Both of our sons (2 & 3) have been taking lessons here with various instructors as they have advanced through the program. Our boys absolutely love it here and ask to go swimming all the time. They have been amazing with our kids. It still amazes me to watch my 2 yr old float all by himself, lol.

I just wanted to say Mr. Mark has done a fabulous job with our Gabby. We are super pleased beyond words. Mr. Mark continues to go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable as she learns how to swim...I must say that after 3 different swimming franchise locations in Pearland, there was not one facility that could help her gain her confidence to not being afraid of the water. Mr. Mark deserves a HUGE recognition...We will continue to have Gabby attend Houston Swim Club as long as Mark continues to be her teacher...

My daughter had a near drowning experience and the staff, including her instructor Ms. Anna, have been patient and understanding through this process. Ms. Anna has allowed my daughter to become comfortable in the water again, all while teaching her to swim . Its alot to go through as a family, yet the staff at Houston Swim Club have helped provide us some relief as we take comfort in knowing shes in good hands. I highly recommend this place! Thank you again!

Dont appreciate an instructor asking my 6 year old why was she late 4 minutes. Mom had to get gas and went to your facility and after the lesson, my 6 year old said that her instructor asked why she was late. If theres a problem, talk to the parent and not a 6 year old. Also, better cover up your nose with your mask or Theyll freak out.

The instructors are good, but class size is crowded (4 students for a 30-min lesson) if you select good instructors. The only time that you can have a reasonable class size (2-3 students) is during the early morning/noon time which is hard because most parents have to work and only available after work hours. During some lucky days that my daughter was the only student due to the other kids were not showing up, then the instructor only taught her 20 min and released her :(.Although there is a new policy saying we can schedule unlimited make-up days but most of the people at front desk staff made it hard for us to do make-up. They kept on questioning every time.Overall I like Houston swim club for the beginning of my daughter’s swimming lessons. Currently I find private lessons and would continue her learning with private lessons after her 10 months with the club.

My daughter has been taking swim lessons since she was 3 year old. At the time she was fearless around water and was always jumping in. We decided to make sure she was safe around water. And start her in swim lessons. Houston Swim Club was highly recommended to me. She started off with a Guppy everyday session for 2 weeks. And Mr. Chris had her floating on her second day. She loved it so much that we did back to back everyday sessions for about 3 months. After that I enrolled her in twice a week swim lessons. She is now 8 years old and still loves attending swim lessons. She has had pretty much every instructor there, and she loves everyone of them. I highly recommend Houston Swim Club if you are looking for a place for your children or yourself for swim lessons. This is the place for you. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. All of their instructors are highly trained and are always striving to better themselves

My oldest two children started their ever first swimming lessons here and I was very thrilled with how fast theyve learned, both at the age of 3. (Theyre 12 and 9 years old now). With my third child, camila However, we waited too long to give her the lessons; to the point were shes never removed her floaties when were in the pool. Shes always scared to learn with any of us. So, I decided to finally enroll her here at the Pearland location. To my amaze, even on the first day that shes able to put her head under water, Camila finally learned how to swim! Her instructor, Sydney, was extremely great with her. Shes kind, patient, and super gentle with her. All very important attributes that helped Camila put her full trust in her. All the staff there as we watched, seem very empathetic with the students and all are patiently working with each kid. Were super grateful of the wonderful experience, HSC has continued to give our family. You all are the best and may God bless you all!!!

Our son has been going to Houston Swim Club since he was 5 months old, and now at 2 years old, he is very comfortable and knowledgeable in the water. He can easily float by himself, use his hands to pull himself along the side of the pool and can grab the side to pull himself up after floating. He LOVES going to swimming every week, and just a month ago he moved into a class ahead of his age due to his abilities! All the instructors weve had have been so supportive and patient, and our son has enjoyed working with all of them.As parents with a pool in our backyard, we have so much peace of mind knowing that our son has water safety skills already, and will continue to develop into a great swimmer as we keep going to Houston Swim Club!

I have 2 daughters that both started here when they were 4 months old. The oldest has gone through their entire program, swims like a fish, and loves the water. She was floating on her back and swimming across the pool by the time she was 2yr. My youngest is still in mommy--me classes and loves her swim time. Shes so excited to come to class. Cant recommend them enough for swim lessons.

