This facility opens at 5 and closes at 9. Has showers with hot water. Plenty of free parking and has a handicap access. Has zero depth warmup pool for kids and learners. Expert or beginner, for as long as it stays open there is always a lifeguard on duty. The membership is cheap, i got for 3 in my family for only $46 a month. This price is for swimming pool only. Its double that if you want to include the whole recreation center.

What a great facility for the residents of Pearland! The pool area is very nice with 3 separate pools and lifeguards on deck. The recreation center had basketball courts, handball courts, weight room, spin room, aerobics room, and indoor track. There might have been other facilities that I did not see. I also observed a martial arts class in progress.

This is a great place for casual swimming or lap swimming.The dive well is fun for all ages. And for those young ones who are too small, the kiddy pool is heated with a water slide.

It is time to reopen. Every local gym is open, yet the Rec Center remains closed. I have personally asked why...and when can opening be anticipated. The response thus far.....crickets.

Very good quality facilities (basketball court, racquetball, pickleball, swimming pool, gym, indoor track) for a really good price. I also love how they dont charge for vacation or if you want to pause your membership. Overall really happy with it. Only concern is the showers; very small space and sometimes there isnt any hot water. Other than that I enjoy my membership with them.

Didnt go in. Just watched the Pearland 4 July fireworks from the parking lot. But from past experience they have a great pool for lap swimming and quite a bit of resistance machines along with free weights. Helpful staff. Clean and organized. Good family rec center.

I come almost everyday. The basketball courts are very nice and the weight room is in great condition. I dont use the track much but it is great as well. They also have a racquetball court, a kid zone, a teen zone, and a swimming area with 3 pools and diving boards; as well as swimming lanes. Great place.

It is clean, it has lockers to place your stuff in, you can bring your own lock or borrow one from the facility and return when you leave.

Our family loved going here! We went probably two nights a week and ran around the track or swam in the Natatorium. The staff was nice and friendly, and the track was clean. The only problem I ever had was that the whole building smelled like chlorine due to the pool. I havent been here in a while, so Im not sure how it is anymore.

The swimming pool was decent. The chlorine in the pool is too strong for me. They provide basketball courts, gym, rocket ball, etc. I like to go here during the summer when it is scorching hot outside and I wanted to exercise.

The appearance of the facility itself is very nice. At its core the rec center is definitely geared to families with children, kind of like a Y. Organized classes & activities are plentiful. If focus is use of the gym/weight room expect sketchy policy enforcement depending on day and time. The gym/weight room rules are posted but often ignored (conducting phone calls while on machines, slamming and dropping weights, underage/unsupervised youth on equipment, etc). Nice variety of equipment but limited quantity due to size. Spacious track area above basketball courts, however access can be hampered during busy hours, and during events, and in our recent experience by sometimes rowdy groups of unsupervised teens or kids that staff are reluctant or just unqualified to manage. Time it right and I can get a very decent workout in during slower weekday hours. Husband went Saturday this evening but a group of 12-15 teens climbing on equipment, over railings, screaming, blocking track and he had to leave. Im a senior adult female who still works. I cannot speak for pool users. Tried it couple times but so cloudy and chlorine was too strong. Senior rates are very reasonable, just carefully choose your times for max use.

A great community center that is affordable. Great facility. Indoor swimming pool, racket ball, basketball, work out room, spin bikes and an indoor track. Clean restrooms! So much to do here. You can even drop in for a daily fee!

Its a state run rec center. Its not great but its the best pearland has to offer. The pool is closed often for meets and breaks down quite a bit.

For a City owned facility, this place is excellent. However, they seem to shut the whole place down too often. They repaint at least once a year. That may sound great, but not when they shut the whole place down just in time for my college age son to get home for Christmas. We only get to play racquetball when he comes back. Its run like a government agency not like a business. I never use the pool because its simply not relaxing in any way. Its way too hot during the summer. Everyone who swims here competitively complain about the pool. It wasnt designed right. Great for basketball, racquetball, weight lifting, and group classes. They charge way too much to rent their facilities for local groups.

During the week in the mornings is a good time to go, I never have a problem getting a machine. My kids love the kids corner.

Very nice facility. The staff very nice and friendly. The only problem was house keeper coming into the room where we were hosting our party with their carts every hour. This was inappropriate, otherwise this is a wonderful facility to host parties or dinners.

Nice received facility for the community. They have a natatorium that is great along with several basketball courts, an elevated running track and several classrooms with nice floors. I often attend the WW meetings. They have childcare also.

PRC is a wonderful facility. Always clean and organized. The workout classes are great and the natatorium is awesome. There is a play pool for kids that is completely separate from the lap pools.

Big indoor pool great for swim lessons. Nice when its cold outside. The two local highschools use it so the place stays busy. There is a gym as well.

Weekdays are filled with kids in the evenings leaving maybe a handful of lanes. Very nice pool and locker room though.

Great place to work out and have fun. Prices are very competitive compared to chain guns but the feeling it different. They also offer a variety of classes and other forms of recreation.

Its a good facility but they have too many closure of the basketball court and natatorium. Make sure to check the schedule of the courts and natatorium before going.

This place is awesome. Kids care has great staff that really seems to engage with the kids. Gym facility is small but well equipped. Indoor track is great when the weather stinks. Natatorium part is hit or missed if you can go or not. Seems every other weekend there are swim meets which means it’s almost impossible to park or get in.

Spotlessly clean and plenty of equipment. Pools are great too.

