The Pendleton Roundup is a fun event to behold. The contestants and stock are top rate. The pageantry is amazing. I personally loved the portions with the Native Americans. The horse race, the dancing, and the beauty pageant were fun to behold as the other rodeos I have been to do not have that normally included and really should. I loved the Fry Bread and jewelry offered from the vendors too.

Large rodeo, if you do not have good seats you miss a lot of the events. We were in the 1st row, section F near the chutes. Could see none of the roping events. The participants and aides blocked the view completely, not their fault. Too far from the other events, bronco and bull riding totally see them well. We looked for next year for good seats that we viewed while we were there, already sold out.Smaller rodeos that we have been to are much better, St Paul, Philomoth give you a much better view.

Had a ton of fun withy parents there. A whole weekend spectacle. Very friendly people and a lot of fun. Im not a horse person but thoroughly enjoyed the passion and spectacle here.

Americana at its best. Legitimate, true western culture preserved and perfected. I love visiting Pendleton and experiencing what brought my family generations ago to Eastern Oregon. So much respect and appreciation to the residents of Pendleton for hosting this world class rodeo.

Fabulous celebration of Old West ranchhand competition. Rodeo! 108 year tradition! Entire town pitches in to welcome visitors. Something interesting to do all week long. Pendleton Woolen Mills is a must see!

The Pendleton Round-Up is always a great experience and something you can enjoy with the whole family. I like going to the rodeo on Wednesday, doing the Wednesday-only BBQ immediately after the rodeo, and then catching the Happy Canyon Night Show after the BBQ. For seating I like sitting on the North side by the chutes. My favorite is section W around row 27 for the Rodeo, and for the Happy Canyon Night Show, I like row 13.

We never miss this one! Best rodeo hands down.

BEST rodeo in the country! Grass infield levels the playing field between animal & man. Everything from the rodeo events, Happy Canyon pageant, cowboy breakfast to Westward Ho non motorized parade, Indian dances, Tepee Village, Indian Art Market to the Main Street Cowboy pedestrian mall with food, retail, & free entertainment stages to adult beverage bars is FIRST CLASS FUN! And...the whole city takes off a week to participate! A true cultural event and slice of life you wont find anywhere else!

Always a good time at the Rodeo. Watching Slack today. Its the preliminary rounds of competition to whittle the field of entrants down. The best times move forward to higher rounds. Team roping and barrel racing today. Tie down roping, steer wrestling, and two other events tomorrow. Actual rodeo competition starts Wednesday for four days. Let er buck!!

Normally I would say it was wonderful. I have always been a really big fan of rodeos and have gone to them all my life. Being constantly followed and harrassed however made it terrifying. I was working with Rover Security in the beer tent which was not really eventful. However drunk cowboys would be much easier to deal with than that.

Great rodeo and well put together. Located in a great little town. Would come again if I get a chance to.

It was great! Just want to mention that general admission means you cant sit anywhere and its difficult to watch the rodeo.

First time going was this year and cant believe I passed it up every year before! Be forewarned: the Let er Buck room is basically a huge mass of older men who think youre body is up for grabs literally. So dont go in unless youre down for a wild time. The Indian horse races and cow milking are both hilarious to watch.

Post Malone concert was awesome. Easy access to food and drinks. Restrooms werent as busy. The music was clear and could hear it from far away.

My family and I had a great time here. Loved the PBR, Happy Canyon Show and Round Up today. Nice people in town.

This place rocks always has 100 + years. I have been fortunate to be married into a family generation that has participated in since the begining. We go with family to this great event yearly thank you Lisa!

Their security company Rovers Security, employee Cassandra Cason escorted me to the gate because she said my dog for whom Ive got a prescription to have and I presented it to her, claimed that a dog that provides maintenance of physical and mental health did not qualify to be in the Octoberfest venue. First of all I didnt raise my voice or anything which would make you think I couldnt be trusted to take my dog out on my own. This felt disrespectful to me. I did explain that because you cant see what it is in me going on doesnt mean it doesnt exist. In this day and age of trying to be more aware of the importance of mental health i just wanted to take this opportunity to make a point. There are many mental and physical needs for canine support. Can’t hear the loudspeaker system...no one else either!!! I talked to 50 plus people about it thinking I was the only one who could’nt tell what was being said. They all agreed. The awards ceremony was absolutely worthless cuz not one word could be heard. Great rodeo; just need to overhaul the PA system. I’m sure the clown was fun but what did he say??

Did not partake in the actual Rodeo, but attended the PBR. The entertainment lasted right under 3 hours and it was non-stop. Well put together performance and consisted of top bullriding professionals. I recommend going, its well worth the money. This is alcohol friendly event and food vendors provide the normal hamburger/ hotdogs.

We go all 4 days and really enjoy the events. Really disappointed in the prices of everything. I really feel that seniors and children should be given a break on ticket prices. Yes I realize the contestants need to be paid, but some times on the slower days if people are given a reduced price the stands might get filled. One of the best.

Best rodeo on the planet. The week long event is outstanding big name country music concerts 2 days of PBR then capped off with a 4 day rodeo (more bull riding) plus one of a kind barrel racing. The booths (shopping) and food is literally everything you can imagine. From Indian Tacos to Oriental to good old foot long bacon wrapped hand dipped corn dogs. Second full week in September. The Pendleton Roundup was a lot of fun. There are a lot of vendors to check out with a great variety of goods. I enjoyed the rodeo side of the event. I like the bull riding & the barrel racing. I barrel raced in my younger years so this is always a great event for me. People were nice & helpful directing me around. The Happy Canyon show was well done & showed me a lot I didnt know about Native American culture. It was a real treat. I recommend the Pendleton Roundup to people of all ages for a fun time.

Didnt actually attend the Roundup, which must be quite an experience. But we did enjoy walking around and visiting the museum and gift shop.

A treasure of Pendleton, rodeo and cultural event. The Happy Canyon show is a great wild West show that doesnt gloss over the tragedy of the Indians. Even though its sometimes goofy, the notion of a shared history that belongs to all is showcased by the fact that local people are the stars of the show.

The Roundup is always a blast! Its one for the bucket list. Even if you arent into the rodeo scene there is plenty to see and do. Its only 3 times a year that the little town of Pendleton is a destination and this is the top event. A must see!
