Great little local mining history museum. Free but accepts donations. Picnic tables, great playpark, old mining equipment, and a few buildings with site history artifacts. The kids loved this stop!

We just finished a trip to Fairbanks and back stopping at historical places and museums. This was my favourite! There is so much history and information here that was a complete surprise to me! I wont give anything away but this place is definitely worth stopping to see! I liked the post office/chicken coop! Such a cool park!

A great place to stop and stretch. This outdoor attraction is free, but if you enjoy reading about history, wander the exhibits and leave a donation. They do a great job of keeping this place up.

Alpine Historical Park is in a beautiful area and is well managed. Theres a nice park for families with kids and a few museum displays to visit. Perfect for a quick rest stop.

This is a great little park you might drive past - don’t! There are all sorts of local history artifacts gathered for free along with a playground. It used to be part of a mine so there is equipment, but also numerous historical buildings moved to the site and reconstructed Native American and early Anglo settler dwellings. Appears to be a labor of love by the community. It’s free and there are bathrooms! A great spot, well done.

Very neat place to visit

Nice place for a picnic and to learn. Kids had a blast @ the playground.