The good, facility is clean and roomy. The pools are exceptional. The bad, workout room is tiny, unorganized and needs improvement! They do not offer separate usage memberships, I only use the workout room and its a too expensive to pay for a whole membership when all I use is the workout room, they need to separate fees for particular type usage.

My son is a member of a diving team and we are blessed to be able to use the Pearland Natatorium for practice. The facility is very well maintained, and being indoor the team can practice no matter what the weather is like. There is plenty of parking places , they have two 1 meter board and two 3 meter board. The staff is very helpful and while one kid is practicing, I can spend time with the other kid in the small pool ( beach entry and a slide. ).

An excellent place to exercise. Theres much to do here, and time will fly by like nothing! The facilities are very clean, and theres a warm and cold pool. My go-to place for any workout.

Nice to have this type of facility in the town although more suited for those on the East side. They offer very little at the satellite location for those on the west side.

Very clean and affordable for an adult couple. There are a lot of classes and activities available during the day and evening that are includes in the cost of membership. The facilities are up to date and well maintained. My biggest complaint is that parents will drop their teenagers off on Friday evening and let them wander unsupervised.

Good viewing area for meets, but the air quality is bad, almost everyone in my family had burning eyes from the chemicals in the air and we never even went into the water.

I used to go there daily in the summer to avoid the heat from jogging. Unfortunately every time I go, there are always a few ppl who doesnt know how to follow the basic track rules. Walkers in the inside lanes and joggers/runners on the outside. Never fails there are always walkers on the outside lane.

Overall worth the money to join. Always clean, always have machines available. Pool is closed too much for events.

I have spent years abusing my body however it has become more difficult to ignore the trend of my waist line keeping pace with my age as I inch closer to 40 with each day. Finally disregarding my insecurities and self-envisioned gym stereotype, I took the time to visit the Pearland Natatorium. My wife and I visited on a Friday evening to gauge whether a city operated facility was comparable to the privately-owned gyms throughout Pearland. Though I read the website’s description of the 107,000 square foot facility, I was in awe of the shear size of the place on arrival. Upon entry, we were politely greeted by multiple facility staff whom seemed eager to address any needs or questions that we had. We announced that we were guest who were seeking to learn more about the facility. We were offered a guided tour however we chose to read over a facility map and literature while exploring on our own.The facility has been in operation for 8 years and is very well maintained. With the amount of traffic the facility receives, the staff does an incredible job of keeping the classrooms, hallways, workout rooms, gym, track, pool, restrooms and locker rooms very tidy and clean. Amazingly with the enormity of the facility, there is very little wasted space: each room has a purpose. The health program seemed to be a bit more inclusive when compared to privately run gyms as there is something for everyone, no matter age or ability. There were multiple class rooms dedicated to activities such as dance, aerobics, yoga and spin class. The workout area was ample and included multiple machine types for cardio and strength building. If you chose to do your cardio off of a machine, there is a multi-lane track on the second floor. There are 2 full-size competitions gyms that convert for volleyball, basketball, pickleball, etc, during designated times. The main building is rounded out with 2 racquet ball courts.Then there is the aquatic area of the building. There is an area/activity for your every aquatic desire whether it be designated lanes for laps, water aerobics, or wading and relaxing. For the more adventurous types, there are low and high element diving platforms and/or spring boards. My only word of caution in this area; if you have a sensitivity to smells, the chemicals used to treat the pool have a strong odor. It is an enclosed pool area after all.In conclusion, The Pearland Natatorium is a wonderful family friendly option for your gym needs. There are areas and activities for all ages. This includes families with children ages 6 months to 11 years who will find a safe and secure environment in the Kidz Korner while mom and dad workout. For the options available at this facility, it is easy on the wallet as well. Monthly individual plans start at $35 while a family of up to 5 will see rates just shy of $70.

Ive been a member for about two years now and the potential of this facility is enormous. Unfortunately, the management of this facility is terrible. Got there this morning to be told to get out of the pool because all of the lifeguards did not show up. This is not the first time this has happened. Ive not gone more than a month without something going wrong. No temperature control of the activity pool, we went months without hot water in the showers, lifeguards unable to open the facility because they get locked out of the security system, the list goes on and all you get from anyone there is excuses. Its one thing to have an issue and fix it, its another to have it keep happening. Its a great facility. Its a shame it is not managed compentently

I went once and bought a membership. The warmth of a year round indoor pool is nice but it is completely breathtaking. They have 3 pools. One has a slide that I love with a walk in slow grade to enter if you need. They have lifts if you have a disability and need help entering the pool. They have a pool for doing laps. Then one for diving. The price for up to a family of five is around 60 a month and much less if you pay for a year at a time. The staff is so friendly in every area. There are things to do for the whole family with machines only carrying healthy snacks. On weekend in one pool they have what I would call a floating obstacle course in one pool. They have various adaptive activities like even wheelchair rugby. How cool. I must admit I have never seen a public pool so hygienic either. The water exercise classes are not to be missed if you are shy, older, or like me larger in need of lower impact exercise. You can buy a pass for one day at a time if you want to try. They have the best locker room I have ever seen. I think I am also impressed that as a community everyone takes great care of the facility. Most wholesome place for the everyone in the family.

A wonderful place that all residents should be proud of. The natatorium is enormous but swim teams and practices dominate it so you should know that up front. The rec center itself is state of art and very well done with reasonable family pricing. The only issue is that I have a Pearland address but do not live in the City of Pearland so we pay a higher fee. I get that but it still seems wrong. Its a minor issue since the facility is so well done.

The only thing that I would like for them to offer is Sauna. Other than that it is very enjoyable
