My wife and I attended Our American Cousin play in this cozy theater. I love every second of the show. The story line was entertaining and the cast was superb! We will definitely be back for the next production show. This is Pasadena’s hidden gem. And did I mention the cookies are so delicious?!

Beautiful venue; crackerjack performers; friendly staff; yummy treats. The Artistic Directors did a heroic job editing Goldoni’s “Servant of Two Masters” down to a fast-paced and fun 90 minutes. Fun times for the whole family!

So delighted to have discovered the Parsons Nose Theater Company! Quality theater right here in Pasadena in their clever and comfortable new home! Saw The Government Inspector last night and it was a real delight! At the intermission Lance the director ran around with a silver serving tray offering red wine and apple cider to the audience for free! And then returned to the stage to play his multiple roles in the play! Cant get a better experience anywhere!

This place used to be the chapel of a funeral home if Im not mistaken, so, like any good theater, its haunted!!! I kid, lol. In all seriousness, I had a blast seeing The Twelfth Night performed here. It was an outrageously witty and warm performance by a talented troupe, on a wonderfully envisioned stage, in a diminutive theater with personality and presence. And there were cookies!! And wine!! And such a lovely group of people running the place!! They encourage a small donation for the wine, and to keep this little theater company kickin, it is WELL worth it. Theater is one of those things that makes me feel alive, in an intrinsic and colorful sort of way, and I really loved the experience I had at Parsons Nose.

I recently visited the theatre during Pasadena Art Walk, they chose to perform classic radio shows including Lone Ranger and Buck Rogers. It was an amazing experience, each performance was engaging and well done; you could feel the passion and dedication to this lost form of entertainment.Small theatre near Pasadena City Hall that performs condensed classic adaptations that present the language, characters, plot and spirit of the worlds greatest writers - not only by Shakespeare, but Molière, Goldoni, Shaw, Andersen, Goldsmith, Grimm - the most revered writers of Western Literature. Our productions are intelligent and fun, reaching out to adults, seniors, teens, and bright youngsters. All actors are classically trained. The plays are ageless and timeless, performed with zeal and passion, making each performance a unique experience.
