Been going to Simons for all my life. They are essential to the neighborhood. Employees are extended family.

I taken my daughter ice skating for her birthday. Everyone had a great time! Staff was very friendly

Great recreational center and playground

One of Phillys better recreation centers. The hockey/ice skating rink is awesome. Only draw back are the continuing trash dumps around the facility .

I was there to vote the line I was in stood in from a little after 1:00 until 4:45 never in my life have i ever waited that long to vote. Please open back up my regular voting place.

Monday night 8pm $6 fitness camp is awesome. Will have you really working up a sweat.

This place is my childhood. Definitely have expanded since I was young. Beautiful facility. They just really need to fix those swings in the park. And maybe place more No Smoking signs.

Wen I was young they had a roller skating ring and I loved it.

Great recreation center for the kids and Adults as well

I grew up in West Oak Lane, & Simons Community Recreational Center was a haven for children in the neighborhood to come for different community activities. I played many games on the basketball courts, & on the field.. It’s upsetting to see that it’s not as popular as it was back then in the day. The for the current youth of the neighborhood don’t have many places like that for them to go. That has to change.

Great place to ice skate with the family! Wonderful playground and fields it back too. We had a blast! Free to get in to skate and just $4 to rent skates! Cant beat it!

Five star facility with indoor basketball courts and a new ice hockey rink. Multiple classes offered in dance, karate and more. Must see.

My kids go here with they good sisters its awesome they have gymnastics there and I think other activities as well

Every Monday 8pm Fit camp is awesome!!! Super positive energy and a great workout. High fives are a normal here.

My children love the place. They go there all the time. And my daughter takes her day care children there all the time.

I myself have been to Simons many many many times with my friends and I love it. Only thing that bothers me is that teens smoke weed there but other than that Simons has a lot to do. In and outside.

They have a nice park but just no swings

A well-run center, with friendly staff (except for one high-schooler, who thankfully seems to have moved on), diverse programming, an enclosed junior rink and numerous basketball games going on at all times. Snack bar hours are spotty, and there are no options for learn-to-skate sessions that are early enough for young children, but on this citys budget, I expected much worse than what Donnell and his crew have provided since I became aware of the center.

There are no longer swings which is sad. Everything needs a makeover here.

The recreation center may be nice but I refuse to take my kids here anymore. The kids are almost never supervised by an adult so they are free to curse and behave badly.The teens come to hide from there parents and also do whatever they want and the worst part is that the locals use the tennis courts to store their pitbulls until they are done doing whatever.Its a shame because i like nearby.

Easy to locate but no parking.

They only had baby swings and half of them were broken and we could not get inside to use the water fountain and it was like 97°

A drug infested public playgroung where we have has numorous shootings and a rape and couple assaults this playground is breeding ground for local drug dealers and prostituion not for for children or family looking for recreation non police presence and they know whats going on there been happening for years even state Rep Dwight Evans office knows whats going on in this ceatpool they call a recreation center
