A fantastic place for dance education. All the teachers are wonderful but the director, Brittany is not only warm and caring, but sets a very high bar for the instruction given and the expertise of the instructors while at the same time not introducing a high pressure, highly competitive environment. Both of my daughters who took classes here over the years enjoyed their classes and grew as dancers. Bonus - the recital is very well run and an interesting show even when your dancer isn’t on stage.

KDA offers excellent quality dance instruction in a fun and nurturing environment! Students learn a variety of dance styles from experienced teachers and have the opportunity to perform in beautiful productions each year. Overall a great place for aspiring dancers to grow and learn!

My daughter has enjoyed several types of classes at Kimberton Dance Academy since Aug of 2013. Instructors emphasize proper technique in a manner that continually encourages her learning while providing individualized instruction based on her skill and goals. Several different types of performance experiences are available through the KDA performance group and classes are small. Highly recommend a visit to KDA, it will exceed any expectations!

As a retired dancer, I struggled to find a place in this area for my daughter to learn and grow when she decided she wanted to get serious about dancing. My 10 year old daughter has been training at this wonderful school since the age of 7, I only wish we had found KDA sooner! This gem of a school provides pre-professional ballet training, as well as modern, contemporary, lyrical, tap, jazz and hip-hop. The quality of instruction is high, and focuses on foundational, placement-focused technique to prevent future injury-- turn out is not forced...it is worked on! Brittany Ryan, the AD, strikes an excellent balance of giving each and every dancer individualized training and attention while maintaining all the necessary components that come along with the business of running a ballet school. The environment is nurturing and caters to those who want to dance intensively while still remaining welcoming to those who just want to dance for fun. The facility is clean, with lots of natural light, large studios with excellent flooring, and is conveniently located in the heart of Phoenixville. KDA is also affiliated with SVRDC, and offers dancers the opportunity to audition for the annual Nutcracker performance every December-- truly the best caliber Nutcracker in this area! I highly recommend you check out this school!
