Such a great Rec! I have sent my three daughters there for Pre-School. The people who work there are very nice and most def make u feel like family! The gym is huge and is def used in great ways! My fincee practices his basketball games there and we never had any issues!

This place is pretty decent its not as drug-infested as some of these neighborhood playgrounds and it look pretty clean

This playground really needs to be updated. Parts of it seem unsafe due to old equipment remaining and uneven ground.

They have an indoor basketball court, but every time I want to ball up they ALWAYS give me a hard time when it comes to letting me play there. Its city property, and therefore I have the right to play basketball if I want to play basketball.Samuels never gives me any grief with this.

Nothing super great, has the basketball court and the huge open field attached. Basically the same stuff from 20 years ago. The swimming pool, little playground, indoor rec, etc. Like I said before about Pops Playground, it would be nice if the city would redo ALL the neighborhood playgrounds, instead of just picking and choosing.

There summer camp program is awesome and the counselors are great

The fields are well kept but the playground area needs some rehab. The pool is one of the best kept secret, never over crowded especially during adult swim. The rec center itself has a variety of youth programs from dance to soccer. Overall a decent little recreation center. Id give it more stats if the basketball area and playground were in better shape.

Terrible! Absolutely disgusting, the kids who hang there are bullies, ghetto disrespectful theocrats. The people who work there they to keep them away but its near impossible. If u dont walk ur child to the bathroom they will probably follow them to the restroom and mess with them. The playground is broken, the rubber floor is ripped up and even if it was not rusted and broken its not even fun for the kids.

Needs updating. Old and outdated. Very uncomfortable place to watch your childs basketball game. Bathrooms are trashed and filthy.

The foul language out of 8 and 9 yr old kids is disgusting their parent let them talk like that too .Its a shame their parents dont care how they talk as long as they arent in their hair
