-on-one with Lee at end of show. He was almost giddy when talking about the times he spent with his idol David Copperfield and visiting Houdini s house in Harlem and narrating his photos. And yes, he even escaped fro the straight jacket upside down.Houdini himself would be proud of his legacy performance.Remember 2 words -- believe & Roosevelt.

The venue itself is beautiful, and really adds to the experience. It is small, which is great for the up-close, detailed type of magic. The extra $ for the after-show personal Q&A with the magician is really worth it!. It all seems very personal, but not at all invasive for those who dont like to be part of the show themselves. Good magic show for all!

This venue just opened recently and is absolutely awesome. Only about 60 seats and 4 rows so you are right up front in the magic no matter where you sit. MIND... BLOWN!You absolutely HAVE TO GO. Liberty Magic has been needed in Pittsburgh for years. Finally our area has again become a destination for big fantastic acts. We no longer have to go to New York, Vegas, L.A. to see world renowned magicians.Prepare to be WOWED.Only 4 or 5 rows in the small, intimate theater space makes for the best magic show experience money can buy. Over half of the audience was used in the show; amazingly included in the laughs, gasps, and overall enjoyment.Very proud of Pittsburghs own Lee Terbosic and what he has helped to create here. This place brings to light what a speak easy is! From the outside street of liberty viewing the inside one would not think that this is a small theatre inside. You walk in it looks as though you are greeted by a magic shop. You walk through the curtain to see many forms of whimsical childlike magic memorabilia lining the walls along with a working Zoltar machine. Just make sure you don’t make a wish to be BIG before the show or you might not fit ,as you turn the corner to be greater by four rows of chairs.Childlike wonder filled me as ushered myself to my seat and saw my name printed on a tag to show where my seat was located!Perfect for close up magic the small venue is definitely intimate experience you will never forget. I will most definitely be coming back again and hope that the cultural trust will keep this venue alive and hopefully grow to offer more and more magicians as well as things other than nightlife for the community and bring back the spark of the child in all of Pittsburgh including children alike.

Its worth it and really enhances a personal experience. The combination is truly something we cant say weve done. Its a modern, intimate, and immersive.Eric Jones is first class act and in a couple of hours you get a glipmse to his work and art and learn hes also a great human, an artist with a passion for his craft... And hes willing to share it in a close setting.Part of me doesnt want this secret to get out, but expect many see this as a different, very enjoyable night out.