I like this club. Very courteous staff and great instructors. My daughter loves it. The only problem I have and the reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because I think its a bit over crowded. Im not sure if its because of the time she has class is the busiest time but the pool is just way too overcrowded. While one group of kids are getting instructed you have the more advanced kids swimming everywhere. Therefore the instructors with the bigger classes have to wait for all the other swimmers to move out of the way in order for them to continue their class. Now if the class was longer it probably wouldnt matter but 30 min that the kids have and having those interruptions it makes a big difference as the kids are taught one by one. It would be great if they would have separate classes or separate pools so they can have more space to teach the kids.

For 7 months, it was was weekly routine to take both of our kids to HSC Pearland. Then we made a big mistake when we decided to increase the number of classes per week knowing we would be out of town for a week. Our option was to NOT sign up for more classes until we returned to town, or to sign up then and did the makeup classes later. We were encouraged to sign up right away. Big mistake we chose the latter. Despite of our best efforts to learn as much as possible about makeup classes, when time came for us to schedule makeup classes, nothing went as we originally planned and told. Multiple staff with various versions of rules, a matter of whom you talk to. The last one we talked to was Dayna and she certainly enraged us even more. This place is good if you have absolutely no need to communicate with the staff. Earlier we had one strange episode when our kids was asked to move to another schedule due to overlooking. What a bizarre experience. Overall, we love some teachers there and absolutely hate the interaction with the front desk staff and the fact of throwing money into the water. As some other reviewers said, here were other swim clubs around. No need to be stuck here.

They have, so far, great swimming instructors , BUT they need improvement on customer service. They are great on receiving your debit/credit card BUT slow on responding to your request for evaluation. Some front desk staff, not all, need to be trained how to handle customers who may be first time parents, worried/anxious parents, parents of color, or even parents of gender. They need to respond professionally to inquiries and SHOULD NOT give unwarranted comments when they are NOT the swim instructors of the actual child.

I am a Nana. My 2 grandchildren ages 3 & 5 at the time took classes at this place. If you can take classes in the early morning or mid day things are much more calm as you can imagine. You can stay and watch, even though you will be frightened....as you know we all want to make sure they dont fall in and drown ! It teaches them to pay attention to their teachers. There are some scary moments for parents or grandparents, but you do not need to be drama queens....cause it will cause the kids to be too. The first session of lessons was them learning about putting their head underwater and realizing they were not going to drown, and kicking, and the right arm movements. We took a second session and then they were off to the races !!DO THIS for the kids ! You will be forever thankful. Remember EVERYONE thinks their child should be the STAR of the show, not just yours. Enjoy your summerKathy MMAY/2017

The front desk staff at this place has really bad attitude. There was never a time I spoke to one them, except Ms. Lindsey, that I liked the way they responded. They have no positive attitude even when you are just coming to make a pyment. I walked up to the counter today and said Hello, the young lady who didnt even look up to me, said give me one moment and she never returned my greeting after that. I tried to ask questions about the fall package they are offering , I got short answers and a look that says are you an idiot, what part of this you dont understand , I was trying to do the math to see if was worth it. And, Every time i call to schedule a make up class, they talk to me with a menacing tone. Its like they dont want people who ask questions, just agree and shut up. This rating though is just the staff, I have been very happy with all the instructors we had.

My baby took a couple swimming classes here. Yes, I might bring my child again.. and Im not trying to be mean or anything but I will make sure not to get Ms. Taylor as the instructor. Its totally understandable to communicate with the student and Its obviously needed so the student can understand all instructions but the conversations with students were really excessively; Ms. Taylor can talk, talk, talk, and talk!

My 3 children (6, 5, and 2) have been members of HSC for 4 years now with all 3 starting in parent-child classes. From day 1, my kids have felt safe and excited about going swimming with Ms. Lexi...or Ms. Brit...or Ms. Casey...or Mr. Anthony! Because of HSC , I can officially say my children have never worn floaties in a pool setting, and we have pools in our backyard and family backyards. They know how to safely navigate swimming pool environments, and my wife and I can comfortably introduce them to any water environment (water parks, lakes, rivers, beaches, etc).My 2 older daughters just completed their first season as members of a WHALe Summer Swim team in the 6 & Under age group. Their coaches, who have swam and coached collegiately, asked me after the first practice where my girls learned their swimming techniques?. I proudly told and recommended them to Houston Swim Club! One coach is enrolling her 3 year old daughter as soon as the season ends for her.HSC has incredible instructors teaching in a terrific swim lesson environment using tested and certified techniques that are proven to work. Proud to be part of it!
