It was fun we had a good time kids were definitely at play like it is a nice park could be bigger but I understand the space. Like I said lots of fun we even ate quick snack without a problem so I liked it alot!

Carmella is the best recreation center I the whole entire earth even if something happens to it. It will still be the best of best. I think Carmella should be in the hall of fame

The playground equipment looks brand new and theres a pretty fast skating area. I think its a great recreational space for young people in the area.

Im hoping the playground gets a makeover soon, its in a really sad state. Been coming here for years. My children even did summer camp here in 2014. Lots of great space for children to run around.

A great place for children for after school programs arts and crafts music voice lessons sewing class game night movies and bingo

I was born and raise a few blocks away from Whitehall Playground and I remember back in the day they had a big pool.Well the pool is still there But its just buried..The kids these days will never know the fun with the pool and the old building that was there.And who can not forget everyones favorite Life Gruad Eric...

Great spot for relaxation

This is a great place to host events since the park is so big. Yesterday I had one with the job I had because we were celebrating the date the job first came open. We had lots of fun. Just to warn people if you sit under trees too long you will have creepy crawliers all over you. Because your next to their home. I love this park.

Iconic skatepark in Philly. Generally safe during the day. Go during night time at YOUR OWN RISK.

Play area looks absolutely abandoned I never looked like that before

Kids like it, not really a public place. You would be better off going to Glasgow park, which is a few minutes away

I like the playgrounds younger child side. Its not the easiest on your eyes. My son loved playing. Easy for him to maneuver around on his own

The elephants are cute.

No swingsets no basketball court. It is totally different and dirty. When I grew up it was called Whitehall Playground. They had everything even a pool.

Love the park but needs allot of upkeep as it isnt being maintained well at all.
