Wow, does this brings back memories from years ago! I was brand new in town, a young engineer just starting my career at Ralph Parsons Company.Was attending the 5:15 service here on a late Sunday afternoon that was VERY dark from the thick clouds & drizzly rain ... And I was pretty much the only one singing any of the songs; it was an echo chamber in the church! Im like wondering, Where is all the joy, people? !!Well in about 2 months the Lord had me worshipping in a nearby evangelical church where it seemed everyone was singing the hymns!And in 1 year I was born again, born from above by the Holy Spirit! (John chap.3)Despite many, many trials over many years, the Lord has been so awesome & faithful. And why not, those are some of His names in the Bible!My hearts prayer is that you will seek Him, and Him ALONE!! ... w/all you heart - in His holy Word, the Scriptures, and in prayers from a soul that is truly seeking Him.He ALONE saves - by His own mercy, not by any supposed good works of our own.Praise God from whom all blessings flow!Praise Him all creatures here below.Praise Him above ye heavenly host.Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!Amen

Church service is spiritually filling. I am always welcome, from the people attending, to the staff and the priests. The joy received is inexplicable. Having faith is so rewarding.

Beautiful architecture, great location, and an overwhelming feeling of Peace

BEAUTIFUL CHURCH WITH A LARGE PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET. THEY ARE SOCIALLY DISTANCING THE PEWS AND EVERYTHING IS VERY CLEAN.

St. Andrews is a beautiful place of worship in the they dont build them like this anymore category. Catholicism-wise, they lean towards the return to traditionalism, anti-Vatican 2 camp. If that is your cup of tea, this is your place.

One of the most beautiful churches in LA Metro. Also, this is the church featured in movie Princess Diaries 2 with Anne Hathaway. We got married here in 2006 and baptized our baby here as well in 2019. Staff and clergy aways the best.

This is an amazing place to contemplate beautiful an amazing architecture, art, and history. The priest did a very inspirational homily and all the parishioners looked very happy to be part of this community. The music was beautiful. This is a place with some much to admire that is hard to concentrate in the mass.

Like most of Pasadena’s churches, it’s beautiful. I can only comment about the architecture, beautiful old cathedral with side altars and a side chapel, from a time modern church architects and clergy want buried and forgotten. It’s a shame the archdiocese prefers to now built ugly, modern, Starbucks inspired, monstrosities that leave you empty if not depressed.

Amazing sense of community at this parish with amazing priests and a big growth of various ministries. I have always felt welcomed especially after getting involved in different ministries. This place felt like home from the first day I stepped foot inside the church.

This is one of the most beautiful churches in the LA area. The architecture with its high ceiling and the design of the altar is amazing. Add in the marble columns and the holy statues spread out throughout the church, you can see why this church is so beautiful.I attended a New Years Day mass here and was lucky to have the mass conducted by a bishop with the help of the priests. The homilies were translated in both English and Spanish

One of the LA areas most beautiful churches

This parish was where my maternal grandparents were members for over 60 years. I live in North Hill County of San Diego and a member of St Gregory The Great, Scripps Ranch, but when in Los Angeles over the weekends, I attend Sunday mass at 12:30.

Its a great Catholic church ,we had my mom funeral there a few years ago.

Visiting from indiana, found the church beautiful, the priest was enlightening and the the music and singing was beautiful, will make sure GOD Permitting that i attend mass at st andrew church every visit here

The most beautiful church in the LA Archdiocese! A stunning example of Romanesque architecture and a prayerful ambiance work together to make this a Church I look forward to visiting whenever I am in Old Town. The Art Deco mural in the sanctuary and the one of our Lady Enthroned are some of the most unique and tasteful examples of contemporary religious painting.During the day the interior is kept minimally lit making it a wonderfully contemplative environment especially around the side alters of Our Lady.This church also has the longest and earliest confession times in the area, from 3 until 4:45 on Saturdays.

I love this parish. My heart feels at peace whenever I step foot into this church. I look forward to having my wedding here in June 2019! Were so stoked and eternally grateful with the lovely staff who have helped out us tremendously through this wonderful journey. Thank you Luci!

Five stars is not good enough for this sanctuary of Peace and sense of balance a person feels when you walk in. From the first moment I walked in it felt as though arms of Love & Peace held me. I love this church because it is always open.... Always there when you need it the most!!!

My father Agustin passed this April we went there to make funeral arrangements and they are very kind and patient with all this, they never make you feel like your asking to much and that is very comforting at this difficult time, we have used this church for many family members in the past and always pleased with there services, thank you Saint Andrews for making this very easy for my family, Mendez familyservices,,

In my opinion, a church is not a restaurant or a hotel, therefore these comments are ridiculous, including the 5 stars above. For a catholic a church is not a theater, but a special place to pray and meet God.
